  1. The extension or restrucutre does similiar things. Frees up money today and pushes much of it down the line. If Josh does neither we will have less money to play with, and the conversation changes to Josh wants out.
  2. I agree we will have somewhere in this range when it all shakes out. How much of that money will be used to replace the players we let go? How much wil be left after we have a full roster. AND how much are you budegeting for a solid speedy WR because the good ones will not fit in after all is said and done. Unless we trade up we will be stuck with whatever falls to us. It will be alot like last offseason IMO. We will be dealing with teir 2 FAs Are we going to resign Cooper or let him go ?? Smauel ?? Hollins ?? Are we going to Upgrade our DL or stick with what we have ?? How about James Cook, do we extend him, and how much do we pay for a RB ? What about S and CB??? I know we will draft some but we need upgrades here... Bottom line that $15 million to $30 million isn't a lot when you are resigning your own, replacing players whose contract expired or let go, and have a few needs as well. I assume this number includes projected extensions and cuts. I just don't see us being able to fill holes and make an impactful top teir FA acqusition without causing some pain elsewhere. Extension or restructure it will create space this offseason
  3. He was on the practice squad mostly to be a player/coach for the other DBs on the roster. Very little money or time wasted
  4. Please show me all this cap room we have, and then tell me how you plan to fill the voids left by the players we do not resign to gain this cap room. We can restrucutre Allen for a little room but we do not have that much cap room. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/cap/_/year/2025/sort/cap_maximum_space -2 million on the cap with 5 million in dead cap space... so far
  5. What excuse did I make. That is the way I viewed the game and our loss. Not one single excuse in there
  6. So what are you saying here. Just come out and say what you are thinking.. I believe that is a penalty and it wasn't called so it didn't happen.
  7. KC was in Allens face all game. If we did the same to Mahommes the result could of been different IMO. I agree Allen did not have the time to be comfortable much of game and it showed with poorly thrown passes As for WR. Yes we could use WR, but this team was able to scroe 30 points +++ most games with what we have, so I do not view WR to be a 1st rd need as much as I would prefer DL that can make a difference.
  8. Or have a DL capable of causing havoc in the back field like KC did to us forcing mistakes and stopping the Tush Push over and over again
  9. Am I missing an inside joke or something. People keep posting links that go nowhere for me
  10. Plain and simple.. We were beat by the better, superior team. We were close but its a game of inches and KC was able to win those inches
  11. We are putting up close to 30 pts a game..... and won 13 games this year 15 including playoffs. We have issues but this doens't even come up in coversation with the majority. Does it matter if we put up 30 by running or do we have to put up 30 by passing which In your opinion is a superior 30.
  12. He rock solid, and makes some good moves... But he also has made a few moves that are questionable. McDermott and Beane are going nowhere so any thoughts about it are a waste of time
  13. No choke, KC blitz and defense was designed to keep Allen contained. When Allen did have time he wasn;t finding much open. Allen did not feel comfortable and it showed
  14. I already read the title and believed it.. It's too late
  15. You have to post the entire URL from what it was you tried to post FYI. I get nothing when I click
  16. Lamar has surprised me. The 2 most unhearlded QB ever drafted in the 1st round go on to be the 2 best QB drafted that year in the 1st rd I love that Josh and Lamar think highly of each other, that adds an extra bit of respect for Lamar from me
  17. Well it starts at 3:30 here, so give me a call and I'll tell you how you should bet the game for an early retirement
  18. Best team of the Josh Allen era, and I feel we match up much better againt the Chiefs than we did the Ravens. I'm still not overly confident and never will be with a Buffalo team until we hoist the Lombardi. We also play on the road... so I'm 50/50 and like last week my heart will be in my throat the whole game unless we take a 3TD lead in the 2nd half, then I will relax a little.
  19. We win if we are the better team. If we lose it is because we were not.
  20. OK.... I'm tortured every year we go to the playoffs and exit early, and then have to listen to so many say how we are never going to win it etc etc etc.... I get over it but that is getting old to.
  21. OK I know that, but nothing will bring me peace but a SB victory, and coming up short once again will not fill me with some sort of "just wait till next year" pride. I will not be happy if we lose to KC or in the SB.
  22. NO, I don't appreciate participation trophies. We have Allen, and we have to win it all. Anything that comes up short will be dissapointiing. I would never willingly reduce my expectations to "we'll get them next year". That's been Buffalo M.O. for decades... Not a single thing but a SB win can put me at peace.
  23. I am more comfortable looking forward to playing the Cheifs than I was against the Ravens. But this is Mahommes and the Cheifs so its gonna be a tough one. I expect a much diffferent game plan.
  24. Its a definite possibility considering what he played for last year and his love for Buffalo / josh etc.. Looks like he is a FA in 2025 As a situational player and a back up I would sign him quickly.. For starter money probabaly pass.
  25. Yeah I remember that play. It was the year before we started our 4 year run. Maybe the curse has been broken and passed onto the Ravens
