  1. Even if they had, they have had a ton of success lately and Mike Brown kept a lesser coach (Marvin Lewis) for 16 years Ironically, Lewis is the assistant HC in Vegas. Could see him getting an interim gig if they do move on from Pierce
  2. Dallas gets blown out way to often for my liking. I also think the talent on that team is way overhyped. Dak isnt a bad QB, but he isnt the needle mover that the media makes him out to be
  3. Pierce for sure. That has not gone well at all. Zac Taylor is probably safe. His DC on the other hand....
  4. Well he’s coaching in NE now and they suck, so doubtful
  5. What’s wild is they fired AVP, who helped get Joe Flacco to the playoffs
  6. Don’tcha know, teams are just lining up to trade for oft injured LBs who used to be good
  7. Hack “choose to stay” despite having no responsibilities anymore Hes Just gonna laugh at Rodgers jokes until he gets fired
  8. Hackett in his performance review
  9. Salah was not fired over a flag. He was fired because his team was undisciplined, under performing, and he wanted to fire golden boy’s favorite friend. This is 100% what happened and it’s why Ulbrich will ultimately choose to have Hackett keep making play calls. Can’t piss of the franchise!
  10. What specifically does Gore Jr bring that will provide a spark?
  11. Yes? He was pushed out by the NFL and "resigned"
  12. The Raiders did the year the fired Gruden
  13. That’s a good point. That chargers roster had plenty of talent. I’m not surprised they played hard the next week. As to the Jets, Salah sucked as a HC. Hackett shouldn’t even be in the league, much less coordinating an offense. They probably fired the wrong guy, for now (Though both deserve to be fired)
  14. I wish Levis was a better QB. He plays like Allen but far less polished. He’s fun, but also has tons of WTF plays. If he ever calms down and plays within himself, he could be a good player. Unfortunately, I think it’s more likely he’s not the starter next year
  15. I watched a bit of Ulbrichs press conference. He talked about changing the roles of staff and generally spoke about how sad he was salah was gone. I think the feeling in the building is far more like “oh *****” and less so about “we got this” Sometimes firing is fully justified (I believe it is in this case) but it feels like the owner is expressing no confidence in the team. The GM is probably on the way out. The entire coaching staff is basically fired. Their QB is 40 and looks it. I think it’s more likely they implode than have a great run. Most guys are gonna be lining up their next jobs and it’s not even halfway through the season. People pointing out the Chargers last year playing us tough after Staley was fired. They were professional athletes that got absolutely embarrassed a week earlier. They were going to show up and play hard that week no matter if it was Staley coaching them or somebody else
  16. He got fired after filing and expense report. Happens all the time
  17. He's going to struggle. I like Maye, but that is a rough position to be in. That team has very little talent As an aside, the Pats* move on from BB, which was the right move IMO. But the fact they didnt even do a coaching search at all and just hired Mayo is still Bizarre to me
  18. The Jets had 6 first rounders on defense. If that unit wasn’t elite, that was a huge problem
  19. He was a huge problem. The fact that people love to point out “his defense is good, so it’s not his fault” is ridiculous. There was a report that for the first time in his 3+ seasons as a HC, he was attending offensive meetings. Which means, he had no idea what was happening on that side of the ball He is the HC and is responsible for everything that happens within the building. Even if it’s not his specialty, it’s shows a lack of accountability over his team. It also explains why the offense has been such a ***** show since he got there. Rodgers said they need to hold guys accountable and Salah said they should change the cadence. He was a terrible HC. Jets should have fired him last year and they didn’t simply to keep Hackett around for Rodgers
  20. That team was losing games by being completely undisciplined. This is a new issue for the Jets either. They've been boom or bust his entire time there. They should have fired him last year. Everyone points out he has a good defense. They have 6 first rounders on defense! they had better be elite
