  1. It's one of the best ensemble casts in TV history. Maybe the Brady Bunch or Gilligan's Island had better casts.
  2. TSN's War Room has him timed at 4.46. It was probably just a one off bad time. Not until I know who I have to replace it with.
  3. I wonder how FJ managed 4.5 yards per carry? CJ Spiller is 5'11". I've seen this 5'9" stuff on the board here a lot. Plays with emotion and isn't afraid to get in defenders' faces. Fights for the ball when it's in the air and isn't afraid to expose frame to big hit when competing for jump balls. Vision/Patience 3 Vision in open field is better than between the tackles. Appears hesitant at times and will get caught dancing in the backfield. However, he does an adequate job of locating seams and setting up blocks, especially when attacking the perimeter. Inside Runner 3 Lacks the leg drive necessary to push the pile in short-yardage situations. Not a downhill runner and can get caught dancing in the hole. Will not break many arm tackles and goes down too easily at times. However, he possesses excellent balance and lateral agility, which will allow him to succeed in this area of the NFL game. Displays elite burst through the line of scrimmage when he catches a crease. Explodes to the second level and can run away from defenders. Outside Runner 1 Turns the corner in a flash and shows a second gear when gets into space. Great body control when turning the corner. Changes directions quickly and is elusive enough to make multiple defenders miss in space. Passing Game 1 A potential difference maker as a pass catcher. Has experience lining up in slot and splitting out wide. Above average route runner for his position. Can adjust to the poorly thrown ball and displays consistent ability to track the ball over his shoulder. Excellent acceleration and is a huge threat in the open field after the catch. Willing pass blocker. 1 = Exceptional2 = Above average3 = Average4 = Below average5 = Marginal

  6. They were really going hard for Tebow, it's been said by two sources, and now he's gone. Does that mean that LeFevour (Tebow light as some call him.) is now on the radar?
  7. Here's another Spiller hi-light reel; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zxkNT9IxEu8...feature=related
  8. There are serious questions about Tebow's ability to play at the NFL level. There are very few, if any, with Spiller. JMO Is this what Nix meant by playmakers? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SFcecMcS6bA
  9. You may disagree with the pick but you've gotta love the kid!! JMO
  10. If they take Brown they'll probably make him a kicker and draft Lucy as his holder.
  11. Saffold, Clausen, Kindle, Tate, Benn, McCoy, Campbell, Bowman, Norwood, Spikes, Ducasse, Campbell are all left on the board and one of those is guaranteed to fall to Buffalo. Hopefully, it's Saffold, Kindle or Clausen.
  12. PHEWWwwwww!! They said the same thing on NFL Network coverage.
  13. NFL.com just reported that Denver took Tebow because Buffalo was trying to move up into the first round to get him. Even better that he's a Bronco. I would have gone apoplectic if they had spent more than one DP on him.
  14. We're talking about the team that ran Cutler out of town. Thank God I don't have to worry about Tebow being a Bill!! :w00t:
  15. Especially when he's 5'11" 200lbs.
  16. Great post! I guess it can be looked at as drafting a RB/WR/KR/PR. Not bad for a pick, JMO :worthy: What he said.

Spiller is the definition of explosive. He has good patience in traffic, but when he sees an opening, he explodes through it. He plays the game very unselfishly and will lead block and pass protect in addition to his duties carrying the ball. He is a weapon on special teams as a return man. Biography: The 5-foot-11 and 185 pound standout rushed for 1,415 yards and 20 touchdowns as a junior. The North Florida junior, who had the best 40-yard dash time at any of the Scout.com Combines last spring as a sophomore also ran the fastest time of any Junior at the Scout.com Combines. He averaged 11.6 yards a carry. Final senior season stats: Union County High School capped off their season on Nov. 18 in the first round of state playoffs against Trinity Catholic (Ocala). The Union County Fighting Tigers lost 20-31. "I know I had over 1,800 yards rushing this year on 167 carries for 30 touchdowns. And I had about 215 to 225 yards on receiving," said Spiller. Spiller reports a 3.5 GPA/21 ACT. Spiller: "I'm fast. I have great speed and vision. I'm really tough too. People compare me to Clinton Portis because I hit the holes hard and can explode like he does," said Spiller. "I want to improve the mental aspects of my game and have better preparation. I also need to get bigger so I can break more tackles and be more physical." Is quick to identify a crease and explode into it. Shows the balance, agility and strength to run through arm tackles, but doesn't break many tackles. Is a bit of an upright runner, leaving body susceptible to hard hits. Doesn't lower shoulders to deliver blows to defenders. Is a dangerous cutback runner, showing a sharp "jump cut" to explode through holes. Can freeze defenders in the hole and explode past them. Grade: 7.5 Outside running: Is a threat to score on every touch because of rare athleticism, speed, balance and strength. Is patient waiting for blockers to open a hole or seal the edge. Is an explosive cutback runner. Keeps legs churning, and fights for every yard. Grade: 8.5 Blocking: Lacks experience. Wasn't asked to lead block on any running plays in the games we evaluated. In pass protection, gives a solid effort and shows enough strength to be effective. Must be more aggressive and use better technique. Grade: 5.5 Hands/routes: Is not polished, but has all the tools. Is quick and explosive down the sideline and when aligned in the slot. Shows the quickness, explosiveness and speed to consistently separate from defenders. Shows good hands, and catches the ball well; twists body nicely to adjust to off-target passes. Grade: 6.5 Durability: Is the issue that could keep him from becoming an elite NFL back. Is strong and well built, but had trouble staying healthy in college. Shared the workload until senior season. Grade: 5.5 Bottom line: Spiller surprised us by returning to Clemson for his senior season because players with his rare big-play ability usually jump at the chance to enter the draft. He would've been a first-round pick in '09 but improved his stock as a senior, showing improved inside running and receiving skills. Spiller gets personnel men excited because he has all the tools to be an NFL star, someone who makes big plays from a variety of alignments. Career statistics Rushing Receiving Team Att. Yds. Avg. 23. Jimmy Clausen-QB- Player Apr. 22 - 4:47 pm et Citing "someone high ranking in the NFL," the National Football Post's Michael Lombardi predicts the Bills will have a quarterback before the first round is over. Former scout Daniel Jeremiah at Movethesticks.com was told by one source that the Bills are "for sure taking Clausen," and told by another that Buffalo won't take Clausen. "A lot of crap flying around right now," explains Jeremiah. There are also reports that the Bills will try to trade back into the first round late for a shot at Tim Tebow. Source: National Football Post Related: Bills ________ Tim Tebow-QB- Player Apr. 22 - 6:37 pm et Interested teams are discussing trades into the "final ten or so picks" of first round for a shot at Tim Tebow, according to SI.com's Peter King. ESPN's Adam Schefter had an identical report, stating that the more hears the more he believes Tebow will be a first-rounder. Schefter also expects Colt McCoy and Jimmy Clausen to go off the board in the first round. Denver and Buffalo appear to be the most likely destinations for Tebow. Source: Peter King on Twitter Clausen or Tebow? I'll take Clausen, that's just me.
  24. Link Sam Bradford-QB- Player Apr. 22 - 8:20 am et According to NFLFanhouse.com's Dan Graziano, the Redskins are still talking to the Rams about a trade up to No. 1 overall to select QB Sam Bradford. It makes sense only when considering the Redskins have yet to extend Donovan McNabb's contract. Bradford would sit for a year behind McNabb while developing under the watchful eye of Mike Shanahan. The Redskins are reported to be the only team still chasing Bradford. Though Shanahan has a history of shocking draft-day moves, ESPN's Adam Schefter said Thursday morning that the Skins are actually trying to trade down. Source: NFL.Fanhouse.com Related: Rams, Redskins ______________ Jimmy Clausen-QB- Player Apr. 22 - 8:46 am et ESPN's Adam Schefter predicts that Notre Dame QB Jimmy Clausen will fall to the Vikings at No. 30 overall. The Dallas Morning News' Rick Gosselin annually puts out the nation's most accurate mock draft, and agrees with Schefter's projection. It appears teams are souring on Clausen at the worst possible time for his stock. Other interesting picks from Gosselin's Thursday morning mock: Brandon Graham to the Jags at No. 10, Demaryius Thomas to the Dolphins at No. 12, Ryan Mathews to Seattle at No. 14, and C.J. Spiller falling to the Texans at No. 20. Source: Dallas Morning News Related: Vikings ______________ Willis McGahee-RB- Ravens Apr. 22 - 8:52 am et The Baltimore Sun believes Willis McGahee could be traded for a third- or fourth-round pick if the Ravens pick up a running back in the draft. Considering the value set the past couple of weeks, a third - or fourth-rounder is a pipedream. The Ravens would be lucky to get a fifth for an aging back such as McGahee. The Sun suggests the Lions as a possible trade partner, allowing the Ravens to dump McGahee's $3.5M salary. Source: Baltimore Sun Related: Lions ______________ Eric Berry-DB- Player Apr. 22 - 9:05 am et The Washington Post calls Tennessee S Eric Berry an "outside possibility" for the Redskins' pick at No. 4 overall. Rumors are swirling that the Skins will not draft an offensive tackle at No. 4, with both ESPN's Adam Schefter and Wes Bunting of the National Football Post hinting at the idea. The Skins' priority appears to be trading out of the No. 4 overall spot, but Berry is a viable option should they find no taker. Source: Washington Post Related: Redskins _____________ Kyle Williams-DL- Bills Apr. 22 - 9:14 am et There's a "growing sense" the Bills believe Kyle Williams can handle nose tackle in the new 3-4 scheme, according to the Buffalo News. Williams is undersized to play the defensive anchor role. Unless he puts on considerable weight this offseason, the Bills still need to pick up a true nose in the draft. At No. 9 overall, though, tackle may be a more pressing need on the league's worst offensive line. Source: Buffalo News _____________ Arrelious Benn-WR- Player Apr. 22 - 9:29 am et The Charlotte Observer projects the Panthers to draft Illinois WR Arrelious Benn with the No. 48 overall pick. The Panthers also have a pressing need on the defensive line, but local media has been pushing for a wide receiver with the first pick. Notre Dame's Golden Tate, USC's Damian Williams, and Ohio's Taylor Price are also possibilities. Source: Charlotte Observer Related: Panthers _____________ Jared Odrick-DL- Player Apr. 22 - 9:51 am et The San Diego Union-Tribune calls Penn State DL Jared Odrick "the ideal pick" for Chargers GM A.J. Smith. It's no secret that the Bolts also need help along their defensive line, making Odrick almost a no-brainer should he be available at No. 28. Unfortunately, the odds of Odrick making it that far seem long. The Patriots, Ravens, and Jets all pick before San Diego and need help at five-technique end. Source: San Diego Union-Tribune Related: Chargers ____________ Rolando McClain-LB- Player Apr. 22 - 9:55 am et According to ESPN New York, the Giants are targeting Rolando McClain and Jason Pierre-Paul with the No. 15 overall pick. "If the Giants don't trade up for McClain or if he is gone by 15, (GM Jerry) Reese is expected to take South Florida defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul," says beat writer Ohm Youngmisuk. The Giants aren't expected to have a shot at Derrick Morgan, who now appears highly unlikely to get out of the top 12. Source: ESPN.com Related: Giants ____________ Jimmy Clausen-QB- Player Apr. 22 - 10:00 am et NFL Network's Mike Mayock believes that Notre Dame QB Jimmy Clausen's ESPN interview with Jon Gruden could adversely affect his stock. During the interview, Clausen blamed one of his interceptions on his wide receiver running the wrong route. "The other night people around the league were talking about this," Mayock said on Friday morning. "He threw his wide receiver under the bus. And quarterbacking 101 is you take responsibility. People look at that and go 'wow'. Is that what we're getting?" Source: Profootballtalk on NBC Sports ____________ Toby Gerhart-RB- Player Apr. 22 - 10:03 am et The 49ers are reportedly more interested in drafting a power back than a "scatback type" like C.J. Spiller. This is seemingly speculation by columnist Tim Kawakami, but Kawakami is pretty clued in. He suggests Toby Gerhart in the second round as a preferred option compared to Spiller at No. 13 or 17. The report/suggestion doesn't bode well for San Francisco's long-term outlook with regard to Glen Coffee. Source: Contra Costa Times Related: C.J. Spiller, 49ers ___________ Morgan Burnett-DB- Player Apr. 22 - 10:04 am et GM Jerry Angelo insists that he won't deal the Bears' 2011 first-rounder to move up and select a safety this year. "We're out of that business," Angelo said. "I don't want to get cute and keep borrowing from the future with picks because ... it's very difficult to guarantee the present. So unless something happens that we really haven't created a scenario for, I doubt that we would do that." Source: Chicago Sun-Times Related: Bears ___________ Jimmy Clausen-QB- Player Apr. 22 - 10:14 am et The Washington Post puts the percentage of chance the Redskins would draft Jimmy Clausen 4th overall at "10 percent." Rick Gosselin's second mock had the Skins picking Clausen despite the acquisition of Donovan McNabb, but Gosselin's final version has the Notre Dame alum falling all the way to 30th. The Skins will continue to desperately try trading out of the fourth pick right up until their 15 minutes are over. Source: Washington Post Related: Redskins ___________ Taylor Price-WR- Player Apr. 22 - 10:19 am et Profootballtalk.com passes along word that Ohio WR Taylor Price's draft stock is on the rise. SI's Tony Pauline went so far as to suggest earlier in the week that Price could be the first wideout off the board this weekend. PFT doesn't believe he'll be drafted until the second round on Friday, but Price is benefiting from his commendable character, good size (6'0/201), and high upside. Source: Profootballtalk on NBC Sports ___________ Derrick Morgan-DL- Player Apr. 22 - 10:26 am et If Eric Berry goes off the board before No. 7 overall, the Browns reportedly intend to stick only with defensive players as fallback options. According to multiple sources, Georgia Tech DE Derrick Morgan is high on the Browns' draft board. He'd have to make the switch to outside linebacker in Rob Ryan's 4-3 scheme. The Browns may also be interested in Texas S Earl Thomas, Tennessee NT Dan Williams, or Penn State DL Jared Odrick. The team is believed to have "cooled" on Florida CB Joe Haden. Source: Cleveland Plain Dealer Related: Browns __________ Jimmy Clausen-QB- Player Apr. 22 - 10:34 am et After poking around with his sources, the Cleveland Plain Dealer's Terry Pluto does not expect the Browns to seriously consider Jimmy Clausen at No. 7 overall. Team president Mike Holmgren made it known over a month ago that he wasn't all that impressed with Clausen. Pluto believes, instead, that Texas' Colt McCoy is "their guy" due to Holmgren's preference for accurate quarterbacks. Source: Cleveland Plain Dealer Related: Colt McCoy, Browns __________ Sam Bradford-QB- Player Apr. 22 - 10:39 am et Multiple sources at Rams Park tell the St. Louis Post-Dispatch's Bernie Miklasz that there's nothing to the reports that Rams and Redskins are still discussing the No. 1 pick. NFLFanhouse.com's Dan Graziano reported that the sides were still talking Wednesday night, and rumors had circulated that the Rams would consider Albert Haynesworth, Jason Campbell, and the No. 4 pick in return. The Redskins seem far more likely to trade down in the first round. Source: Bernie Miklasz on Twitter Related: Rams, Redskins __________ Dan Williams-DL- Player Apr. 22 - 10:51 am et Appearing on the Jay Leno Show Wednesday night, Dolphins minority owner Jennifer Lopez said she wants the team to draft Tennessee NT Dan Williams with the No. 12 overall selection. Maybe Ja Rule or Ben Affleck taught her some scouting lingo. We can't imagine the stick-figured Marc Anthony knows a whole lot. "We have the 12th pick, you know, so I’m leaning towards Dan Williams," said J-Lo. "We need a defensive tackle, he’s really explosive off the line, can beat the double team and does a nice job finishing the play. But that’s just my opinion." Source: Orlando Sentinel Related: Dolphins __________ Earl Thomas-DB- Player Apr. 22 - 11:10 am et Two Cowboys insiders "downplayed" a Wednesday report that the team had discussed trading up with the 49ers to select Texas S Earl Thomas, according to the Ft. Worth Star-Telegram. It's not just the Star-Telegram. The Dallas Morning News and ESPNDallas.com also had similar reports, which means only that the Cowboys are publicly denying trade talks. Thomas is an obvious fit for the Cowboys as long they don't have to part with too much to trade up. Source: Ft. Worth Star-Telegram Related: Cowboys, 49ers _________ C.J. Spiller-RB- Player Apr. 22 - 11:42 am et The Seahawks are "working the phones hard" in an attempt to find first-round trade partners, according to the Seattle Post-Intelligencer. GM John Schneider comes from a Packers organization that has built a contender over the past five years by trading down. "Everybody talks about 6 and 14, 6 and 14. And that's cool," Schneider said. "We may pick at 6 because we just want to. Or somebody may come to us with a deal we can't refuse and we may move back at 6." Source: Seattle Post-Intelligencer Related: Seahawks _________ Dan Williams-DL- Player Apr. 22 - 11:53 am et The National Football Post reports that the Dolphins do want to pick NT Dan Williams of Tennessee, but indicates that they'd only consider him after a trade down the draft board. Everyone wants to trade down, but it's easier said than done. Williams would be a good fit in Miami as a 3-4 nose tackle prospect. Considered a "one-year wonder" by some, however, the Fins may not envision him as a top-12 talent. Source: National Football Post Related: Dolphins ________ Bryan Bulaga-T- Player Apr. 22 - 11:56 am et Mike Lombardi of the National Football Post is "hearing" that Iowa OT Bryan Bulaga will not be a top-10 pick. Like Jimmy Clausen's, Bulaga's stock is falling at the absolute wrong time. Another recent report claimed some NFL evaluators consider him the most overrated prospect in this year's draft class. Lombardi does hear that Bulaga is "loved" by the Niners, and that Green Bay might trade up to select him. Source: National Football Post Related: Packers, 49ers ________ Earl Thomas-DB- Player Apr. 22 - 12:09 pm et ESPN's Michael Smith "keeps hearing" the Eagles want to trade "way up" in the first round. We're leery of the draft-day gossip reports, but the Eagles' interest in moving up is a persistent buzz. Trade possibilities include Denver at No. 11, Miami at No. 12, and San Francisco at No. 13. The Eagles could be targeting Texas S Earl Thomas. Source: Michael Smith on Twitter Related: Eagles _______ Darren McFadden-RB- Raiders Apr. 22 - 12:29 pm et Lions beat reporter Tom Kowalski believes that Detroit "would likely be very interested" if speculation about Darren McFadden being available for trade is true. Kowalski suggests the Lions offering their third-round pick (No. 66 overall, so very nearly a second-rounder) in exchange for the former No. 4 overall draft choice. Detroit is known to be interested in adding a speed back. To this point, Jim Schwartz's club has been heavily linked to Jahvid Best. Source: MLive.com Related: Lions _______ Eric Berry-DB- Player Apr. 22 - 12:35 pm et The Washington Post reports that the Redskins will "strongly consider" S Eric Berry of Tennessee with the No. 4 overall pick. The Post gives Berry a 60% chance of being the pick. The Skins reportedly see him as a "perfect fit" in their new defense and consider him "the most talented player in the draft regardless of position." Though Mike Shanahan's team has not ruled out a left tackle (clearly, the team's biggest need), a source familiar with the club's thinking claims that Berry "could be their guy." Source: Washington Post Related: Redskins ________ Linval Joseph-DL- Player Apr. 22 - 12:41 pm et Sources tell SI.com's Tony Pauline that East Carolina DT Linval Joseph is very much on the Chargers' radar at No. 28 overall. It's interesting to note that ex-NFL scout Daniel Jeremiah has Joseph going to San Diego in his latest mock draft. Pauline writes that Joseph will likely be the pick only if Ryan Mathews is off the board at No. 28, and the Bolts don't deem any corners worthy of the selection. Joseph, who goes 6'5" and 328 pounds, would likely play five-technique end in San Diego's 3-4. Source: TFY Draft Insider Related: Chargers ________ Rolando McClain-LB- Player Apr. 22 - 1:03 pm et Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News reiterated that the Giants are "leaning heavily" toward Rolando McClain at No. 15 overall. McClain will have to get past the Chiefs, Jags, and Broncos first, though the Giants could attempt to trade up. Some members of the front office "absolutely love" C.J. Spiller, and they're also interested in DE Jason Pierre-Paul, DE Derrick Morgan, CB Joe Haden, OG Mike Iupati, and OT Anthony Davis. We have no idea if there's truth to this clear-cut rumor. It would have to interest St. Louis, though, particularly if the Skins threw in Jason Campbell with the Rams perhaps adding in a late-round pick. Haynesworth remains a difference-making pass rusher, and Landry is not without top-10 or 15 safety talent. St. Louis would also have to be high on Jimmy Clausen.
