The story about Jim Leonhard is really telling. He is a player we knew was marginal but who hung on in NY for a while. Polian's story seems a bit too specific to be false.

Apparently Pete Carroll doesn't have much belief in him as a runner but he is relied upon as a blocker and extra 3rd down receiver. As another poster pointed out, with the number of roster moves Seattle made... They could have simply cut him if they felt he was washed up. There is no real fan base in Seattle who would question them. And Russell Wilson did not have to say that much about him... Fred hasn't been known for much this year besides crashing his car. So if they think he can still contribute - their record gives them more credibility than the Bills staff. Having said that although I hated the cut, Fred would not have made any real difference in Buffalo this year. He doesn't play D, for one thing.

What we need are some tight ends that don't get hurt.

Imagine if we had that problem at LB or OL.

The loss is on the D primarily. On offense, the OL has more to do with the loss than Tyrod... Although he did not have a great game.

They should put in Rex Ryan at QB. He deserves to take a few hits.

No it looked like a contact injury. ACL tears seems to be more common with a non-contact. Anything is possible but I call MCL or PCL.

It sounds like retirement should be a serious consideration. However if he does not retire he should really let his body heal longer and not be reactivated. It seems hard to believe you are fully recovered from surgery in less than 2 months.

Out of bounds? Also, what is secure... Does holding it in one hand count? What about one hand and pinned against your helmet while you fall over? Between your legs with no hands? What if both players have their hands on the ball?
