  1. Based on your previous posts I think it is a stretch to say that you love Fred, other than in the more abstract "I love him as a human being" sense.
  2. Karlos Williams, 22, ruptured something. Or busted something. Whatever his lower body injury, it makes you wonder if we need 4 RBs.
  3. He's getting old and injury prone. Cut him. Sorry, wrong RB with a hamstring injury in practice... My mistake.
  4. This is a bad pickup. Even if he makes the roster, he is virtually guaranteed to be suspended. If it was a real position of need, it might be worth a shot, but this is really not a move that clearly benefits the team in any way. It probably will not have a huge downside, but more likely just fizzle and be a distraction. I have a bad feeling about Rex's coaching abilities and judgement.
  5. You get some honesty from the GM and people are upset? Would you be MORE upset if he said "no way will we need a quarterback, I refuse to answer, our QBs are Pro Bowl caliber?" Let's not forget this gem: "We don't have Lebron James at QB".
  6. So can I blame Marv for sleeping through meetings and apparently not even trying to improve the situation ? He may have been unqualified as GM but I am assuming he still had a knowledge of football.
  7. Now that we've had a cheer, can we get the wave started in here?
  8. 1) You don't? Either you have not read this thread (multiple people have said something to the effect of "cut him now") or you have a very active ignore list. A guy with 10 posts said "Cut him" just 30 minutes before you posted.
  9. We still don't know this do we? All I saw were rumors. Leroi who wanted Fred gone even denied (at least once) that Pegula would interfere. I do not know where Leroi stands but I assume he is still expecting Fred to be cut in camp.
  10. If Anderson used the "Logo" gauge then all the balls would have been starting at a true pressure of 12.2 or so with the gauge reading 12.5-12.6 (ie legal). What are the chances of such a coincidence? Would the Pats staff have prepared the balls at 12.2 and somehow hoped they all slid by because there might be an inaccurate gauge? Seems implausible. So is the part where the equipment guy set the balls down next to a nonexistent urinal.
  11. According to the report the Pats guy said the refs "F'ed" them and some of the balls were at 16 for the Jets game. Seems like they either were not deflating at that time, or the deflator didn't always get a chance to be alone with the balls. The evidence that Brady knew what they were doing specifically is not air tight. However the evidence that he lied to the investigators when he claimed not to know McNally's name or job is rock solid. I think he gets 4 games just for misleading the investigators. And the team gets 250,000 fine for refusing 2nd interview for McNally and accusing league of bias. Belichick gets a 25,000 fine for lack of control.
  12. Here's a team that lost its title:http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/othersports/article-2459172/Spanish-basketball-team-pretended-disabled-win-Paralympic-gold-guilty-fraud.html
  13. They should make the Patriots play the whole season with rugby balls.
  14. If we cut Fred without giving him a fair shot... watch out for a McCoy injury. The last thing we need is any further curses.
  15. Use the 2nd or move down no more than 15 spots. After that seek to package any lower round picks for better picks next year.
  16. If we include non head coaches let's not forget Ronnie Jones.
  17. Fred is facing uphill odds to make the roster. I think he gets cut during preseason and then has to wait for another team to lose a RB to injury before he is signed. I don't like it but that is the feeling I have.
  18. No Michael Sam or Aaron Hernandez? But Tebow gets coverage? Wow.
  19. I look forward to the Bills vs. Eagles superbowl.
