    Manny Lawson and Bradham are both capable starters. Sheppard has some talent that Pettine could work with. I just don't see spikes as an upgrade at age 36. I'd rather use that cap space to work on Byrd or perhaps extending eric wood

    USED TO let talent walk. Levitre is the only player in the last few years where I felt we lost out. Johnson, Freddy, Byrd, Mckelvin, Kyle Williams have all been retained since Buddy arrived. Gone are the days we let our first round picks go for nothing

    As with every season I feel we finally won't suck this year. Marrone seems like a no nonsense guy and is trying to instill a new attitude. I hope it works..... finally.

    No I went to a Catholic high school and the class was prayer and meditation. It was actually really nice if you had it first thing in the morning (we had a rotating schedule) Relaxed you for the whole day

    Its been my feeling on Geno too. He worries me a bit and I would really hesitate to take him high. Barkley is a safer choice IMO

    Was their something in his special teams ability last season that makes you think he's worth it? He had one sucessful fake punt but he also gave up a blocked punt. He hasn't really shown much ability as a blocker or receiver. I just don't see it. Tebow, you either build your system around him or he's not on your roster. He isn't a part time player

    This^ I'm not losing sleep over Donald Jones and David Nelson. Nelson was a fine player, but he wasn't fast to begin with, how will he be with a bum knee (and no hot girlfriend) and Jones just broke his ankle again while I was typing this. The OP seems to forget we retained Byrd, McLovin and Stevie. All of whom would have gone to other teams and been paid, well.

    If this was Madden I would have already done that deal. But with the salary cap and helping a division rival, Not a huge fan of this Having multiple shutdown corners and a good pass rush means very little in todays NFL. Ask the Eagles how having DRC, Asmough and Samual worked out? Teams targeted their LBs and ran right down their throats

    Ellerbe was a big one for me. The guy has played half a season full time and hes worth 7 million? Mike Wallace is another one, Good player, wasn't even the best reciever on his team last year

    At this point in his career, he has more value to us than a 6th or 7th round pick does. I see what your saying, with regards to backups being a dime a dozen, but we got a damn good one. A 6th rounder doesnt make us that much better

    Rex should not be calling shots. Jabba is a lame duck coach who still has a job because the GM wasn't allowed to fire him. If he is dictating they Jets can't trade Revis, the Jets are in worse shape than we thought
