Free Agents we like for the 2025 Bills?
reddogblitz replied to Desert Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
In principle I agree with you, but do we trust Beane to get star quality defensive players which is what we are and have been missing? -

Yeah well I don't know how the salary cap works and don't want to know and don't think many people do. But I do see teams that are cap strapped somehow able to sign big money players. A few years ago I said I wanted Von Miller and got several responses such as yours and we all saw what happened. I want Tee. We'll see what happens. Go BILLS -
What am I going to get? I'd trade him for Myles Garrett or Cooper Kupp, but not or some mid round draft pick.

I want Tee Higgins real bad and I don't care how much I it costs. You get what you pay for. -
I watched a couple of Chargers game this year and saw MCConkey and figured him to be a wily veteran at first. Then I found out he was a rookie. Holy cow, why didn't we draft him? Gets open and catches the football. Just the kind of guy we need. Oh well.

Steelers approach Jags about a Trevor Lawrence Trade
reddogblitz replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't know about yall, but I love seeing teams like the Cheats and the Steelers taking a spin in QB purgatory. -
I remember reading about this a while back. The contract includes a provision that if a holographic replay system is ever invented, the city has to buy it for them.

Going at all is YUUUUUGE waste of taxpayer money. How is president Trump going to the Super Bowl not "unnecessary in the government"? Please explain. That's the standard as stated by Elon Musk. Same could be said of his multi million dollar trips to Florida ever weekend. I see these lists of all the waste they've found like $50,000 for this and 1.2 mil for that. Here's a big one. $20,000,000. Low hanging fruit if we were really serious about paying off the debt. And no, I'm not defending the deep state or anything. Just cut WASTE, fraud, and ABUSE wherever you fond it even if it's in the Oval Office.
-
$20,000,000 trips to the Super Bowl for President Trump and leaving at 1/2 time are unnecessary in the government. As aren't mega million dollar weekly trips to Florida. Come on man, walk the walk if you're really serious about this.

You gotta win big games to get to the big games.
-
Why weren't these requirements being followed in President Trump's 1st term or W's 2nd term?
-
To these mega billionaires enough is never enough. They need more always. He can't be satisfied to have the biggest company, it has to be bigger than the next 5 put together. And having President Trump in your back pocket helps. The other thing I think he's angling for is NASA to pay for his trip to Mars. I've heard President Trump talk about it a few times.

If Eli Manning can't get in there's no place for Fitz. -
Hard to beat the Chiefs and the refs every post-season
reddogblitz replied to ChronicAndKnuckles's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think the NBA is worse and MLB is 1000% better about this than the NFL. I used to love NBA basketball but quit watching it in 1993 from blatant favoritism of certain teams and players in the Jordon/Barkley era. I rarely watch NBA now if ever. Rarely do we hear of a MLB game being decided by bad ump calls. In 2023, they had a WS between the Texas Rangers and the Arizona Diamondbacks playing small ball. TV ratings were lower and they knew they would be but they didn't try to rig it to get Houston and Philly in. Not sure I could quit NFL football cuz my Dad, a great man, got me addicted to it so it would be hard to drop. NFL is starting to try my patience. -

Part of this IMHO is because the refs are too chummy with the players. They chit chat with the players, when a QB is sacked they help him up (this grates me), and they get talked into fouls. Refs should NEVER talk to players. If a players gets up complaining about a non flag they should get one for unsportsmanlike conduct. Wonder Boy would get some until he got used to it but so be it. That's what I liked about the scab officials, they were equal opportunity flaggers. -
Who said I trusted the ones that were there before? I especially don't trust Musk because I don't think he's doing it out of the goodness of his heart. It's to sell more rockets, get rid of the regulations against autonomous driving cars, sell more electricity storage systems, get as much attention as possible to feed his massive ego, and whatever else he can get. Why do you think I should trust him?
-
Musk and his crew.
-
Didn't think you could. I specifically said I don't trust them (USAID). Read much? And I'm not a Dem. You people just sucking along to whatever President Trump is doing no matter how outrageous are just the other side of the coin of people saying President Biden was mentally fit for office.
-
Can you send me some links? I was told we were going to have weekly zooms to let us know what they're doing.. Articles in the newspaper isn't transparency. I don't really give a darn about USAID. it's the methodology or lack thereof that concerns me. Not saying I trust USAID, but why should I trust these people?
-
When is all this transparency we heard about going to start? Sending out a tweet about worms isn't transparency.

Come on man. This is just silly. The Palestinians are going to just leave? They're gonna go to Jordon and Egypt? Jordon and Egypt presently won't take them for the same reasons we don't want to. Then we're going to build beautiful neighborhoods with beautiful houses where people can be happy and live beautiful lives. And, America First anyone? We have devastated areas in our country. Why not work on leveling those areas and build beautiful neighborhoods with beautiful houses where people can be happy and live beautiful lives in America? Places like California from the fire and the east coast by hurricanes, and Hawaii. Hopefully President Trump has a genius plan that will get a great deal out of this. We can't just blow it off cuz he's nutty enough to try to pull it off like Bush and Iraq.

Maybe we should copy the Seahawks old approach?
reddogblitz replied to SoonerBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Legion of Doom also held on every play and challenged the refs to call a penalty on every play which of course they were not going to do.
