  1. Maybe, but Long is a C too. I think Long steps into the Groy roll. Even if he’s starting at G he can slide to C and Teller or a rookie can step in at G if need be.
  2. Agree. I hope Dawkins and Teller are the only holdovers on the active roster.
  3. Not to derail this into a draft thread, but there are a few scenarios that could possibly allow this to happen. It is a long shot and will all depend on there being a big run on the QB's in the top 8, but if we landed Q. Williams I would probably faint from pure joy.
  4. And the Paradis saga ends with an M. Night Shyamalan twist. Fitting.
  5. This. People get hung up on BPA, but I'd be shocked if it wasn't a DT, Edge or OT. They may end up taking Hock but not at 9 IMHO.
  6. My money is on Hockenson now.
  7. Someone showed him the Gase press conference vid and he bailed.
  8. Ok, I really like this. We still need to draft one, give me Deebo! I’d rather have had him than T. Williams.
  9. I’m not getting my hopes up, but if we somehow added Bell and Williams at RT along with a top TE and WR in the draft....ok, maybe I am getting my hopes up. Dammit.
  10. Didn’t Gore play with Dorsey back at UM? That could have played a roll in this as well. If he’s as great in the locker room as everyone is saying, that alone is worth $2M per. Any contribution on the field is a bonus. I’m not as confused by this one as I was yesterday.
  11. I thought the same thing yesterday. I guess their mindset was that moving Glenn had more to do with getting a QB than it did with his own play? That’s the only thing I can come up with. It’s the “nothing matters til you get a QB” theory. I’m thrilled about Morse though.
  12. Gase does not scare me at all. They overpaid for Barr and REALLY overpaid for Mosley. It’s got a Redskins-ish feel to it. We’ll see how it plays out but I am not much more worried about them than I normally am, even with all the splashes.
  13. All hurdling jokes aside, he’s a good player who makes them better. I hate the jests. That is all.
  14. YES! Bring in Williams and we’re in business boys and girls.
  15. Hell, bring in Andre and Rex and we’ll go all in with the geezer crew.
  16. I’ll say Williams at $14m per.
  17. I guess this is just them choosing him over Ivory? We need a rookie in here badly.
  18. Damn, he's one I wanted. It'll be interesting to see the contract details, should set the tone for whatever FA we do sign.
  19. I really like Jenkins and he could step in at Guard immediately while providing depth at Center if we land Morse or Paradis.
  20. He wouldn't have been on my list, but if there is one thing these guys have proven, it's that they know how to scout DB's. Welcome to Buffalo KJ.
  21. I'll take these 3 along with Jesse James.
  22. I'm not as down on Zay as some but I could see him ending up as WR4 when it's all said and done. Zay is versatile and can play inside or outside in a pinch. Humphries would be deadly in the slot for Allen, who as we know likes to extend plays. He's got a better feel for space than Zay.
