    I think we could draft a RB in the 4th-5th with a very similar skill set to Duke. I do like him but a rookie will be much cheaper.

    I think the punting job was Cory Carter’s to lose last season. He was bombing them in the preseason. I hope he’s back to 100%. If so I think we’re set on specialists.

    Didn’t Ray Ray essentially lose us a game because of a muffed punt? I’d much rather have the other team be nervous when we are returning the ball. Until they put Hyde back there it was dicey and he didn’t do much more than catch them.

    I didn’t realize he had been such a productive WR. In 2012 he had 64 catches for 759 yards. jests fans seem pissed he’s coming to Buffalo.

    Every time we kicked to him I was nervous. Now we get to flip that on the jests. I like it.

    If all 4 are healthy, a rotation of Hughes, Murphy, Lawson, Ansah would be something. You could split the reps pretty evenly among the 4 and keep them fresh the entire game. The importance of fresh legs when it comes to pass rushers can not be understated, especially in the 4th quarter.

    Maybe, but Long is a C too. I think Long steps into the Groy roll. Even if he’s starting at G he can slide to C and Teller or a rookie can step in at G if need be.

    Agree. I hope Dawkins and Teller are the only holdovers on the active roster.

    Not to derail this into a draft thread, but there are a few scenarios that could possibly allow this to happen. It is a long shot and will all depend on there being a big run on the QB's in the top 8, but if we landed Q. Williams I would probably faint from pure joy.

    This. People get hung up on BPA, but I'd be shocked if it wasn't a DT, Edge or OT. They may end up taking Hock but not at 9 IMHO.

    I’m not getting my hopes up, but if we somehow added Bell and Williams at RT along with a top TE and WR in the draft....ok, maybe I am getting my hopes up. Dammit.

    Didn’t Gore play with Dorsey back at UM? That could have played a roll in this as well. If he’s as great in the locker room as everyone is saying, that alone is worth $2M per. Any contribution on the field is a bonus. I’m not as confused by this one as I was yesterday.

    I thought the same thing yesterday. I guess their mindset was that moving Glenn had more to do with getting a QB than it did with his own play? That’s the only thing I can come up with. It’s the “nothing matters til you get a QB” theory. I’m thrilled about Morse though.

    Gase does not scare me at all. They overpaid for Barr and REALLY overpaid for Mosley. It’s got a Redskins-ish feel to it. We’ll see how it plays out but I am not much more worried about them than I normally am, even with all the splashes.

    All hurdling jokes aside, he’s a good player who makes them better. I hate the jests. That is all.
