  1. Oh I realize that, and maybe one day I will check it out. It doesn't seem like I'm missing too much though.
  2. I think this is spot on. I've never heard him or Schopp before (I'm long gone from Buffalo), but I remember Coach Sal on Billszone used to have interesting posts, he was a good read. Anything of late though that I read from him is pretty weak. Being on the outside looking in, the beat guy these days who I like is Joe Buscaglia.
  3. Yeah, that's a good point. Just look at 26CopyPaste.
  4. Buffalo is also infinitely cooler than the Aryan state of Wisconsin.
  5. I don't really care what IceBowl says or does, it's just a message board.... but I will say !@#$ the Packers and !@#$ their fanbase.
  6. Those are both pretty good, especially Foul Play. It's been awhile since I saw it, but I remember it mostly for Goldie Hawn being molten hot. I will admit they did have good chemistry together.
  7. If you win, that’s blood money betting against the Bills. If you lose, I will laugh.
  8. They also wrote and recorded Without You, now a standard, which Nilsson took to #1. I do not care for their version at all though
  9. Oh OK, I just looked them up on Billboard, and that did chart the highest. https://www.billboard.com/music/badfinger/chart-history Very good to great song, but I would rank it 3rd behind No Matter What and Come And Get It, with Baby Blue a close 4th. It's definitely the one that is most pop, where the others are rock.
  10. I thought he was great the first year of SNL, but that was just a mirage. Still, he will always have NL's Vacation & Christmas Vacation.
  11. Which one of their hits are you saying is the ONE?
  12. Ryan Denney made several impact plays that helped the Bills win games, whether it was a critical sack or that TD against Seattle. Outside of the Bills loss against the Cowboys on MNF, Kelsay was always a day late and a dollar short... for many, many years. Even Coy Wire blocked a punt to help beat Miami.
  13. I partially saw them open for the Stones in Detroit 13 years ago. Wasn’t paying attention at all, they truly did suck. Not Journey-level of suck, but still suck.
  14. Unless they play QB, don’t burn any high draft picks on high motor lunch pailers, especially if they may be roidheads*. Better safe than sorry. * to be fair, I haven’t studied him enough to determine if this is indeed the case here.
  15. Well, if it’s in a book, it has to be true.
  16. Peters is the only one I miss. Well, I guess TT and Fitz for the back-up QB too.
  17. I'd have to watch them a lot more, but I would take Oliver on principle.
  18. Usually what happens is some self-appointed, vocal 'experts' start crying when a team signs a player they don't like because they've read bad things about him on the internet. After that, all it takes is an announcer slamming said player on TV for a bad play or 2 while showing the replay, and voila, whipping boy! If he's pointed out for a bad play in a couple games, BIG whipping boy... and yes, I do speak from experience.
  19. Other than Vontae, it's still too early to call. I do remember 2006 being brutal, with names like Robert Royal, Tuten Reyes, and Melvin Fowler coming to town. They were trying to emulate the Pats, who signed a ton of low-level FA's that greatly contributed to their team. Thanks Marv.
  20. Agreed. He looks really old these days.
  21. I would expect this in the New York Times, not the Bleacher Report.
  22. I’d expect that from the New York Times, but not the New York Daily News.
