  1. It's a hard position to learn in the NFL. Plenty of TEs have had their best seasons in their late 20s and early 30s. Knox is 27 and he's a starting caliber TE. If we cut him, we'd need to develop or sign another TE. Dalton Schultz is a comparable player and Houston just signed him for 3 years and $36 million, about what Knox is getting...
  2. Knox is still young and TEs often take a long time to develop. It's entirely possible that his best days are ahead of him. Although it's not a great contract, I don't see much downside in extending him.
  3. Marino is far and away the best Bills podcaster. Really puts in the work and his show just keeps getting better. Indispensable.
  4. It is overt and explicit discrimination on the basis of race…always illegal. The way they have structured the rule would make it a bit more difficult to bring a successful case, but I don’t think there is any way that program would withstand legal scrutiny.
  5. I’m actually surprised no one has sued over that rule. It is blatantly illegal. I’m guessing no one wants to rock the boat…would be career suicide.
  6. And I think McDaniel also counted as a minority hire, which is absurd.
  7. How the F does San Francisco get FIVE comp picks, including a third and a fourth???
  8. This is an interesting strategy. I like it, but I think it really depends who ends up being available at 28.
  9. I've been a big proponent of Franklin, but it's hard to argue with this. He was a complete non-factor in the Pac12 Championship game against Washington's more physical DBs...
  10. The NFL is highly concerned about the safety of the fans and players.
  11. Agreed. We don't want to damage anyone's self of steam.
  12. One vet and a fifth round draft pick should be sufficient. Crazy to talk about using a day two pick on a safety.
  13. The dash will not disappear because it completely changes the meaning…in fact, it means almost the opposite.
  14. It’s not a grammar issue…it’s a literacy issue.
  15. Absolutely. This is exactly what the Bills needed to do. We are taking a page right out of the Chiefs' playbook...moving on from expensive, older veterans, stockpiling draft picks, getting younger and cheaper, especially on defense, no sacred cows, other than the QB and a few key pieces.
  16. re-signing, not resigning
  17. I agree...looks to me like all of the big three will be gone by then. I had some hope that Odunze would last until then, but I think his combine performance put that to rest. And yes, it seems a little high to pick Thomas Jr, Worthy, or Mitchell. Any such trade would have to be a draft day situation, dependent on who's available.
  18. I suppose it’s possible we are looking to acquire Denver’s 12th overall pick…that’s a little rich, but could get us one of the Big 3 WRs…
  19. Especially at safety. Twenty 2023 starting safeties are free agents. Help is going to come cheap at that position.
  20. How many first round draft picks did the Bills trade to get Non Miller?
  21. Not true at all...In the fourth quarter, Wilson marched the pathetic Broncos offense down the field to score two touchdowns, including one on a crazy, desperation throw to Courtland Sutton...
  22. Well, he still managed to beat the Bills in Orchard Park last year…Dorsey’s swan song…
  23. Worthy measured 5’11”, not 6’1”, as advertised.
  24. The trade could just be a case of the organization doing right by Ryan Bates…giving him a chance to start for an NFL team, an opportunity he really doesn’t have in Buffalo, barring injury. At the same time, it’s not a trade that hurts the Bills in any significant way…
