  1. That QB looked pretty good too. If there was a draft to find some diamonds in the rough, this is it. That Parker seemed to have all of the skills you look for in a TE. Blocks, good hands and runs good after the catch.
  2. That's why I like this Marpet kid. He can play any position on the line. There is risk with him because he is from a D-III program, but man, have you seem how he has done at the combine? He is at the top in nearly every catagory. 225lbs, 30 reps. Fast 40 and shuttle. Plus he is dominating in the positional drills. High risk/reward but I think worth the risk. Also, since he can play any position including center, he is going to be highly sought after in the draft. Might be the perfect pick in the second even if we do have to hear all of the complaining over D-III stuff. Fred was D-III, doesn't mean he can't play though.
  3. Highest red zone success rate. Big back. Hmm.....
  4. Or, maybe neither one of them will be rated that high in the draft.
  5. Interesting idea, really. I don't see where this really helps EJ's case much, though. Now if Rex can get him to actually use his legs more, maybe. I also think EJ can be pretty good at passing with some time in the pocket and some designed rollouts.
  6. Sorry, not feeling it for either Mariota or Winston. They both should be far from the top pick. Can we say BUST?
  7. It's a good article and not a public slogan. Just how they interact within the organization together.
  8. Could play guard in the mean time. That's what Wood did.
  9. EJ does not have a problem reading defenses. I hear that a lot around here. When you watch his games from last year, you can see that he was waiting for his guy to be wide open and throwing too late. That's what you do when you have a coach always harping on you about playing safe. Frankly, EJ just needs to let it rip. Let this new coaching staff work with him. The kid has accuracy and he does know how to read a defense. His biggest issue is just settling down and playing ball...something he was never really given a chance to do. He hasn't even played 3/4 of a full season consecutively. The only thing we don't know is how good he can really be. And the only way to know that is to let him play. I do think though, that Cassel is going to push him. That's a good thing.
  10. That's exactly why I posted it. And because I think Buffalo may be more inclined this year to try running in these situations. Last year, it seemed we would pass on 3rd and 1 more often and inevitably fail. Frustrating as hell when Fred was always good for 2.
  11. This is pretty spot on. There are also some OLmen on the roster that aren't listed here. Someone may surprise this year. The Mario restructure is being saved for the signing of Marcel.
  12. I think the addition of Felton, Clay and Icognito help to make the OL look better. OLmen are not the only ones that can block.
  13. I think Incognito plays where Pears played last year at RG. And the current plan is that Williams comes back healthy and plays LG. Urbik would be back up for the two.
  14. If not for injury, probowl good. Funny how people get something in their head and then just can't change their mind. The secondary this past year was playing at a very high level and McKelvin was very much a part of that. The whole can't track the ball crap floated around here was squashed when he was leading the team with 4 interceptions just before he got injured. But his struggles his 1st couple yrs is all anyone can remember.
  15. And the conversion rate?
  16. I knew the title would get a rise out of someone.
  17. According to ROTOWorld, there's still some guards and tackles in FA market. Problem is the Bills don't have much cap space left. Wonder if the restructuring of Cassel's contract is about this or resigning Spikes or what?
  18. Pegula could also have a bit of knowledge about where Buffalo is trending. I visited Pittsburgh a couple of times in the recent past and was amazed by the city's renaissance. There are thousands of homes on hillsides there that belonged to people in the steel industry. When jobs left many of those homes were vacant, but new businesses have moved in. Young people have been buying those homes and fixing them up. That city is now a thriving metropolis again. Buffalo shares some similarities. I think the area is trending upward.
  19. Decisions by committee....good stuff.
  20. 3 biggest markets in North America.....NY, LA and Toronto. Not about moving the Bills. I thought it was interesting about the fans in Toronto. Said there were mostly Bills fans in Ontario just across the boarder but in Toronto it's mostly a mixed bag. If they got together on a Toronto team, it could be big. And you were 1st. Shoot!
  21. http://blogs.canoe.ca/krykslants/nfl/exclusive-bills-owner-terry-pegula-not-opposed-to-nfl-franchise-in-toronto/ Not a bad write up. Don't kill the messenger. At least have the decency to read it 1st.
