I think Thunder Road is his best song, but it has to be rocking with full band and no late-career cowboy twang for me. Solo doesn’t capture the flow and build-up from beginning to magnificent end ala the 78 & 81 tours.

Macca is one of the all-time greats, but he’s also a twaat.

Ad Astra was pretty good. Very slow though, but never boring. Rambo was OK, there were some great kills in it, but it wasn’t close to as good as the last one.

Oh I’m not hating on Ringo, it just is what it is. Just cause a song is filler doesn’t mean it’s bad, his songs are good filler, I enjoy them all.

Very sweeping generalization, but for the most part, I would say Beatles songs sung by Ringo = filler.

There’s also a large percentage of America that enjoys watching bleeding hearts crying about poor Kaep, gotta keep them happy too.

When I listen to Ram, I can’t help but think how astronomically better the good tracks would’ve been with Lennon singing backup instead of Linda. The others aren’t really missed on POB and ATMP. Yeah, I can’t speak for everyone, but that’s the way it felt to us kids.

I played the 1st 2 Cars albums in my car the past couple days for the first time in many, many years. Sad to say I found them very dated, and the some of the filler tracks like I’m In Touch With Your World were unlistenable. They are short CDs, so I added Drive to the end, that’s still their best tune IMO. Also listened to Eddie Money’s greatest hits, and I enjoyed it more, Take Me Home Tonight was by far the best between these 2 acts, also IMO.

Hell to the no. I hate all other 31 teams, but out of them, I will say I hate the Raiders the least.

Back in the day, Linda was far more hated than Yoko in my crowd. Everyone blamed her & Macca for breaking up the band.
