I say let Shady and Karlos run wild. When they think we are going to keep pounding the rock, and bring a safety up in the box, go over the top to one our receivers. This is what our team is good at and it is a solid plan to do what we are good at. NE is not anywhere near as good at stopping the run as they are made out to be. Most teams dig a hole too big to run the ball and end up abandoning the run by the second half. The fact that running the ball uses more clock is not a bad thing at all. More importantly, the Bills need to be diverse. We need success in both the run and the pass. Special teams can also improve our chances. If we want to see the Pats* fall the defense will also need to slow them down. Winning isn't going to come from one aspect of the game but many.

Just noticed Colts won. True, but all conference games are big just in case the Steelers slip up. And beating the Patriots would be huge for this team. Beat them and keep the Bills rolling....that would be a big boost going into the playoffs. We don't want to slip into the playoffs we want to bust through so it feels like nobody can stop us. Raiders, Jets and Dolphins fall. We have 4 conference games left against Patriots, Chiefs, Texans and Jets. Need to make the most of them. Man this NE game is shaping up to be a big one right along with the Chiefs game. AFC south may end up with division winner with a losing overall record. Crazy.

It would be cool if the Bills pound the crap outta NE so much that their injury situation hits critical mass. They beat these cheaters down so bad that they can't get another win for the rest of the season. Then we win out....win the division and the Jets/KC/Oak overtake the Pats* keeping them out of the playoffs. Hey I can dream, right? Karma has to be in our favor after this many years without a playoff berth.

Edelman is their #1 WR. That's a pretty big loss. After seeing the Giants nearly win that game, I think we have a legit shot. Amandola and Gronk will have to take on a bigger role but they now have fewer options. This could be the game they lose. Our defense seems to be getting better and the offense scored a lot of points last time they played. Could get interesting. Get that run game clicking and this could get real interesting.

Buffalo has a talented defensive line. We saw it not only last year but the year before. The defensive linemen only had one gap assignment to attack. This year everyone is responsible for 2 gaps. What this does is improve the run D. What it doesn't do is allow these attacking defensive linemen to attack the QB. Sorry, but the this scheme sucks. You have some of the best one gap defensive linemen in the league and you then tell them to cover 2 gaps. To make matters even worse, you ask these guys to drop back into coverage. These are scary guys when they are coming at you. For QBs, it's a humongous relief when they are running away from you and dropping into coverage. Stupidest scheme I've ever seen.

We also know Chan. He likes his spread offense. That is going to be a big problem against our DL. Most team keep 5-7 guys in to block our DL. There is a reason too that Rex's defense always made Fitz/Gailey look bad. Rex likes to send more rushers than an offense has blockers. As long as the offense can't account for all of them, somebody will get to Fitz. Gailey and Fitz like to take chances with that spread. They know that they will not have enough blockers, but they also know they will have more matchups that they like. Game of chicken. The trouble is, Buffalo has a group of DLmen that will be salivating at all of the 1 on 1 matchups. Darius, Williams will not be seeing as many double teams. This could get real ugly for the Jets. If Mangold is out, plus with Fitz's thumb issue that could actually happen.

Every time Tannehill tries to go deep, he should be knocked on his back. This is as weak of an offensive line the Bills will face for the rest of the season.

Bills brain trust needs to let our all pro defensive line do what it does best.....pin ears back and get after the QB/Ball carrier. I cringe every time I see Mario Williams and Kyle Williams dropping into coverage. These guys are built to instill fear into opposing QBs. That can't be done when they are running away from the QB. Seesh!
