  1. 1st band I ever saw, opening for Alice Cooper New Year’s Eve at the Aud.
  2. I saw The Irishman last weekend in its limited theatrical run before it hits Netflix next week, another Scorsese masterpiece. DeNiro and Pacino were tremendous, and it was so great seeing Pesci again.
  3. Yeah, their 1st half of the decade was great, but everything Little Creatures and after was very disappointing to me.
  4. I wouldn't say utter disdain, I like a lot of it.... but more like than love, if that makes sense. I tend to like songs more than acts or albums. Too much inconsistency throughout. Some of my other favs like Psychedelic Furs & X started out great but fizzled out. Great though if you were a Jacko/Madonna/Prince fan. I will say that I think Prince always dropped a good album every summer until Batman. As far as the original post, above all else it was a devastating decade if you were a Neil fan, WTF.
  5. Some say that 1980 is too early to represent the decade, but if you count it and I do, then the Jim Carroll Band is the band of the 80's, nothing comes close to touching Catholic Boy IMO.
  6. Yeah, I went to Purdue in the late 70's thru early 80's, I think I've heard them all. Their earlier stuff is better, certainly different. I do like Roll With The Changes, that'd be a good song for a good bar band to cover.
  7. Prince could rock pretty hard. Smiths put me to sleep zzzz. All JMO.
  8. Never got into the Smiths at all, weak vocals IMO. I'd say the best 80's band was probably Prince and the Revolution. Honorable mention to U2, they were a monster thru their 1st 3 LPs. My favs though would probably be the 'Mats.
  9. I don't remember REO Speedwagon ever being cool. Maybe in the mid-west cow-towns like Indy. They were like only a few steps above Journey. I liked their first album, it rocked...all went downhill for me after that.
  10. My analysis is: ***** the Steelers. I believe Garrett.
  11. Don’t forget Jason Sehorn.
  12. Absolutely no doubt now that I'd take Lamar over Mahomes in a big game.
  13. There's always Kujo, but I don't know if he would leave the New York Guardians.
  14. No, once we get rid of Whaley gems, we don’t bring them back (see: Preston Brown).
  15. Hopefully Jay-Z learns from this mistake.
  16. Drafting Lamar would’ve been a very tough sell in Buffalo after TT, most everyone wanted a more traditional pocket passer. I’m glad to see him having success though, he is a lot of fun to watch.
  17. I'd just like to thank everyone for the 10 pages of Kaep analysis.
  18. Could be a lot more games if Rudolph didn’t no-sell the helmet hit. He should’ve dropped to the turf holding his head.
  19. This pales in comparison to Joe ‘Turkey’ Jones piledriving Terry Bradshaw’s head into the turf and Mean Joe Greene spreading Bob McKay’s legs like a wishbone + stomping him in the nuts. It’s Steelers-Browns.
  20. I’m not sure how long he’s out, but I just want to say ***** the Steelers, thank you Garrett.
  21. I don't usually do this, but since there was some confusion, let me explain the mechanics of the post. I fully realize that there was no way that KtD would nym-drop any names from this board, because while it would be good for some cheap laughs in here, it's true that no one else in the fanbase would know what he's talking about. The post was really just a shout-out to some of the nitwits in here... nothing more. nothing less. As an added bonus though, one of the said nitwits was triggered enough to write an illiterate response, which ended up making the post a win-win.
