  1. Russ' strength is evading pressure and hitting a guy in the hands long. When he was in Seattle they called the play in the huddle and practiced it in practice. He can't throw over the middle cuz he's too short and can't see over the DLine. Yet Coach Hackett and now Coach Payton have tried to shoehorn him into dink 'n dunk offense with bad results. If you want Russ to be successful on your team, have a good run game. Get him on some roll outs. Practice and then call the scramble drill once every 6 or 7 plays.
  2. Not sure but I do know of a team that benched their starter going into the playoffs.
  3. I don't blame 'em. When it's a league game you play to win especially in a division game. Let the draft chips fall where they may.
  4. Or James Cook catches a for sure TD pass that hit him in the hands.
  5. You know, you made a good point and provided good data to back it up. Bravo. But, why be an a$$h0le about it? it doesn't further your point, none was needed. Really, it just makes you look like a jerk.
  6. Chesty Balloontits? That's a good one. I always love it when women objectify and criticize another woman's breasts. I thought only men did that and it was sexist and gross. Well, not really. Makes me think someone who would share this comment has some issues with women's breasts.
  7. This remains my favorite Jason Peters highlight from his time in Buffalo. (Click Watch on YouTube to see it. It's worth it.)
  8. The party that nominates a somewhat reasonable candidate under the age of 65 will win in a landslide.
  9. Very cool. Sitting in with The President's Own is a high honor. As a holocaust survivor it is Well deserved. And he plays really well to boot. Good job Saul. Next time you need a holocaust survivor drummer for your band, better call Saul.
  10. I can't really speak to crown at The Ralph but had been on the field at Texas Stadium many times. It was dramatic and a real thing. I would definitely affect a QB throwing passes out there to the sidelines if he wasn't used to it. I remember when they had the last game at Texas Stadium against the Ravens, Joe Flacco and some of the guys were commenting about it. Seattle doesn't have one. When football announcers started using the term "run downhill" I thought they meant running a sweep to actually run downhill to get more speed. Now I realize that's not what they mean so when they use it I yell at the TV "he's not running down, the field is flat, moron". Jocks. 🤗
  11. I've been saying for weeks if we miss the playoffs we can talk offense/defense/Dorsey/Brady/McDermott til we're blue in the face but it will be because of the 2 losses lost by kicking teams. 12 men on the field and the punt return for a TD in OT in the Jets game.
  12. I thought it was cool. Is there some kind of a problem with it?
  13. Have all the receivers on one side running down to the EZ. Have one break off and cut to the center of the field at about the 20. Josh hits him in stride. All the receivers in the EZ block the defenders so they can't tackle the man with the ball. I was at the game in 2018 when the crafty Nathan Peterman tried to run with it. That didn't work. Always figured he tried to run it cuz he couldn't throw it that far.
  14. He drops too many passes so let him go. I'm hoping Beane makes another trade with Minnesota or somebody of a 1st round pick for another stud WR like Diggs. Or sign a top notch dude in FA or draft a really good one that can produce as a rookie. I have no idea on the money part. I'm just a football fan, not an accounting fan.
  15. 2 games in a row Josh has missed a wide open Gabe to go up by a TD vs a FG. Gabe even went for the post this time. More miscommunication? Maybe Josh guessed wrong on where he's supposed to be? Yeah he might have dropped it but there was ZERO chance for a completion on the pass Josh threw. Need to clean this up Joe.
  16. Al has been criticizing the officials too much. Goodell put the word to NBC, he's gotta go.
  17. Bill Maher had a great line about this war in his show Friday night. We thought it was going turn into World War III but it turned into WWI.
  18. She is too much of a war monger for my taste.
  19. Where I live, Washington state, gas is $4.59 per gallon. 60% higher than Texas. One of the reasons for that is we have cap and trade. So oil companies have to buy carbon credits. Those are of course passed down to us connsumers. We also pay $0.68 per gallon in taxes. https://www.krem.com/article/news/verify/washington-high-gas-prices-cap-and-invest-verify/293-613d4f85-f8b9-4f03-af84-bd696a5ab545
  20. Looked to me like Kelce was not right the whole game. Going down after catching a pass instead of running over a DB or LB. He came out of the game several times. He looked dazed and confused on the sidelines.
  21. I find this interesting. A few years ago I remember cultural appropriation was bad. Now it seems to be cool.
