Favorite "The Office" Character and Episode
Steely Dan replied to Steely Dan's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I'm really starting to appreciate the greatness of that character. A snippet from an episode that ran tonight; (Karen is holding a baby and Creed comes up dangling a chain of paperclips in the babies face.) Karen: You can't give paperclips to a baby! They might swallow them! Creed: Ah, it's ok, I got lots of 'em. I couldn't figure out Creed's character until I read this from IMDB; Blurts random, creepy confessions. He would be the office oddball if it were not for Dwight. As far as he has let on, Creed Bratton is not his real name. Apparently, his real name is William Charles Schneider. As William, someone named Creed Bratton, a member of the band The Grass Roots, stole from him. William didn't take too kindly to that and the original Creed Bratton is missing. It is implied that the original Creed was murdered by William. William assumed Creed's identity, keeping his William Charles Schneider identity to transfer debts to. Creed sometimes sleeps in the office building under his desk, only has four toes on one of his feet, loves stealing things, and only recently got a fridge for the first time. He grows mung beans in his desk, knows how to speak Mandarin, has been involved in several cults (both as a leader and a follower), and runs a fake id business out of his car. He doesn't have a great memory due to drug use, so he doesn't really remember what his job entails and he constantly uses the wrong names on his co-workers. Guys I think will be busts or have character concerns; Dez Bryant - At any time (character) - WR Tim Tebow - First round. If he's taken in the second round I'll trust they know what they're doing but will question it a lot. - QB Anthony Davis - At any time (bust) - OT Tony Washington - Had sex with his sister. - OT Joe McKnight - Before 5th round (bust potential) - RB Joique Bell - Before 7th round (bust potential) - RB Mike Williams - Character - WR Any TE before the 6th round Terrance Cody - (bust) - NT Any DB before 6th round No OT before 4th round No DL before 4th round Zac Robinson - (bust) - At any time Probably end up a Fader Jacoby Ford - Before the 6th round Junior Galette - Character - DE/OLB Carlos Dunlap - (bust) Guys I think are sleepers: Dan Lefevour - QB Jonathan Crompton - QB Lonyae Miller - RB Andre Roberts - WR Darryl Jackson - I'm really high on this guy. I'd love to see Buffalo get him!!! NT Boris Lee - ILB Jeff Owens - DL could be NT

Time of Bills pick tomorrow?
Steely Dan replied to buffalo_bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Starting on the clock or having it read? I'll say being read at 8:47. -
Ok, here's what PFW had to say about Maybin last year; Negatives: One year starter. Nowhere near finished product. Needs to get significantly stronger and is one-dimensional at this point in his development... Summary: ...However, he is a major league pass rushing talent with natural ability that cannot be taught. An unrefined talent in the early stages of maturation with a very high ceiling... I think people need to back off on giving him the bust label just now.

Figure 10 minutes per pick so approx. 90 minutes from 7:30 so that's about 9:00. -
1. Bulaga - passing over Clausen and Morgan 2. Tim Tebow 3. Cam Thomas 4. Riley Cooper 5. JD Walton 6. Andrew Quarless 6a. Shawnbrey McNeal 7. Loren Washington 7a. Michael Palmer

Linky As a means of transportation it left something to be desired in terms of comfort and street cred. And when police asked the driver to pull over, the Barbie car, with its top speed of 4mph, was hopeless as a getaway vehicle. Paul Hutton, 40, is regretting his impromptu roadtrip after he was arrested for drink-driving when he tried to take the battery- operated child's toy to a friend's house.

Draft Busts of the 2000s: Where are they now?
Steely Dan replied to Joaquin1119's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
WR Troy Williamson(notes), South Carolina: There's a big difference between an actual receiver and guy who can run really fast in a straight line. When the Vikings took Williamson seventh overall in 2005, they apparently lost the memo. Williamson's never broken 500 receiving yards in a season, and he's currently struggling to find a place on Jacksonville's sub-par receiver corps. Just another reason to ignore 40 times. Where's JP on the list? Mike Williams Roy Williams Mike Williams Just say no to Williams' and especially Mike Williams'. Do you hear that MW Syracuse WR? -
If the Bills don't trade Lynch it seems to me that
Steely Dan replied to Steely Dan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't believe it's Lynch who instigated the trade talk. It's been reported the Bills wanted to trade him. IMO, a team doesn't want a guy who doesn't want to be there. JMO -

Please tell me where, when OJ was convicted of murder? Sometimes there isn't enough evidence to go to trial but there is enough evidence to read the writing on the wall. If she sues him in civil court she'll probably win. Rape isn't about sex it's about power; Link Myth: Rape is sex. Fact: Rape is experienced by the victims as an act of violence. It is a life-threatening experience. One out of every eight adult women has been a victim of forcible rape. (National Victim Center and Crime Victims Research and Treatment Center, 1992) While sexual attraction may be influential, power, control and anger are the primary motives. Most rapists have access to a sexual partner. Gratification comes from gaining power and control and discharging anger. This gratification is only temporary, so the rapist seeks another victim. I remember reading somewhere that sometimes rapists don't ejaculate and that's not unusual. -

Who will be the booms and who will be the busts

According to NFL.com their opponents were 128-128 last year. After the draft I'll take a spin at predicting the record. For the past 10 years I've been very optimistic. I probably will be again.

No they haul it down the hall to a garbage chute. At least in all of the high rise buildings I've seen. No, that was Garfield. -
Bills 2010 Regular Season Schedule Week 1 - Sun. Sep. 12 Dolphins at Bills Week 2 - Sun. Sep. 19 Bills at Packers Week 3 - Sun. Sep. 26 Bills at Patriots Week 4 - Sun. Oct. 03 Jets at Bills Week 5 - Sun. Oct. 10 Jaguars at Bills Week 6 - Bye Week 7 - Sun. Oct. 24 Bills at Ravens Week 8 - Sun. Oct. 31 Bills at Chiefs Week 9 - Sun. Nov. 07 Bears at Bills (In Toronto) Week 10 - Sun. Nov. 14 Lions at Bills Week 11 - Sun. Nov. 21 Bills at Bengals Week 12 - Sun. Nov. 28 Steelers at Bills Week 13 - Sun. Dec. 05 Bills at Vikings Week 14 - Sun. Dec. 12 Browns at Bills Week 15 - Sun. Dec. 19 Bills at Dolphins Week 16 - Sun. Dec. 26 Patriots at Bills Week 17 - Sun. Jan. 02 Bills at Jets I'd prefer to see the Dolphins in Buffalo late in the year. The Bears in Toronto is cool. Better than a divisional game, IMO. Finishing the season in NY is ok. It will probably come down to deciding the division title. I'd also prefer the bye to be later in the year.

Harold Gerber, who runs a real estate business and has lived in his co-op on East 75th Street for more than two decades, said he was already worried about security, and grumbled at the prospect of hauling his own trash. “It will affect us tremendously,” he said. -
Is Vinny Cerrato referring to Maybin?

Same here. If he is cut by the start of the season I'll eat my toilet after not cleaning it for a month. -
Watson, yes. The other chick, no.

Who will be the booms and who will be the busts

Busty Female Shop Assistant: Is this some kind of bust? Lt. Frank Drebin: Well, it's very impressive, yes, but we need to ask you a few questions. Bosworth's nephew (Kyle) is a LB in this years draft. He's expected to be a UFA. Booms; CJ Spiller Derrick Morgan Sam Bradford Sergio Kindle Andre Roberts Rodger Saffold Torrell Troup Tim Tebow in two years Dan LeFevour in two years Busts; Terrance Cody Dan Williams Bruce Campbell Jermaine Gresham Anthony Davis Depends on who drafts them; Jimmy Clausen - If he starts losing because he starts for a bad team this year I expect a Leaf type meltdown. Dez Bryant - If he doesn't go to a team with a solid veteran base and a no nonsense HC he'll bust. -
I've thought the same thing. I wouldn't be upset with Pouncey at #9 also Iupati wouldn't bother me.
