    We had to put my dog down after 15 years 3 years ago or so. Seriously one of the worst days of my life. He was a good pup and just one day it was apparent he was dying and we had to let him go. Its like losing a brother. Just awful

    Nix is actually very good at finding guys on the scrap heap that have contributed. Nelson, Urbik, Jones, Rhindhart were all undrafted/cut players that have played well for us in the past. Kyle Moore is another example.

    I dont doubt Geno is the 23rd best player (which may be how they are ranking this draft, purely on rank) But youre right, with the premium on QBs, Geno doesn't make it past the Jets at 9

    Back to OT. Calling someones wife, a former teammate no less, ugly, is bad judgement at its finest and a low blow. Shes not my type but I know plenty of people who are married to or dating someone I cant sit in a room alone with. But if they are happy, good for them

    If your going to pass on the QB at 8 you should trade up to get him, not back. I would hate that we trade back to pick up an extra late second round pick and have the Jets draft (insert pro bowl player here) because we wanted another backup corner

    Last time I heard about Nelson he still isnt running at all. His injury may be worse than we thought

    Personally I think he is a better playmaker than weve given a chance to show. He had a nice kick return TD against miami IIRC. For what were paying (which isn't much) he has potential to be a good player. Considering we have no one else at that position, i vote we keep him

    I dont see a huge value in letting him go. IF we let him go we have no experienced players at WR besides stevie. Thats not a great place to be. Sign a guy first, then release him if you need the cap space. But as other have mentioned, we have plenty to operate right now
