  1. Yeah I would of liked to see Allen making quick hot reads and delivering strikes to WR even in close coverage.. Then we can start blaming WR's IMO He did make some sweet passes against the Vikes but the wheels came off this weekend
  2. Some buds give you a heady high others just downright place you into a catatonic coma.
  3. that's no excuse for 16 for 33 and 150 yards, not recognizing the blitzes or having a mental plan on how to deal with it Outrage is being a Bills fan and going well over 2 decades waiting on a QB to get it
  4. You get added time on plays by making a few plays early and forcing the D to be honest. Allen has to identify the D at the LOS find the hot read and deliver otherwise he will see 8 in the box blitz over and over again. No QB is going to have time to throw if they can't create it with good throws in the face of pressure I do hope Allen gets it but as of now all we are seeing is everything we feared.
  5. He never looked poised yesterday Allen has to make the read at the line and get the ball out quickly. He obviously does not do a good job dissecting the D at the LOS. This was blatantly obvious when on one play it was an obvious all out blitz and all Allen did was take the snap and run like a scared chicken. You can't do that its 2 steps throw. Not take the snap run away as fast as you can and make an ill advised throw. I am sure seeing lots of people wanting to like Allen but not willing to call it the way it is.. He is not looking poised, he is not making good reads leading to quick throws. That is the very definition of Not Poised, see above quotes
  6. I'm in on KB having a solid outing this weekend.
  7. If teams start spying JA then JA should have a field day with one less defender covering WR's I think GB will attack Allen with disguised blitzes.. so it will be up to JA to find the mis-matches quickly and expose them
  8. Allen looked ho hum at his best vs Chargers . I saw a player who had accuracy issues.... There wasn't alot to pull positively IMO from the Chargers game.. You just hope he gets better which he did vs the Vikings on the road. Here's hoping he continues to progress vs GB
  9. why would anyone try to tackle any player above the shoulders ? isn't that tackling 101 stuff
  10. I definitely do not get wrapped up in football the way others do. but there is no denying there is emotional involvement that lasts after the games are played. But I do have expectations for the team to not suck, and I do not accept that we have to be worse this year. If they play like they did in Minnesota we are a playoff caliber team. If we play like weeks 1 and 2 I'll slowly stop watching for the year and start looking at the offseason in December.
  11. It comes down to how Allen progresses moving forward. If I was forced to make that decision today I 'd go with Mahomes.. but this time next year, maybe even later in this season, Allen could very well be putting up huge numbers just the same
  12. LMAO where are you getting this from... Every single fan on this board will be grouchy if we suffer a loss and extremely grouchy if we suffer a blow out loss. It comes with the territory of being a fan. What or where did I say something that makes you think I needs this little pep talk from you.. Or did you read 2 posts of mine and decided I needed a good talking too ??? trust me there are many others that need this speech before you give it to me
  13. I am not trying to be, but after weeks 1 and 2 I was very much annoyed... Glad to see them rebound in a MAJOR way... I do expect them to play like last week and never play like Week 1 and 2 again. If they play crappy football I will call them as I see them.. If they play great football the rest of the year I will call them as I see them. The difference being losing brings out grouchiness, losing and playing embarrassing bad means nobody gets a chance, winning brings out happiness and winning like last week brings out the snoopy dance posts. the 20 year drought was long enough, and it was met with people being annoyed, angry and sad.... nobody wants to taste that again, and again after weeks 1 and 2 we were labeled as beyond pathetic... SO it has nothing to do with me trying to be anything.. it has everything to do with how they play, how they lose and how they win.
  14. Why would you even bother asking something like this. Or is there now a guide line to what can be posted and what can not. I will make my observation call it as I see it maybe have a small discussion about it then move along. If they regress to a 4-12 or 6- 10 team then I won't be alone. Many will make posts / comments and everyone will be pissy. What was the point of your reply to me seemed like a very annoying thing to post
  15. Last week I mentioned Allen didn't look great and I had some concerns because there were more than a few really crappy off target throws and ill advised throws made. I was attacked for making the observation and was instantly labeled some sort of hater. I still have no idea why but hey welcome to the stupidity that is the internet. Nothing schizo about it.. It was a very real and obvious observation everyone with eyeballs could make themselves. What it really boils down to is most posters just can not accept opinion and observation that does not match their opinion on the matter and then get bent out of shape because of it. This morphs itself into week long B word fests for too many. As for not accepting regression. My expectations this year is to make the playoffs again, and at worst at least be in position for the wild card. For those who are OK with goin 6-10 or 4-12 this year good luck to ya, but if we are going to be that bad of a football team then you can bet the farm a lot of it has to do with the QB position / play. IMO if any QB is going to prove to be franchise they will not let this team fall to last place in the AFC East which I get the feeling some are accepting this year. Allen looked solid with throws on target and on the road this week, I expect him to continue to get better and not regress. Mistakes will happen but there is a very big difference between making mistakes and regressing. We beat a top team on the road. My expectations are now raised for the rest of the year as this is the level of play I expect week in and out.... Yes I will be pissed when we lose
  16. I won't be accepting regression. There is no reason for regression in my eyes In that case I will be very vocally disappointed. There are no off years in the NFL you either find a way or you get crapped on. The best franchises can find away, losers accept regression as normal... Too late.. She'd already been mooned
  17. If the Bills look like we did week 1 and 2 then yeah everyone will be sharpening ax's. I'm not accepting that crap going forward.. Now that we have a taste of what may be with the Vikings game there is no reverting back. GB will be a huge gut check game, can this team gel and maintain forward momentum
  18. No we don't. I doubt it will happen as I expect a very focused rebound game from GB...
  19. Still need to see the consistency, but his accuracy was MUCH better this week. Only the one really bad long ball that was almost an INT.. I do like the fact he was actually hitting the open WR's in stride this week compared to last.. He also seemed to scan the field a little better as well.
  20. what are we referring to here.... What streak ?
  21. If Allen keeps progressing along side of the OL and Dabol we will sweep them and Miami will fade by the 2nd half of the season
  22. Zay is fine More worried about Benjamins drops then Zays lack of targets
  23. I'd be happier with a blowout and the stadium being empty for you by the end of the 3rd quarter
  24. He definitely looks better than he did last week... If he continues to progress it will be a nice to have a QB. I noticed he was delivering much more accurate passes to wide open WRs compared to last week.. I still have to watch the game ? because for some GD reason Direct TV doesn't recognize that I have record all Buffalo Bills games and yet when I came home Sunday from a trip to Vancouver, DTV recorded the Broncos ravens for me instead.
