I could not disagree more. Josh is a gamer, but he is also inaccurate at times and left to his own devices,a turn over machine. we're trying to win. Would be dumb to waste a really good D and favorable schedule so Josh can throw the ball all over yard just to see what he's got. I hope to see more games like today from our offense resulting in more wins. As did yours LOL

yes and no. they already had Michael Irvin. About 1/2 the OLine was already there (Tuinei and The Kitchen). They inherited the first pick in the 1989 draft and took Troy. Really the Cowboys tanked or were really bad resulting high picks in 1988 (pre JJ) and 1989. And this was pre Free Agency as we now know it. Unrestricted Free Agency began in 1992.

Doomed is a little extreme. The 2017 team, although no mentioned, was not doomed. I remember 2008 and 2011 very well. I also remember thinking at the time we had finally found our QB and coach and the future is bright. Like now. I'm gonna just take it week by week and see how it plays out.
