I'm not sure if this belongs in Off The Wall or not as it does involve the Bills… My wife and I are seriously contemplating a move to the UK. After speaking with Nick in England via PMs it has become evident that watching every Bills game in London just isn't going to happen as they don't offer Sunday Ticket. So, my question: Would it be possible to buy a Slingbox, hook it up to my brother's second Direct TV receiver (in CT) and watch the Bills game via my computer in the UK while he watches his Colts game on his TV? I've never used a Slingbox or spoken to anybody that owns one so I'm curious as to the quality of the video and what type of lag you get while using it (particularly someplace as far away as the UK). Other than needing a power-converter for my computer are there any technical issues that I'd need to deal with? A second question: Is it possible to take my NTSC TV with me to the UK along with my DirecTV dish, point the dish to the proper place in the sky and receive my direct TV programming (namely Sunday Ticket) while in the UK? I realize DirecTV wouldn't allow me to do this if I informed them, but if I changed my billing address to a family member in the US is there anything technically that would prevent me from receiving the signal in the UK? Thanks in advance to anybody who can offer a little illumination on either of these subjects.

For that matter why do the Chargers not switch to their powder blue unis full time? They're the best NFL uniform I've ever seen but they only wear 'em a few times a year.

Yeah, when you're the short stack you've pretty much got to move in when you have less than 7-9 times the blinds. Thankfully I sucked out twice and got my stack back (and then some).

The problem with low stakes play isn't that you get one guy calling every bet, if that was the case you'd end up making loads of cash. The problem is that 4-5 guys at the table all do it. Beating one player who doesn't know what he's doing is easy but hoping that all 5 guys at the table don't suck out puts you on the short end of the odds. I call it Pot-Luck Poker and it's aggravating as hell.

I just stumbled upon this thread, I'm game. I just signed up to Poker Room and didn't have any of the troubles some others have mention (I'm using IE 7). I did run into a hitch when trying to deposit cash though. It said the bank wasn't responding and to check my bank balance in 10 minutes to see if the transaction went through. Hopefully I'll get this fixed before tomorrow night.

Are you implying that when Flutie was here the Bills weren't undecided at QB? I think you probably meant since Kelly left.

Peyton is one of the least sacked QBs in the league. He does a great job of sidestepping the rush and reading/reacting to the D to get the ball away quickly. When it comes to avoiding sacks Peyton is certainly "good enough".

I'm not sure there's a team in the league that would take Marbury and his contract even if they didn't have to trade anything to the Knicks for him.

Do you really think he should serve time for being convicted of the charges? The report said Sullivan was charged with a seatbelt violation, running the stop signs, playing loud music and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. Unless the guy has a previous record there's no way he should serve any time for any of that.

By "music videos" do you mean reality TV?
