I love the idea of trading down in the first (unless Q. Williams or Oliver are there) and then using our later round picks to trade back up for specific players in the 4th and 5th. It could very well play out that way. I'd be surprised if we end up making more than 8 picks total. I was reading up on Wren yesterday. If one of the elite DLs don’t fall to 9, he could be a good option later.

I think there is a very high likelihood that the Bills will go DL at 9 if they do not trade back. The value will likely be there.

That is a strong man. I’d like to think I could have perspective like his in a situation like that but I doubt I could. God bless him and his family.

Mahomes is a stud and will be for a long time. He also has a plethora of weapons and 2 years under his belt with one of the greatest offensive minds ever. No one, including the author of this article knows where either player or franchise will be in 5 years.

Whoever they take needs to have some combination of both. It’s really hard to find a guy with both elite size and speed. If I have to choose one, give me elite speed.

Forgive me if I missed it up thread but how did you come to determine that Star is and has always been a below average DL? PFF? Stat sheets? I’m just curious. I’ve watched him extensively on all 22 this year and he is one of the only players on the roster who I saw consistently doing his job and doing it well.

We’ve got to bring back Jordan Mills. Who else is going to get into a scrap with Jerry Hughes in training camp? Bring back, Zo, Phillips, Mills for depth.
