  1. Obviously a fellow Bill Maher watcher. Obviously does not watch Bill Maher
  2. Depends on what gets cut. If as is rumored, the VA health system is gutted then no. Privatizing or something to that effect to the national parks would be a no. Securing the border would be great. Some modicum of peace in the middle east too would be great. I would agree that these types of programs should be cut. But we're talking 2 mil for both programs. That's 4 or 5 hours operating Air Force One. Stopping every weekend trips to Florida would save a few billion. It's low hanging fruit. If we're serious about cutting waste, A billion here, a billion there, pretty soon, you're talking real money. I think your compromise would be fair.
  3. Because I was at the game. Bills are 1-0 in games I've been to this season.
  4. Yeah I don't get the knock on Coach McDermott being a too conservative coach. He's a big go for it on 4th down guy. I even recall him going for it on 4th and 18 in a playoff game one time.
  5. I saw 2 guys yesterday making the case for more plying time and targets. Dawson and Samuel.
  6. I have 2 coaching observations about Buffalo out coaching KC. 1. Why only 14 runs for Hunt? When you go against a team bad at run D, you run it until they can stop it if they can. Or at least give them a heavy dose. I believe they beat us a couple of years ago doing just that. I kept expecting them to start doing it especially in the 2nd half but they never did. He was getting 4.29 A pop but only 14 carries and only 17 to all backs. A demerit for KC coaching. 2. Our D was amazing. Pat sacked twice and picked twice. He was running for his life. Usually he gets a little heat on him and h runs around and buys ample time or takes off running into an empty field. That was taken away. One play I believe on the last drive he dropped back and the heat was coming on so he looked over to his left to his dump off guy and he was covered so he had to run to his right and was either sacked or threw an incompletion. We were prepared for Pat's nonsense. A huge plus for Buffalo coaching.
  7. It IS on TV so I would say the odds are high they are stunt tables.
  8. Yeah, that's pretty funny I guess. Does it bother anyone else that the Presidents of America abuse Air Force One regularly? The tax payer s are funding weekly trips to Florida. And its not just President Trump. President Biden went back and forth to Delaware regular well. And Jill Biden flew it from Europe to the US and back to attend Hunter Biden's trial. The taxpayers provide it for official business, not as a personal taxi based on his/her whim. If the President needs a little time off to relax etc, that's what Camp David is for and its only 65 miles away. To the Bidens credit, they weren't elected as budget cutters. Trump says he is. So put a little skin in the game and stay put in DC and save us tax payers a billion or 2 or or 3 or its the government so probably easily 10 times that.
  9. I have an idea on how President Trump could save us citizens a lot of money. Instead of flying Air Force One to Florida every weekend, just cool his jets (pun intended) at The White House. Everything he could possibly need is there. He could practice his golf game on the fancy golf simulator he put in last time. He could bowl a few lines at the on site bowling alley. He could jog on Bill Clinton's jogging track. It costs $200,000 per hour to operate. So at 8 hours flying time per trip times 52 times a year for 4 years comes to round$350,000,000.00. That's just to operate the jet. Throw in secret service hours, runway fees, food, etc and we're probably talking over $1,000,000,000.00. That be a nice chunk of change to cut. See if Elon and Vivek recommend this. https://www.twz.com/45066/here-is-what-the-vc-25a-air-force-one-jets-now-cost-per-hour-to-fly
  10. I thought President elect Trump had reached the bottom of the barrel yesterday when he pulled out Noem and The Huckster. BUT no, he's got a YUUUUUUGE barrel that goes even deeper.
  11. How come Joe's burning carbon in the White House? I thought he was a green guy.
  12. Well, VP Harris got to keep the money so ...
  13. Cool. Will you and your buds shoot Republicans from the hill top first, or just leave?
  14. Don't forget the Supreme Court.
  15. Don't forget @Joe Ferguson forever is moving to Portugal. I wonder how the packing is coming along?
  16. Please don't do what college does. Seems they review everything and they take 2-3 minutes to decide anything. I find college games hard to watch due to this. If the replay refs can't figure it out in 30 seconds or less, obviously its not clear and obvious so go with the call on the field and keep The game moving. Also please do not get a geeked out with GPS chips on the football and players etc. Come on it's football, not a video game or something. The answer IMHO is to simplify the rules. Catch the football and take 3 steps and its a catch regardless if he makes a "football move" whatever that is. If a guy has possession of the football getting 2 feet in bounds, its a catch regardless if he "maintains possession throughout the process of the catch". Take out all the subjectivity. Too much of that. If holding can be called on every play, either call it on every play or change the rules to make the call more obvious and such that it doesn't happen on every play. The fact that they won't do this makes me wonder they don't want to so they can have the subjectivity to control the outcome if needed. With gambling becoming a league sponsored activity it makes me more suspicious of that.
  17. I don't have to wonder. Like most things they do, it was all politics.
  18. They tried this with Air America but it died on the vine. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Air_America_(radio_network)
  19. Probably, like Hillary in 2016, too drunk to speak.
  20. That was the only reason they ran her. She got to keep the money. As a dearly departed high school friend of mine used to say, "money talks and bull ***** walks". Didn't really understand it at the time but he has been proven to be right as I've gotten older time and time again.
  21. Worked with Tom Landry. He got to the SB with 2 different QBs and made the playoffs with 4 different ones. Granted he cheated but Bill Bellyache did pretty well with his QB. Mary Levy and John Harbaugh were both kicking teams coordinators. They seemed to do OK with their QBs. I think the offensive/defensive coach thing is over rated. How can you possibly be a good offensive coordinator without an intimate knowledge of defense and vice versa? You need a great Head Coach. Someone who can hire the right assistants, evaluate players, get the team psychologically ready to play, and make wise in game decisions.
  22. I know a lot of people are high on this guy but I'm not as certain. Granted he has run a great offense in Detroit. But would he be a good Head Coach? There is some overlap but its a different skill set. And he has a stacked roster in Detroit with Goff, Gibbs, Montgomery, and LaPorta among others. probably wont have that anywhere else he may land.
