  1. https://www.forbes.com/sites/richardmcgahey/2022/03/29/buffalos-billion-dollar-tax-fumble/?sh=103d00c4516f it wasn't ever going to happen and it wasn't ever going to be pushed for because it cost a $Billion more.. regardless of what you said a billion in profits for the state was not going to happen with a dome added.... The Bills alone generate $27 million annually...That $27 million is already tied to the cost of the no dome stadium 27 million times 25 years = 675 million SO lets say we add the dome at cost of $1 billion more. How many events would it take to recoup the cost of investment. Even if a dome only cost $500 million more do the math. 65,000 people (projected stadium capacity plus floor for concerts) you can argue the additonal taxes from bars, food, shopping in preperation, parking, gas might add more to the revenue but it won't be enough to offset the cost to taxpayers, whom many were against what we did spend.... And in regards to concerts there is no payroll income tax that matches what the BIlls pay so you would have to have multiple major events a month to come close to producing the tax revenue that would justify the investment. Now you understand fully why we did not get a dome. There is NO justification finacially, and we barely got justfication for what we are building.
  2. because it adds another billion to construction costs.... we are already using more taxpayer money than other teams do for the stadium.. You want to sell that one to Joe and Jane public?
  3. Diggs . . . . . . . . . who ever decides to actually show up yes I am this down on every receiving option outside of Diggs... no consistency
  4. Yeah I'm still looking at those dropped passes and the lack for making tough catches when needed I like the guy, but we can do better in the TE department.
  5. Knox is has regressed this year in the pass catching department. When compared to other TE's this year 17 in receptions 18th in targets 19th in yards
  6. This is how bad McKenzie / Davis have been in the consistency department. I think this signing screams this
  7. he can stay on the team he just is not proving to be a #1 TE.
  8. From what I saw ending last season to this season.. I'm sticking with mind boggling.
  9. Its ok to call a spade a spade, This offese is struggling for consistency.... This year is about winning the SB... so anything that might keep us from getting there is being discussed. This is not being spoiled, this is having expectations for this franchise.... I'm concerned
  10. So much for analytics I guess.
  11. I'm not thrilled with our OC either. But we also have crap after Diggs for reliable pass catchers which is mind boggling. The offense needs investment for the future
  12. Blackshear is just a JAG don't understand the love affair
  13. personally I think these "Gritty Wins" is just the Bills under performing. consistency is a major issue with this team
  14. McKenzie should be shown the door Davis should be regulated to a depth WR Knox should be replaced with a true #1 TE
  15. I worry about home field advantage, yes we can win it all without it possibly, but in my eyes the odds go up considerably at home. for me consistency is key...... if this team plays consistent, then we dominate, we win out, we get HFA, and then ........ Outside of Dawkins being out agaist NE I thought that was one of our most consistent games of the season. We ran well, we took the underneath stuff and the defense had aswers. I want more of that.
  16. for me its about consistency... In our losses we have seen some maddening inconsistencies, and we have seen hese same inconsistencies in some of our wins. Like running the football, and taking the underneath stuff. This is one place I really liked what I saw vs the Pats, it was all working and the team was playing well in all phases. I do have the expectation that the BIlls would look sharp in all games this year especially the Jets and Miami... I expected a few losses this year... but its more about that ability to be consistent....The running game has not been so hopefully NE was a sign of things down the stretch As for winning the SB, I can help it I want there to be no doubt all year long.... I have some doubts so that kind of breeds the frustration.... I'm just hoping the stretch run here demonstrates we are ready and we are playing at home for the playoffs
  17. They say this years flu is pretty rough, even if they are on the mend by Sunday more than likely they will have some lingering effects My biggest worry is it moving back over to the Bills locker room.
  18. There is always going to be a list of teams that "can" win the Superbowl... but that still does not make it acceptable for us to fail to get there.... especially this season. Been a fan since the early 70s when I was kid. I no longer have the patience for 13 seconds, homerun throwbacks, or wide right, or even losses to the Jets and Miami this year when we had Allen and and revamped DL with Von Miller. We have a great QB and great players but yet we stumble... I guess some fans can accept our follies year after year... I can no longer just accept it, not when we have the players more than capable of not coming up short yet again. Home field advantage is must but yet we keep finding ways to let slip through our grasp. We are back on track for now but I will not be happy if we lose HFA. Its an expectation , and I fully expect the Bills to be more than capable of not fubarring the whole thing up .... If they lose HFA and then lose in the playoffs are you going to say "shucky darns will get them next year kiddo's" . Now if your all ok with coming up short and can't be bothered to be a little upset with it then Good for You.. I guess I've waited a long time for a team like this and anything short of the ultimate goal wil be dissappointing, and the fact is there will be reasons for it and somebody is responsible for those reasons, both good and bad... However coming up short of the ultimate goal is a squnadered chance and "Next Year" is not something I enjoy having to say anymore.
  19. I say the Bills turn off the sideline heaters. If the Bills don't use them Miami can't use them. Maybe even bring out the cool misters and say if they want they can use these instead... if they chose I think we can tough the cold out much better.
  20. in hindsight or forsight... IT SHOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED. The fact that we can not afford to lose 1 more game to contol home field advantage this season by allowing losses to the Miami and Jets is another Blunder. We should not be in this predicament. Injuries have a part to play in it, but a teams depth has to be ready to step up and keeep those things from happening. I believe we have the depth, so then w elok at coaching and preparedness. We have gotten little help from Cook and Shakir early in the season. They're stepping up more so now, and hopefuly they can make a huge difference down the stretch... If we lose home field advantage for the playoffs and then fail to make the Superbowl these situation will be brought up all off-season over and over and over again, becuase that is where the compass will point. I fully expect us to dominate Miami and the Jets when they come to us. Cinncinatti will be the game that could make or break us, and the Bengals are a prime candidate to spoil our offseason... SO this will be a huge test for the Coaches and the team in general. Failure is NOT an option With Allen and Von Miller and other offseason aquisitions I fully expect to dominate the rest of the season and through the playoffs, anything less will be a MASSIVE dissapointment and probably more Bills franchise follies to add to the pile. I struggle with the bend don't break Defense, because if the other QB is having a solid day bend don't break don't stop *****. But playing the odds bend don't break probably favors the D, but not against hot or top QBs bend don't break seems to make a game easier to lose IMO
  21. Summers in Florida are a lot like winters in Buffalo You run out to the car to get the air conditioner (heat) started and you run back inside and let the car cool down first. (warm up) Then you go to the store or whatever and you run inside quickly cause its so damn hot. (Cold) Then you quickly return home/work/whatever and hunker indoors with the AC (heat). In Buffalo you may wait till the warmest part of the day, in Florida you do it early morning or late evening when its semi-bareable
  22. He was amazing for us.... it lasted for 8 games
  23. Need a new GM for next years draft. By doing it now they might be able to fill the position and be ready. Not much for a GM to do at this time a year. Now is the good time if you want the new GM to be ready for 2023 draft IMO
