  1. Was thinking this as well...Exorcist came out in 1973, which means he was in his mid-40s when he did the movie. I thought he looked like a fossil then!
  2. Started as a Raider fan in 1968...they were always on TV, more so than the Bills because of home blackouts, and I was a huge Mad Bomber fan. Chiefs beat Raiders to go to Super Bowl IV, I rooted hard for the Vikings to beat Chiefs only to see them go down to defeat...feel in love with the Purple Gang after that. And then, on September 30, 1973, went to the first regular season game at Rich...the rest, as they say, is history.
  3. This is an emerging trend and very appealing...can the NFL, or eBay for that matter, crack down on this?
  4. This game has been dissected more than a frog in a seventh grade science class...yes, time to move on.
  5. Preston Ridlehuber (sp?) The silver helmet gave it away.
  6. Forgot about this one, it really was excellent.
  7. I feel the same way. "Requiem for the Big East" is a great one and I really liked "Catholics vs. Convicts"...the whole story on how that guy hustled the t-shirts was very entertaining.
  8. I liked "Survive and Advance" about the NC State, Jimmy V championship team, and the one on the Baltimore Colts band.
  9. Jeez, for having over 7000 posts, you haven't been around here too long have you?
  10. “I talked to Ralph Wilson the night before and he told me, ‘You’re going to come back and be our starting quarterback,’ ” Lamonica says. “And eight hours later I was traded. I was absolutely devastated.” Yet another example, Ralph is cheap.
  11. The Arizona game will be in London.
  12. How come Foreigner can't get even a whiff of the HOF?
  13. That's why I think it will be the Arizona game that goes to London.
  14. "Foodie"
  15. In a game with a bucket full of big plays, I'm now convinced the Knox whiff was the death nail.
  16. Thanks for this clip...I'm even more depressed. Knox makes this block and JA is at least down to the 30. UGH!
  17. I know all reviews in OT come from the booth, but a Bills timeout here could have had the zebras upstairs look at this play a little more closely. Delay of game can be reviewed.
  18. Look at this season's 8-8 Bears team...12-4 a year before with a relatively soft schedule and a QB on the rise (sound familiar?). The 2020 schedule is a death march compared to this past season. Four trips out west and another to Nashville. Long way to go until September, but going 10-6 next year will be a bit more difficult.
  19. First and ten at the Houston 42 in OT. Failing to gain even 5 or 6 yards here is inexcusable. From then on, the proverbial poop hit a really big fan.
  20. Was actually Jerry Seinfeld...
