  1. Same here. I've had him the last 2 or 3 years. If this turns out to be true, The Mighty Malamutes will be getting a new kicker next year. Hopefully I can get Bass.
  2. Nobody lies like a NFL GM. He ain't gonna tell you what he's gonna do and tip his hand. If anything, he's gonna tell he's doing one thing and then do another like signing Von Miller for example. We'll just have to wait to see what he does unless Terry fires him first.
  3. No crap. With all the video/audio equipment they have these days why can't we hear the questions? For a while I tried to crank the volume up when it came to a question and turn it back down. PITA. Then I turned on closed caption for a few minutes, then said ***** it and quit watching. It sounded like maybe they had a Mic for questioners since it got really loud when the dude started coughing.
  4. This is a little misleading. I looked up the annual snow fall in Juneau and what they're seeing is not unusual. https://www.currentresults.com/Weather/Alaska/Places/juneau-snowfall-totals-snow-accumulation-averages.php
  5. I saw Philip Seymour Hoffman play Willie Loman on Broadway.
  6. This is what I think. When we do throw backs, instead of just putting a standing buffalo sticker on the helmet, do full on 90s red helmet throw backs. Would be sweet.
  7. The same Josh that said the other day he thinks Coach McDermott a great coach who is underrated? That Josh you mean? Wake up man. You're dreaming.
  8. How about Doing Pederson? Had a rough go in Jax but did beat Bill Bellyache and Tommy in a SB with his backup QB. Is Chucky still suspended or something? Maybe him.
  9. I played on the Seahawks Drumline in 2005 and we got to go to the game. Super Bowl XL to me takes the cake. The NFL just wanted The Bus to retire winning the SB in his hometown. What a great story! The referee calls were so bad. Even John Madden couldn't believe it. The one where Tommy won it with the Bucs was really bad too. Also the one where the Rams beat the Bengals at home in their brand new fancy stadium had some bad calls to like a PI late in the game as the Rams were moving in for the go ahead score. Not sure if refs were involved or whatever but Super Bowl III always seemed squarely to me. I remember my Dad's friends talking about it.
  10. True. But it's not just us. Happened to a lot of teams this year like the kicker that kicked a low knuckle ball for the go ahead FG and it was blocked. I think its a sports psychology thing. Teams start well and maybe even get ahead and then nut up at the end and lose. I grew up in Dallas as a Cowboy fan until JJ came along. My Dad got me a job selling programs and went to and watched every game. Teams would come in and play tough until the 4th quarter when Roger and the guys would score late and win. I'm sure the 90s Bills won games like this too. We're nutting up late against the Chiefs from Coach McDermott on down to the water boy. I think we should hire a sports psychologist to work with Coach McDermott and the guys if we don't have one already.
  11. Make a trade with Cleveland for Schwartz.
  12. Jets have a 14 year drought going and need fans. Getting to the AFC Championship and losing by 3 on the road to a historical good team with a little help from their friends is infinitely better than being out of it by Thanksgiving and rooting for random teams on the playoffs. Stop and smell the wins. If I was a player I'd have hope for x,000,000 reasons.
  13. Yeah, but will he catch the football? History tells us there's A good chance he won't..
  14. Cooper performed well on the rare occasions Josh threw him the football. Sunday he had 4 passes thrown to him and caught all 4 for 33 yards. We just need more and also maybe some longer passes. I hope we re sign him.
  15. I was not a Buffalo fan back then, Don Meredith was my guy. And I remember more of Jack's political career (he wanted to go back to the gold standard) than his football career. But I agree with you. QBs job is to win. Not put up fancy passing stats and scoring the most rushing yards or passing yards blah blah blah. He touches the football on every play and has the greatest impact. He gets paid the most money. He has to be the team leader and get it done some way some how. Josh I believe is a good leader but in the last 2 playoffs games he had the football down 3 with 2:00 to play. I know its not ALL on him but a lot of it is. He'll never be considered the best until he does. Trent Dilfer is often laughed at around here but he got it done in large part due to leadership. When he got to Baltimore mid season Baltimore was doing the whole "everybody eats" thing like us. He said no, he wasn't going to do it. He's gonna throw it to whoever is open. The offense improved and the rest is history. Just win baby. As far as Jack's completion percentage goes, it was a different game back then. Teams were playing bump and run. Roughing the passer penalties were almost non existent. Warren Wells was playing for Oakland. Getting up whining for a flag was considered weak. Today's guys would know how to handle it.
  16. I've been a fan since 1996 (without 15% added on or taken off). Jim Kelly's last season followed by Todd Collins and Flutie and then THE DROUGHT. You people that have been fans for 50+ years had the whole 90s thing with 4 conference championships. I don't feel sorry for you. 🙂
  17. What reminded me of the Houston game was the odd behavior of the refs. Taking away a TD from us because the Houston guy didn't know the rules. And in this game, one ref running in marking short and one running in marking long. A go to commercial review and then saying he was short. No measurement.
  18. But lets add more games and more playoff teams with 9-8 records.
  19. I was at that Vikings game and it DID cost us the game.
  20. If it were me I'd work out a trade with Cleveland for Schwartz.
  21. I watched the last 2. They were dogs. Players didn't want to be there. Some starters didn't play. I say not.
  22. In the 1st quarter my wife states, "Ought Oh, Josh has the deer in the headlight look.". He did.
  23. Maybe he did when we sacked Kermit on 3rd and long before they kicked the go ahead FG? I would say on the last drive or 2 when Spags was totally sagged in to stop the run and we didn't go to play action for some throws downfield was a coaching choke.
  24. Marone'll be HC by this time next year.
