In hindsight, with the lockout year and uncertainty as to who teams were going to trot out at QB after the lockout, teams had to get a guy, somebody, anybody to start just in case. FA hadn't happened yet

Mayock is usually pretty good. Theres a guy in Texas that does a good job. But guys like Kiper and especially McShay are just talking heads There was an article a few years ago basically saying that whatever McShay says, do the opposite according to many GMs haha

This wouldnt happen for so many reasons. First off, Buddy isnt perfect but hes not clueless. You dont trade your best player within the Division. You just dont. If we are worried about Byrd contract demands, there is no way he will fit in with the Jets plans. The have 8 million, 5 million and 12 million tied to Sanchez, Holmes and Revis respectively. The Jets are putting Rex Ryan out there as a sacrificial lamb to year one of their rebuild. He is going to get no help whatsoever, including getting one of the top young safeties in the game And create a huge hole at safety

I doubt it. The new GM is setting Rex up to fail on purpose. No way he throws a prized rookie into the sinking ship. Jets will rebuild their lines and Defense. I see Eddie Lacy as an option for the Jets now. The have no RB worth a damn

After the draft Buddy said they had several guys with TJ's skill set they wanted to draft and TJ was the last one. So they made a move and got him. Ya we passed on Wilson. My username is Captain Hindsight and I'm ready to move on

I really really really doubt that they take a QB this year. With Sanchez guaranteed 8 mil and Rex Ryan a lame duck coach who just had his favorite player traded. They will fire Rex at years end, Idjeck (sp) is just waiting to fire him, hire his own coach, and with that coach he will pick his QB. If the Jets take a QB before the 4th round, I'll be very surprised.
