  1. Hey if those casual fans don't take the integrity of the game seriously, let em watch WWE.
  2. Hey he's the father of at least 7.
  3. I am not arguing that he would be an improvement on our current RBs. Also I think the new coaching staff will help with the "faceoff" problem. But it would be nice to have some OGs and I think Peterson would get less than 5 ypc behind our 2014 line.
  4. Yes. It is hard to run in the NFL when you are being hit in the face by your OG's backside. Or when the handoff looks like a hockey faceoff between you and a DT.
  5. I think Mojo moved to Florida. Check the Jags forums. Or maybe he will leave us a mass text.
  6. So do we have to call them the Patriots** now? Or is there an easy symbol for a second offense?
  7. Does mojo have any insight into the cancelation?
  8. They don't call it FOOTball for nothing.
  9. They may want to sign Spiller.
  10. I foresee a regression in W-L next year which boost's Marrone's cred for 2016 jobs.
  11. How is EJ's footwork? If it is a problem, Rex should be able to coach him up.
  12. Now that Rex has his foot in the door. The team better take the the next step. We dipped our toes into the Rex pool and expect him to take us to the big dance. Let's just hope it is not a case of management tripping over themselves. Maybe on Monday, we will get official word on the OC and DC ... And be able to judge whether 2015 is starting off on the right foot.
  13. I'm guessing they go with a different team this year, but in 2016 the Bills can be 'picked' and it's a good chance.
  14. This. I mean, both are not good numbers. Bryce is faster. But here's the thing, Fred has good change of direction. Not as good as he used to, but good. Fred is like a changeup pitch and can make some defenders miss by jumping in front. The fact is that in games where he did really bad the defense seemed to key in on him because Orton was using him too much and/or no one else was doing anything. Fred is still valuable but is not good enough to carry the team on his own.
  15. Fred's not a top RB but he knocked out a number of 6-7 yard runs when there was not a blocking breakdown. If you look at most of his negative to 2 yard runs speed would not have helped. The problem is do not expect anything more than 9-10 from him anymore. Still he seemed as reliable as anyone on first down... All the RBs on the team did bad this year... Coaching and OL. Get a new #1 RB and see if Fred can help as backup.
  16. I'm with those who think the owners can do whatever. Taking it down will not change the fact that he was up there. So then it will be forever the ghost of OJ the superstar player who was on the Wall of Fame but then was taken off. In the end it is pretty tivial compared to the idea that he killed people and is in prison. That's not changing based on whether he is on the Wall or not. I think it is a matter of perspective. If you think his presence on the Wall represents a continuing honor then it is very similar to pulling on an OJ jersey and yelling "go Juice". So then you probably want it taken down. On the other hand if you look at the name and think "Hey that guy was honored in the past before he turned out to be a felon and likely killer", then taking it down is just not a priority because you cannot go back in time and undo it. I tend towards the latter but I do understand people who feel it is an ongoing honor.
  17. I stand corrected.
  18. You'd probably provoke a fight and might get thrown out by the Bills. Name on the wall or not. Oh on top of that the jerseys may be worth some money.
  19. Why do you think that happens? It probably had something to do with the team's management, don't you think? Also, notice how he is playing well for getting paid more. Sometimes you get what you pay for. Yeah.
  20. Hughes also stated that if tagged he will play. So it could happen.
  21. What do people think about the Bucky Gleason article on Reich? I am still not sure he is the best choice, but it is an interesting argument. Basically that his leadership qualities make him the right choice.
  22. You realize that posting this, it is like sending the Bat signal? I guess this should be called the "Rex signal"?
  23. Because assuming Fred likes Hackett on a personal level (or even if he's just OK with him), he (Fred) is doing the right thing and being a good team player. He's saying good things about a guy who is about to be unemployed and looking for a job. If he were to say anything at all negative about Hackett it would not be classy/cool at all, from an NFL perspective (or just about any perspective). So I'd take it with a little grain of salt, if you look at what Fred has been saying he is being very much a team player and that's what you'd expect from a team captain.
  24. The (in)action for which Paterno has been criticized, occurred during his tenure as the Penn State football coach. In fact, it was his very position as coach that put him in a position to influence the situation. On the other hand, OJ's actions for which he is condemned all occurred well after his football days were over. Whether people believe that makes any difference in how things should be treated, it is different in timing.
  25. That's nice of you. I have seen some crazy posts but I am not aware of anyone proposing Doug Marrone be castrated.
