  1. 20% off the next flight, gee whiz thanks.
  2. I've heard them talk about him. He's the third best DT listed because most teams run the 4-3 and you're talking about two different animals. The other two aren't NT and Williams is the best NT in the draft. The Bills need a NT desperately and he probably wont make it past Miami if he's still there when they pick.
  3. I agree but I'm just saying it's a possibility due to Chansaw's familiarity with him. If they can trade back and get another pick in the second round then taking him in the first would be ok with me. Not the best choice IMO, but not a bad choice. I'd say it has a 25% chance of happening. Also, if they don't draft a QB this year I won't care. I'd like LeFevour but the QB crop next year is supposed to be a lot better and getting the O line set for a rookie QB is a must IMO.
  4. Thomas is supposedly the best blocking WR in the draft and Chansaw wants a power running game. According to TSN he's also the best with release and RAC. Since he's a guy Chansaw recruited, I'm assuming, it's a distinct possibility. I guess I wouldn't be too unhappy with the choice if all four of the best OT's and Derrick Morgan are off the board at Buffalo's pick. Even if they pass over one of those guys in favor of him I'd be ok with it if he turns out to be a pro bowler and they manage to pick up an OT and a NT capable of starting in the next two rounds. We shall see, we shall see.
  5. These people fall under the "Thou dost protest too much" theory, IMO. I'd love to see the head of the church caught in an airport bathroom with another dude!!
  6. How the hell couldn't she have heard the kid screaming and the dogs too? Jailed for life is my solution.
  7. What he said.
  8. When Wright was playing the OL guys were smaller. A 270 pound NT won't cut it today. JMO
  9. This is an interesting opinion column; http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/Should...hawn-Lynch.html
  10. I just checked the roster and they have some guys that are close to fitting the NT mold. Favorite, Marlon DT 6-1 317 Duncan, Rashaad DT 6-2 315 Harvey, Lonnie DT 6-3 342 McCargo, John DT 6-2 307 Hopefully one of these guys will surprise at camp. This might be a position that McCargo's talents will fit. (crossing fingers)
  11. Williams is the only nose tackle on the team right now. If he can put on 20 pounds he'll be physically what a nose tackle should be, for the most part. He's listed at 6'1" 306 right now and if he gets to 326 pounds he'll be right around what Most tackles are. Wilfork is 6'2" 325, Casey Hampton is 6'1" 325, Aubrayo Franklin is 6'1" 317 and Ryan Pickett is 6'2" 340. They can't get rid of him and they have to pray he doesn't get hurt.
  12. All of the draft mags I read last year said he was a project with huge upside and that's why he was going in the first round. So a project player is not a bust after one year. OLB may be a much better fit for him, we'll see. The kid has a lot of physical skills but he'll be learning a new position. If he studies hard he can become a great player. JMO
  13. It did say it probably cost him his job which is a good thing. Whatta dumbass!!
  14. He ran a 4.60 forty at the combine and I think that pushed him back a little. Just more proof of forty times being waaaaayyy overrated. Lindy's 2010 pre-draft magazine has a re-draft of the top ten picks from last year and they have Byrd being picked at #8 to Jacksonville instead of OT Eugene Monroe. People want to run down Russ Brandon but he had a very good draft last year. (IMO the GM usually gets the credit or blame for a good or bad draft.) The tipped picks just show how much field awareness he has. I can't remember a Bills player that's had as much field awareness as he does. I hope the new coaching staff doesn't try to limit his freedom. I don't think they will because they seem smarter than last years staff and the DB coach is the same.
  15. Link The Sex Pistols broke up in 1978 after one studio album, in large part because of a feud between McLaren and Rotten, who walked off stage at the end of the band's last show declaring, "Ever get the feeling you've been cheated?" The band's surviving members have regrouped for periodic tours since 1996, but its official Web site still refers to McLaren as its "(mis)manager." McLaren went on to assemble the pop act Bow Wow Wow and record several albums of his own in the 1980s and '90s. Though the Sex Pistols took McLaren to court after their band split, Rotten issued a statement Thursday praising him. "For me, Malc was always entertaining, and I hope you remember that," Rotten said. "Above all else, he was an entertainer, and I will miss him, and so should you." People will only say good about somebody who dies, mostly. If McLaren was still alive and somebody asked Lydon about McLaren he'd have ripped him I'm pretty sure.
  16. He strikes me as an Eric Wood type guy. A guy who loves the violence of the field but can put it behind him when he steps off it.
  17. Chris Brown RB sixth round Buffalo.
  18. I refer you to my avatar for proof.
  19. When you bumped this I went back and looked at his stats and he has 35 inch arms. That's a very good thing for a LT so he could easily be moved to LT if the Bills think he's ready out of the box. I really like what I've read about his work ethic and nasty streak. If the Bills take him at #9 I'd be very happy.
  20. I'd take them with me. Do you know how expensive they are!!
  21. I think this coaching staff shows how much wasted talent there was on the Bills. I'm saying they finish at least one game better than last year. JMO
  22. Dev who sniffed the air appreciatively and glanced around the room his eyes settling on...
  23. Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale, a tale of a fateful trip. That started from this tropic port aboard this tiny ship, the first mate was a mighty sailing man, the skipper brave and pure. Five passengers that sailed that day for a three hour tour, a three hour tour. The weather started getting rough and the tiny ship was tossed if not for the courage of the fearless crew the Minnow would be lost, the Minnow would be lost. The ship hit ground on the shore of this uncharted desert isle with Gilligan, the skipper too, the millionaire and his wife, the moooovvviiee star, the professor and Mary Anne, here on Gilligan's isle!!
