  1. They say this years flu is pretty rough, even if they are on the mend by Sunday more than likely they will have some lingering effects My biggest worry is it moving back over to the Bills locker room.
  2. There is always going to be a list of teams that "can" win the Superbowl... but that still does not make it acceptable for us to fail to get there.... especially this season. Been a fan since the early 70s when I was kid. I no longer have the patience for 13 seconds, homerun throwbacks, or wide right, or even losses to the Jets and Miami this year when we had Allen and and revamped DL with Von Miller. We have a great QB and great players but yet we stumble... I guess some fans can accept our follies year after year... I can no longer just accept it, not when we have the players more than capable of not coming up short yet again. Home field advantage is must but yet we keep finding ways to let slip through our grasp. We are back on track for now but I will not be happy if we lose HFA. Its an expectation , and I fully expect the Bills to be more than capable of not fubarring the whole thing up .... If they lose HFA and then lose in the playoffs are you going to say "shucky darns will get them next year kiddo's" . Now if your all ok with coming up short and can't be bothered to be a little upset with it then Good for You.. I guess I've waited a long time for a team like this and anything short of the ultimate goal wil be dissappointing, and the fact is there will be reasons for it and somebody is responsible for those reasons, both good and bad... However coming up short of the ultimate goal is a squnadered chance and "Next Year" is not something I enjoy having to say anymore.
  3. I say the Bills turn off the sideline heaters. If the Bills don't use them Miami can't use them. Maybe even bring out the cool misters and say if they want they can use these instead... if they chose I think we can tough the cold out much better.
  4. in hindsight or forsight... IT SHOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED. The fact that we can not afford to lose 1 more game to contol home field advantage this season by allowing losses to the Miami and Jets is another Blunder. We should not be in this predicament. Injuries have a part to play in it, but a teams depth has to be ready to step up and keeep those things from happening. I believe we have the depth, so then w elok at coaching and preparedness. We have gotten little help from Cook and Shakir early in the season. They're stepping up more so now, and hopefuly they can make a huge difference down the stretch... If we lose home field advantage for the playoffs and then fail to make the Superbowl these situation will be brought up all off-season over and over and over again, becuase that is where the compass will point. I fully expect us to dominate Miami and the Jets when they come to us. Cinncinatti will be the game that could make or break us, and the Bengals are a prime candidate to spoil our offseason... SO this will be a huge test for the Coaches and the team in general. Failure is NOT an option With Allen and Von Miller and other offseason aquisitions I fully expect to dominate the rest of the season and through the playoffs, anything less will be a MASSIVE dissapointment and probably more Bills franchise follies to add to the pile. I struggle with the bend don't break Defense, because if the other QB is having a solid day bend don't break don't stop *****. But playing the odds bend don't break probably favors the D, but not against hot or top QBs bend don't break seems to make a game easier to lose IMO
  5. Summers in Florida are a lot like winters in Buffalo You run out to the car to get the air conditioner (heat) started and you run back inside and let the car cool down first. (warm up) Then you go to the store or whatever and you run inside quickly cause its so damn hot. (Cold) Then you quickly return home/work/whatever and hunker indoors with the AC (heat). In Buffalo you may wait till the warmest part of the day, in Florida you do it early morning or late evening when its semi-bareable
  6. He was amazing for us.... it lasted for 8 games
  7. Need a new GM for next years draft. By doing it now they might be able to fill the position and be ready. Not much for a GM to do at this time a year. Now is the good time if you want the new GM to be ready for 2023 draft IMO
  8. I'll stay on the luke warm side I'm still bitter about losses to the Jets and Miami while not controlling our playoff destiny the ENTIRE season. When you have the talent the Bills have you should expect that, and yet we lost 2 critical games against AFC East opponents. Last years 13 second debacle has not been forgotten either. NOW if we dominate the rest of the year and continue to show that through the playoffs then we can let by gones be by gones. BUT if the Bils fail to dominate and fail in the playoffs you can bet the farm McDermott and even Beanes leash just got tighter from many fans perspective.
  9. Donated Donated to the Van - GoFundMe... Posted on facebook hopefully another will donate
  10. Now I want to see what type of heart and character this team has. We control our destiny, we cannot afford to lose again this season. Hopefully we only gain steam here like last season, go into the playoffs with a team ending the season playing its best football consistently
  11. its a force of will. I fail to see the concern here. The team with the best leverage and most strength wins, its football.
  12. The best part though 24 - Miami - Forfeited
  13. A bird in the hand !!! I know he was holding out for a fatter contract but injury concerns may cost him. I think he had a solid deal on the table and I think he is a bit of fool for playing hardball for a few million more.
  14. Got to run the table the rest of the season. We control our own destiny again but we should of maintained it all season. Glad to be back in the drivers seat
  15. I'll start feeling confident about the p[layoffs again if they can string together the rest of the season with a balanced offense like they did against NE They were running well, Josh was seeing the underneath stuff and took it, and the downfield game was still working If they go back to be one dimensional, not able to run, not taking what the D gives you then we won't be having no parades. I also want to see the D be more consistent on pressure and not giving up the big runs and cushy passes that have plagues them some during the mid season Thats the saddest part.. I beleive this team is stil performing below peak consistentcy. The NE game hopefully represents a change for the stretch
  16. Part of his body had already made contact with the OB turf before the bobble therefore the play ends the moment he is officially OB So I agree it should of been an INT
  17. Its probably happened more time than you would think. This one in college, but it was obvious
  18. Hey, can't blame a man for folowing his passion
  19. If plays are that predictable in the NFL NFL Coaches and players are going to figure it out real fast, and they did, and have Josh has hit some tight windows, but when you are doing the same thing over and over again those tight windows are getting smaller and smaller.
  20. Davis runs the routes that are designed/called. If we are calling plays that are so preditable then the blame goes to the OC, and explains why we are struggling as much as we are If its this easy then I've got to ask .... WTF Dorsey?
  21. This team has to tear it up for multiple games pretty much mistake free before I can billieve again. We should not be in this position and the fact that we are says a lot. it goes farther then just that IMO.... scheme? talent? its not one position or one player thats the issue, it appears to be a collective of issues across the board. They have good plays and good series' then all of sudden it becomes unfixable problem... I'm at wits end trying to understand the how and why.
  22. most of those 4th downs shouldn't have happened .. We should be doing a better job with 3 downs IMO. Its nice to convert of course, but we shouldn't be in that position as much as we have...
  23. Well if Dorsey has 0 confidence then it pretty much back up what we're all saying.. The run game is once again woefully inconsistent as it has been. No excuse to have the same problems as the year before when we supposedly had it figured out at the end of last season. To be going through the same problems mid season again is just unexcuseable I'm pretty depressed about the Bills now. My expectations are gone.
  24. Yep I thought that was part of the solution myself, Him and Brown..... but here we are yet again same exact problems no consistency
