  1. I wouldn't B word if they took him. I don't think he'll last past round 4. He looks like an Al Davis guy.
  2. TB is younger and I don't know what the current regime thinks of RP. RP should at least get a 7th rounder next year if TB proves himself in TC.
  3. A very small guy 5'8" 165 but has talent and could be a KR on ST's. Highlights; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JZwiWu-XqZ4 If he can play in the NFL he may let the Bills trade RP.
  4. I think she bears some responsibility. Especially since she told the cop she didn't know if she'd been raped or not. I don't think there is any excuse to rape a girl but she needs to keep herself sober enough to recall what happened an hour ago. How can she say she didn't say ok if she can't remember anything? The problem for this girl is that so many other women have tried to shake down athletes for big money that it causes a lot of scrutiny to anyone who makes the claim. As I said before I think he's guilty but not beyond a reasonable doubt. JMO If this really happened the worst thing she could do is sue him unless she donates all of any judgment to charity. If she sues for a lot of money it will just make her look like another gold digger.
  5. Whatever happens in the draft with him will be very interesting. He will have a lot of pressure to prove people wrong about him in the NFL. It will be interesting to see if the majority of scouts were right or wrong. If he's going in the late first round then the Bills won't get him unless they trade back in the first or down in the second.
  6. Dude, you're outta line. I am not defending BR I'm posting about him and if you read my stuff it's not defending him. No.
  7. Link Pennsylvania officials investigating trooper who was with Big Ben NFL.com Wire Reports A Pennsylvania state trooper who was with Ben Roethlisberger the night he was accused of sexually assaulting a 20-year-old female college student in a Georgia nightclub is subject to the agency's code of conduct even though he was working for the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback, police said Friday. An ongoing internal investigation will determine whether Trooper Ed Joyner did anything "that could reasonably be expected to destroy public respect for the Pennsylvania State Police or confidence in the state police," said Lt. Myra Taylor, a state police spokeswoman. HQ video delivered by Akamai A friend of the accuser said in a statement to Milledgeville, Ga., police that a "bodyguard" refused to acknowledge that the woman, who had been drinking, was alone with Roethlisberger in the back of a nightclub. Ann Marie Lubatti told police on March 5 that she told the bodyguard, "This isn't right. My friend is back there with Ben. She needs to come back right now."
  8. If you go back and re-read the first post I never said I think he's innocent. I said I couldn't find him guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. The girl told the police she wasn't even sure she was raped.
  9. Sorry, I was sure he meant SB.
  10. Sorry, couldn't resist.
  11. Link According to Blash's case summary, "he asked [the alleged victim] if Roethlisberger had raped her and she stated, 'No, I did not know what was going on,' because she was intoxicated so much." The summary said, "Blash indicated that he asked the victim, 'Did he rape you?', and the victim stated 'no.' Blash asked the victim if they had sex, and she responded by saying, 'Well, I'm not sure.' " Blash went to Capital City, where he found Roethlisberger and his entourage and told them about the allegation. "Roethlisberger told Blash that he remembered her and he had told her that she was too drunk to be back there," the summary said. "Roethlisberger did not allege any sexual intercourse with the female. Roethlisberger remembered her falling and hitting her head. The female's friends got mad because they could not come to the back." In the summary, Blash acknowledged having made off-color remarks about the alleged victim at the club. "When asked about a comment similar to 'this f------ b---- is drunk' or 'this b---- is drunk off her ass accusing Ben of assaulting her," Blash said that he did say something like that to the other Milledgeville police officers and indicated that Roethlisberger's bodyguards may have overheard the comment," the report said. It added, "Blash indicted (sic) that he was mad because the victim was not being 'straight up' with him and that pissed him off." Blash resigned Wednesday, Milledgeville Police Chief Woodrow Blue told CNN on Friday. He would not discuss reasons for the resignation. The resignation thing is very interesting, but if this case had gone to trial and I was juror I'd find BR not guilty. I wouldn't call him innocent, just not guilty by a reasonable doubt based on what they've released here.
  12. 6'6" 265 is undersized? I guess that's why I didn't get it. If they take JPP I'll eat my toilet.
  13. Good article, thanks. That's the point of the article. A great LT isn't necessary for a running game to succeed. In fact getting a LT leads to a less effective running game. Yes, he has to, literally, have some blocking but that's not what the article is about. This is only addressing the top 10 picks. I still think that a LT is going to be worth more overall to a team when pass blocking is factored in than a RB, but if the Bills end up taking Spiller it's not as bad as it seems.
  14. February 2011 is a few months?!
  15. Interview with Ms. Dupre (They aren't real) http://www.cnn.com/video/?/video/showbiz/2...P1&iref=NS1
  16. ? Do you mean Derrick Morgan? The guy that Chansaw recruited and can be a defensive end in the 3-4? The guy that TSN's War Room rates as the third best player in the draft? He's 266 now but has played at over 280. The guy isn't going to be an OLB.
  17. That's gotta be tough to enforce. I wonder if anyone has been prosecuted for that?
  18. Rae Carruth and of course Ray Lewis.
  19. Weird Laws; Kentucky # In Lexington, Kentucky, it is against the law to carry an ice cream cone in your pocket. # In Owensboro, Kentucky, it is illegal for a woman to buy a new hat without her husband trying it on first. # In Kentucky, no female is allowed to appear in a bathing suit on a highway unless she is escorted by at least two police officers, or armed with a club. Mississippi # In Canton, Mississippi, it is illegal to kill a squirrel with a gun while in a courtroom. I really want to know the genesis of that law!! Missouri # Any city in Missouri can levy a tax to support a band, as long as the mayor plays piccolo and each band member can eat peas with a knife. Well that came from public corruption.
  20. My dad grew up in a town so small they had a mirror on the border to make it look twice as big.
  21. I think it's a Rorschach test.
  22. I wouldn't be hugely mad if they took Spiller. If Okung, Trent Williams, Derrick Morgan, Sam Bradford, Suh or Gerald McCoy are still there I'll be pretty upset. If he turns out to be a Chris Johnson clone I'll be very happy with the pick.
  23. Well stated! But really, what temptations can there be in Miami that could get a guy in trouble?
  24. They should take them back and sell them in a newly created Perv. section.
