  1. You should be so lucky. The rest of us watched the game. If I'd had any sense I'd have had a lot a wine. My arms are tired too.... raising them every couple of plays and yelling WTF. BTW... what does one shovel in NYC? a section of side walk? Can't be a driveway, right? Us upstaters are curious to know.
  2. That is some good stuff! LMAO I think there's enough evidence to convict them too.
  3. Simply brilliant. OT, front 4? I hadn't heard that before. You must be the life of the party. BTW...LB pressure? What LBs?
  4. I don't think there's a franchise tag this offseason. The owners are voiding the CBA, which the franchise tag is part of. Even if there were a franchise tag, would you want to use it on a wr without anyone to throw it to them? A wr only gets 5-8 touches a game usually. And, with the probability of bringing in a new regime, is the coach going to want TO on the team?
  5. How bout that game yesterday?
  6. LBs and OTs deserve a "0". If we have to go with any of them as starters next year, we're in real trouble. Fabio is a starter only on a bottomfeeder team in this league. The only reason he had a slightly better game than his usual 10 yard down field tackles type of game is because the Pats had two backups in their Oline playing. He'd have had his lunch handed to him yesterday if Neil and Kazur were playing. 6 for the DT's? I'll give Williams a 5, but Stroud gets a 3. I know of at least 13 other DTs that are not making anywhere close to his money that would grade out 6-8 on your scale.
  7. #1... Dungy aint coming, that's a fact. He just said a week ago, he ain't coming back to coaching. #2... What would Vick and his career 76 passer rating do for this team? We already have two QBs like that. Vick will sell Tix, I'll give you that. But, the defenses within the division will chew him up and spit him out. They'll continue to defend the Bills as they have the past several seasons.... 8 & 9 in the box until you prove you can consistently beat me with the pass. Then, what if Vick goes down? You don't have a QB behind him who matches his skill set, thus you have to design another offense that the other 11 guys have to adjust to. There is an outside chance that Vick could get you enough wins for a playoff spot. But, in the playoffs with Vick at QB, you've got no chance whatsoever. I'd rather the Bills bring in a strong football guy... hire a coach, OC and OL coaches and fortify the two OT positions first.
  8. We all know this team is a disaster and changes are coming... we just don't know what they will be. The offense is bad, and the defense, getting know help from the offense, will have logged enough plays that to have actually played 19 games. To add to all of this, we have an uncapped season coming up. What will that mean? It would be interesting to know your thoughts on the uncapped season. But, off the top of my head, I see potential for a few things... 1) Cutting a high salary, low performance player might be en vogue big time. If a player signed a 5 Yr. $50M contract last year with a $10M signing bonus, cutting him would have no salary cap backlash. A team would have to pay any guaranteed money owed to the player though. Jamarcus Russel, you are gone... but don't cry... with the money you've already been paid, you're set for life... unless you are totally stupid. 2) There could be a slew of trades in the offseason... a team might want to part ways with player with a big contract whose performance is OK but doesn't figure into the teams plans. Or, just fill holes by exchanging players. The salary cap was a huge obstacle in making trades. Again, those bonuses that would automatically roll up in one cap year wouldn't happen with no cap, therefore no obstacle. 3) I'd be shocked if a few of the richer teams went on a spending spree for players because, if the owners are whole reason about nixing the current CBA they signed a few years ago, high player salaries, a 58% revenue contribution to the salaries, then increasing salaries and adding to your payroll doesn't augment their argument and would do just the opposite, giving the players leverage in a new CBA. I see it as a way for teams to cut their losses and purge players that are not playing to the level of their contracts (value). In terms of the Bills, that would be Stroud, Kelsay, and possibly Schobel, McGee and Evans. The latter three I add because, if you plugged in three avg. or slightly below avg. players at those three positions, how much worse does it make this team? If Schobel and McGee don't have a lot more help from the front seven, what difference do they make... plus McGee can't hold up a full season. In Evans case, what good is he if he doesn't have a QB or Oline that can get him the ball? It's going to take 3-4 years to get this team to the playoffs with or without those players... and they'll be gone by then anyway. As for the Bills... will they continue to "window dress" and whip up batches of koolaid for the 14 -35 year old fans (because they buy into bullschitt real easy... they think it's Madden), or do they blow the football operations up completely and go back to the drawing boards. If they choose the latter, we need someone in charge with strong leadership, that understands talent, coaching, is decisive, and above all, understands Buffalo... the community, the fans, and especially the climate. I believe the new guy in charge of football needs to mold this team to the Buffalo climate.... bruising ground game, big physical defense. The 3-4 needs to come back. Guys like Schobel, Denney, Kelsay, might be salvageable as OLBs... if not, cut the losses and move on. Offensively... a lot of focus needs to be placed on the o line... especially both OTs... that has to come before any talk of a QB, even though we need one desperately. I don't see too many QBs being available... perhaps Bulger or Anderson. But don't go after a QB unless you've secured the o line. Yeah... it's going to be a strange but interesting offseason with not only the changes at OBD, but the uncapped year as well. Who knows what will happen. I can only guarantee that there will be a new batch of koolaid whipped up because they still need to sell tickets. That is definitely going to happen. But, this time, will there be some meat, potatoes, and substance to go with it? We don't want them to sign some clown like TO or Vick. We want them to clean house and build a new foundation.
  9. That's exactly why we won only 5 games. Wins against Chiefs, Jets, Panthers, Dolphins, Bucs... Wow... and two of those teams also beat the Bills. If we had talent, we'd win 12 or 13 games. If we had talent, we'd have a front office and coaching staff to go with it. When you have an amateur front office and amateur coaches, you get ameteur talent, amateur game plans and amateur performances... they don't know good from bad.... Whitner, Edwards, Posluzny, Maybin, Ellison, Parrish, Hardy, etc., etc.
  10. It sounds like "REALITY". The board pussies can't handle that. Big boys can.
  11. That's your vision? That's your dream (fantasy)? That's it? Stick with your gameboy.
  12. What an idiot! If I anyone has an opinion that doesn't fit in with your belief, they are "HATERS" ? WTF? Take off your diapers, grow up and put a pair of man pants on. Tebow can't be an effective starting QB in the NFL... that's a clear consensus of an overwhelming majority of NFL scouts. No draft board that I've seen has Tebow in the first round, let alone mentioned in the top 10. Tebow is a very good person, and so is Dick Jauron. I don't "hate" either, and neither do the masses. But, like I said... Tebow's college QB skills do not translate to the NFL and Dick Jauron sucks as an NFL Head Coach. I don't care what Griese says about Tebow. He probably thought his kid was all world too.
  13. How bout we keep it real? The Bills haven't exactly faced the "A" list of QBs... They start out with BRADY in his first game back from knee surgery, , BREES, Henne twice, Leftwitch, Derek Anderson and that miserable performance, the rookie Sanchez twice, the washed up Delhomme, SHAUB, Vince Young, & Matt Cassel. By my count, 2 "A" list QBs, and a "B" list QB (Shuab). Facing that bunch, they better have good games.
  14. Clausen's a loser.
  15. I would characterize the two a bit different. Jackson: Smart, decisive, athletic, good power, a gamer. Lynch: Dumb as a box of rocks, indecisive, not a whole lot of athleticism, great power, lost.
  16. That's all fine and good, but at the end of the day Pussluzny doesn't make many plays, and definitely not against "A list" teams. He's a below avergage MLB and if the Bills ever expect to take it to the next level, they won't do it with Fabio as a 1st stringer at any LB position, it will always be a weak link. If I'm the Bills new GM, one of the first things I'm going to do is take inventory of all of the players. I'm going to evaluate their performances and grade them myself without bias. When I look at Fabio, I see a player that clearly does not meet expectations. I'd bring in a player or two at MLB that is physical, wants to be in on the action every down, will show leadership and fire up a team, and wreak havoc. I'd bring Fabio to camp, but he wouldn't be listed as #1 on the depth chart... he'd have to prove he belongs there. Fabio ain't the only player on the Bills in that category. Whitner, Lynch, Kelsay, Stroud, Ellison and Hangartner are players that are either average at best, or certainly not living up to expectations or their potential.
  17. Geez... well then I guess he had a good excuse for being late to mascot meeting. Maybe Moss, Thomas were downtown bailing him out and it made them miss their meeting.
  18. Dude, Pussluzny is a kitty at any position. He is the softest LB on the planet... yeah, even softer than Ellison. If he got any softer he'd have "Charmin" writen on the back of his uni.
  19. No. But not cleaning house and bringing in a real GM has decreased the chances by 98%.
  20. I struggle with this. Fitz could become an average backup.
  21. If given time, Brohm will be an almost average backup QB in this league. He could be the 2nd coming of Todd Collins.
  22. Not so fast. You and I may know that it's pissin money down the drain... and it is. But, this generation is as dumb as a box of kitty litter. They think nothing of pissin away $300 a month on a phone, texting, video games, music, and espn insider. They're being played big time and I don't think we'll see the end of pay to read for a while.
  23. Finally, someone who knows what a real QB looks like. Yes, this year's class stinks... except for Bradford (who is as tough as pretzel thins). Don't count on a new GM... although that is where it needs to start. With all of the pub about a top tier coach... (smoke being blown up our shorts) eminating from OBD, it's evidence that Ralph is in love with Russ Barnem. Of course Ralph gets it... therefore the circus will have a new act... and although I wish it was a real LT and real RT, it's likely to be something else.
  24. Bull feathers!!! It might take some of them that long for the light to go on, but the likes of Wood, Levitre, Mangold, Oher, Pace, yes..Ruben Brown, Will Wolford, Jake Long, Jason Fabini, Bryant McKinney, Damien Woody,.... yada yada yada... were plugged right in from the get go. Lineman that take 3 years to become a competent starter, more often than not, end up being marginal because that's exactly what they are, and end up usually as journeyman like Ross Tucker, Seth McKinney, Tuten Reyes, Duke Preston, etc.
  25. I've got news for everyone. If the Jags want Tebow in the first round, when it comes time for the Jags to pick, he's gonna be there. No other team is stupid enough to waste a 2nd rounder on him, let alone a first. So, have at it Jags... Tim Tebow.... the second coming of Bobby Douglas, yee haaa. Wait til you Tebow man lovers see Tebow in the Hula/Senior Bowl games... you're gonna fall in love all over again with that rocket arm with pin point accuracy and that nano second quick release. Tebow... at the pro level? Yeah, maybe Canada.
