Supposedly Zion Logue outplayed him anyway, and Carter was kept on the 53 because of his status as a 3d round pick, so this isn’t a big deal for the team…
🤣🤣🤣🤣As of right now, not a single Bills starter has been ruled out for the Ravens, and the only backups who are out are Hairston and Grable. Get a grip.
If GB at least reaches the NFCCG the next two seasons (not a stretch with the addition of Parsons), those two first rounders will be severely degraded and combined would be worth about one top 10 pick. I don’t see much chance that either of those picks is top half of round 1.
As I recall, there were quite a few fumbles, but all were recovered by the Bills. That’s what will be hard to duplicate. But what you say is true…much of the positive turnover differential is the result of design, on both sides of the ball.
Last year the Bills had one of the highest (positive) turnover differentials in NFL history, including almost no offensive turnovers (not a single lost fumble by a receiver or RB). It’s not clear how much of that was luck, but it’s going to be almost impossible to repeat.
IIRC, the fifth we got from the Cardinals for Ford turned out to be a good player, but I don’t remember who it was. (Scratch that…it turned into Justin Shorter.)
Of course there is a huge dead-cap hit if he is cut…not sure if that is affected by the timing…if Ogunjobi is cut, he would probably go down as Beane’s worst FA signing ever…
I think with the offensive line the Bills have built, the team could easily go .500 or better if Josh were to miss an extended stretch of games. The floor is fairly high when you have a deep, talented o-line.
No one has a worse draft history than the Bears. Passed on Mahomes for Trubisky (while trading up from 3 to 2), and passed on Jaden Daniels for Caleb Darnold.
It hasn’t been ideal, but it’s been far from a disaster. Most of the injuries have been to guys who were not expected to start right away, and none of the injuries have been of the season-ending variety. I think the Bills are probably being exceedingly cautious with most of these injured players. I don’t think huge concern is warranted.
I’ve got my story straight; you don’t. On the rep in question, Cover 1 called out Walker for getting taken for a ride…I already told you where to find it….
A win or loss might not mean much for the team’s overall prospects, but it could very well be the difference between playing the AFCCG in Baltimore or playing it at Highmark…hardly insignificant
