  1. Orton came EJs second year, and only after EJ looked horrible in camp. No coach was benching Josh, at least any smart ones
  2. I looked it up and sure enough he fell off after the first half of the season. First 8 games 18 TDs, 7 INTs, 11 sacks. Games 9-16 11Tds and 7 Picks, 18 sacks. Not a huge drop, but noticeable
  3. The Miami game at the end of the year showed he’s just isn’t there yet. Dude coaches a good offense but that team didn’t look confident going into that game. The week before the had a chance to get the number one seed in Baltimore and not only did they lose, but they got embarrassed. Dude can’t close. If they can’t win the division when they had a 3 game lead with 5 to go, they aren’t going to win anything
  4. Also Flores took over a team that was built to tank. His record is much more impressive
  5. Flores last two years he was 10-6 and 9-8 McDaniels is 9-8 and 11-6 dude added Tyreek hill, and won one more game over two years.
  6. I would say most are good talent evaluators, but they also have so many other responsibilities that they need to rely on a good staff to build a good draft board
  7. If Denver didn’t just draft Bo Nix, I’d guess they’d be pretty interested. Tua in that offense would be a good fit. Only issue is that it’s cold in Denver Fun fact, McDaniels and Brian Flores have the same win pct over the last 4 years
  8. Mostly the helmet they wear
  9. If Penix had lasted until Miami…
  10. I've seen Houston as a SB contender and that is laughable IMO. They wayyyyyy overachieved last season and I expect them to struggle this year
  11. Youre kidding right? Rodgers has been seen as an elite QB his entire career.
  12. Hackett wasn’t calling plays. He was an OC in name only. Looking good while Aaron Rodgers is your QB is not difficult He was hired in Denver because they wanted to trade for Rodgers. He was hired with the Jets because they wanted to trade for Rodgers. After one year, the Jets wanted to move on but can’t because of… Rodgers. Once Rodgers is done in the NFL, I suspect Hackett will be too
  13. Bears actually have a pretty solid Roster. They are a team that could be seen as a Qb away from being pretty good. Caleb Williams has a chance to step into a great situation
  14. we cycle through the different ones depending on whats out. We also have Disney+ (kids) but then either hulu or netflix depending on what were interested in
  15. I think he may have screwed himself by spurning Washington. Lots of not great banter came out after that. Reminded me of when Josh Daniels spurned the colts. Shocked he got another offer after that
  16. If it gets chilly earlier in the midwest, that could be a rough game for Tua
  17. (nfl.com)https://www.nfl.com/videos/can-t-miss-play-gilliam-s-hit-stick-tackle-forces-opening-kickoff-turnover-by-gi
  18. So the whole country can talk about our WRs I assume
  19. I should make every combo possible and send it
  20. I’m not sure they even make the playoffs. Bills and Dolphins should at least split with the Jets if not sweep them. AFC is loaded too Bills Bengals Chiefs Texans Ravens Browns Steelers Colts Jags All these teams are legit playoff contenders. Colts nearly made it with Gardner Minshew last year. The Jets coaching is awful. Hackett is horrible and Salah hasn’t proven anything besides he can coach a good defense that has also been absolutely shredded at times. I see the Jets as a fringe playoff team and coaching is their biggest hurdle. Can Hackett be out of the way enough to not be an issue? Is Rodgers going to be good at 40 when he is mulling his next career? The jets have more hype than they should
  21. https://sny.tv/articles/jets-mailbag-confidence-level-nathanial-hackett Hell of an organization they got there “But then there’s Hackett. The Jets made legitimate attempts this offseason to hire someone who would, essentially, replace Hackett. Not as a new offensive coordinator, but a title above who would run the show. The Jets had enough things they needed to address this offseason without replacing areas they’re content with. That pursuit tells me, internally, there are legitimate concerns with Hackett’s ability to successfully run things.”
