If the story is now that just one ball was significantly deflated, why would the NFL not have made a more direct statement about that fact earlier? Ridiculous. But this is probably how it is going to go... Soon they will blame the Colts equipment manager.

You know the DB did make a great play. But in that situation with the game on the line, you have to expect them to go all out. The consequences of a great play against a run are probably a 1-2 yard loss. Then you pass it. Sure a fumble can happen too but it is less likely.

I'd say it was very closely matched. I think if you play it over and over, the Pats win only 50-55% of the time.

Then you take each one run them under cold water for 30 seconds and wipe. Quickly take to refs for testing. Ball has internal temperature of 110 and external of 70. What are the chances they even notice?
