  1. Gronk must like weak armed QBs. Allen’s passes might hurt his hands.
  2. I’m not getting down on the coaches as some are on here. I think the 13 seconds debacle matters, but it’s a symptom of a much bigger issue. I don’t care about the squib vs no squib call. The fact remains that we kicked the ball off to a team with 13 seconds left and they were able to to put 3 points on the scoreboard. To me, it indicates a failure of execution by our defense. There’s 2 players (and by extension, 3) they needed to shut down for 2-3 plays: Hill and Kelce. They couldn’t even do this. Garbage defense. I will say, if Tre was playing, I bet we would’ve won that game.
  3. “I’ll pick ‘what it takes to be Chief’ for $800, Alex”
  4. Yea, inquiring minds want to know. What happened to this?
  5. His skill would likely be eclipsed by a pick in rd 1 or 2, and at a fraction of the price. We can’t sign all our FAs, especially the role players. He can go elsewhere and get paid. Will work out best for all parties involved.
  6. …until it counted. We can’t let that happen again.
  7. And yet both of them failed us 2 Sunday’s ago.
  8. I know you weren’t the one who opened this can of worms, but I don’t think it’s fair to compare the NHL to the NFL draft. The NHL draft targets players years away from actually making the team. This makes it very hard to prognosticate success. It’s more of a crapshoot, even for the top 10. Plus, 1st rounders in the NFL are expected to be stars, whereas NHL 1st rounders are expected to be NHL regulars in the least.
  9. Not shocked Lamar(‘s agent) is asking this. In this day, any young QB that has demonstrated a moderate amount of success, contract talks begin with a floor of 40M. It’s just the nature of the beast. I if we’re Baltimore, I’d offer him to a bottom feeder for 2 1sts and 2 2nds.
  10. https://www.sportscasting.com/chiefs-oc-eric-bieniemys-troubling-rap-sheet-includes-a-disturbing-assault-charge-against-a-woman/?amp
  11. Agreed. This guy has a fairly long rap sheet. While these crimes were committed a fairly long time ago, some owners just won’t feel comfortable with him leading their team. The Chiefs have demonstrated over and over again that they don’t mind. So maybe he’s best off as a Chief.
  12. There’s a right way to do this. Have paperwork documented listing all the pros and cons of each candidate and thoughts of the people he met with. Based your decision based on these documents. And, for the love of God, don’t decided on the position until after all candidates have interviewed. One thing I don’t doubt Flores about. There are definitely teams who have already made a decision and are looking to check the box.
  13. Gesicki would be a huge get on offense. Hopefully he doesn’t take a home town discount. He could easily have over 1000 yards with Josh throwing to him.
  14. Read up about him. This will be our new OC in 2-3 years.
  15. Thread has become too big too fast. Anyone have an answer what the allegations against Ross have to do with systemic racism? Plus, the irony is that he did get hired by the NFL as a HC, but only to throw the guy under bus (probably deservedly).
  16. Even though they probably deserved it, he just threw 1/16th of NFL owners under the bus. If you were an owner, would you hire him?
  17. Agreed. But Flores just dug a hole he’ll unfortunately never recover from. Those allegations are spectacular.
  18. Can he drive off Frazier?
  19. Bills OC position opens up…I get out my contract down south. Coincidence? Just saying’.
  20. Serious though, does Allen really need anyone other than to have some healthy discussions during the week?
  21. Fin’s owner’s logic will be if he didn’t hire him, he still would’ve left and for a different team.
  22. On the other hand, what if you coach him to continuous mediocrity? He certainly doesn’t have the talent of Josh, but I could see him coached up to the level of another Jones we all know. But Daboll is no Hoodie either. He could end up with perpetual 8-9 seasons (the new 8-8).
  23. Jon Gruden would beg to differ.
  24. The big question now is will he still be their HC come next Monday.
