The Switch between College to NFL gameplay
Just Jack replied to ryguy101's topic in The Stadium Wall
I went to a Syracuse University game a few years ago. I don't remember who the visiting team was, but their main RB would get the hand off, and then just stand there, until a hole would open up, before he'd start running. And it worked every time. Try doing that in the NFL. -
I'm not. That would add on 1-2 year for both marriages combined.

My ex-wife had a friend that was on her third marriage. She married husband #1 (H1), cheated (C1), divorced H1 so she could marry the C1/H2, then cheated on C1/H2, divorced C1/H2 so she could marry cheater #2 (C2/H3). And before my ex and I split, I think she was in the process of divorcing C2/H3.

I've been on plenty of construction sites. Some are all professional, and some are "frat party" style. It all comes down the the general contractor and how they run their site.

My wife and I have been together for 10.5 years, married for 7.5 of those. We have mentioned it doesn't seem like it's been that long. My longest relationship before her was about 5 years.

Are retail and restaurant workers getting ruder?
Just Jack replied to Miyagi-Do Karate's topic in Off the Wall
I knew a guy that when he had his house built, he had a safe installed in the basement, then put up cinder block walls around it, except for the door opening. You were not taking it out unless you took down the walls. I don't remember how wide it was, but it was as tall as a normal door opening. -

I've often thought, if I were to run a store, and a customer did the "I'm never shopping here again" line, I'd get their picture and place it at the entrance under a "Customers self-banned from shopping here" banner. -
Here's a behind view of the crash from a security camera.

I've had decent luck with Delta, was yours one of the smaller regional jets like the one that crashed? I did have a USAir flight years ago, remember them? I think it was just about the same time American Airlines bought them. It sounded like the roof was trying to come off during the whole flight.

Will Josh Host SNL In The Near Future?
Just Jack replied to ChevyVanMiller's topic in The Stadium Wall
Several people have mentioned Peyton Manning, so I looked it up. He hosted late March, 2007, less than two months after his first SB win, with the Colts, against the Bears. -
There's bound to be more videos from inside, this was the first one I've seen...

Are retail and restaurant workers getting ruder?

Way back in the olden times (early 1990's) I was working store setup at Builders Square (K-Marts version of Home Depot/Lowes) and was getting fully trained in the Paint Department. When it came time for the stores grand opening, they moved me over to Electrical. No idea why, I have absolutely no electrical experience. Thankfully shortly after I had a job offer from a place, I had applied to months earlier and took it. -

My wife was saying the same thing a while ago. Saw a neighbor of hers from when she was a child and even though the neighbor insisted that she (my wife) was old enough now that she could call her by her first name, my wife would not, because she's always been "Mrs. Smith". And speaking of my wife, back when I first started dating her, I was introduced to her nieces and nephews as "Mr. Wheeler". They only started calling me Uncle after we were officially engaged. I can think of only two elders of mine that I'm on a first name basis with, and that's two of my aunts. The age difference is less than 10 years between me and them. All my cousins also do the same, first name only, not Aunt "Jane". But the older siblings of those two aunts we always used Aunt and Uncle, because it was a much larger age difference. -
