technically that was 2017 and last year.. But yeah if you go back to 2016 he had a decent season. In seven seasons he has 3 seasons of 10 games or less.. So that is the concern...
-
No he played 2 games for the Vikings before hurting his knee and being placed on IR
-
the knock is he has a glass jaw... He is an average QB when healthy though. And an upgrade over TT regarding passing. Gets sacked about 36 times in a full season of work.. Pure pocket passer is not going to extend plays like TT has

Would 6 rings for NE diminish future SB winners?
ddaryl replied to TheFunPolice's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Patriots are just this era's Dynasty team. Doesn't diminish anything.. It just ensures this era's Patriots franchise will reamin in the conversation for best all time for quite awhile My dislike for the patriots is nothing more than them being division rivals and me being jealous they are so good for so long..... yes there are some integrity questions but that has a lot to do with me wanting to see their amazing run officially tainted so I can sleep better at nights -

MMQB - Scouting the Patriots Using Belichick's Book
ddaryl replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This part jumped out at me... Makes sense for a right handed QB to open his shoulders some and back pedal when the 1st read is on the left side. Never thought about it but very interesting -
Bradford will be the Available Viking QB
ddaryl replied to 1st Ammendment NoMas's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bridgewater is a free agent.. Unless the Vikings can get 1 QB signed and choose to place a transistion tag on the other QB I don't think they can really keep 2. placing a transisiton tag would have them over paynig for a backup because I'm not sure anyone is giving up a 1st for a post injury Bridgewater, and Keenum is most likely the one they choose to keep Bradford is getting older and never completes a full season, so I see him being let go.. and if your Bridgewater wouldn't you like to explore Free agency and see what kind of deal / starting gig you can get before signign a backup contract to stay with the Vikings -
Almost every year you hear about 3 - 5 QB possibly going in the 1st rd.. Usually what happens is the offseason fan hype settles back to reality and a few drop considerably when the day comes. There is some good QB talent but most will need some grooming and they all have questions to there game. Either way it wil be interesting to watch

We are all waiting For the main event Would you recognize it If it came to you in the middle of the night? Would you recognize it If it jumped up and bit you in the ass? We are all waiting For the main event Would you recognize it If it came to you in the middle of your back swing? Would you recognize it If it came speeding like a bullet from a gun? -
A Giants fan opinion of a Pats*-Eagles Super Bowl
ddaryl replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That is a man whom has a serious issue with Philadelphia.. There is a lot of graphic wording in that post As Big Lebowski once said... I had a really rotten day and I really !@#$ing hate the Eagles -

Offensive PI (rule change to consider)
ddaryl replied to TakeYouToTasker's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
if it wasn't so punitive you'd see more Defenses abusing it Its fine the way it is -
I don't see us selling the farm to move up to the top 2 At best like you said move up into the top 10. It will come down to what FA QB we chase and land.
-
I was thinking we could just grab a hair from his brush or grab his tooth brush You seem a little more dedicated to this task
-
I prefer fresh threads over 20 page long reads myself... I think we will grab a vet whom is a crap shoot right now until the tags are dolled outr.. We also will draft a QB.. Depending on which FA we pick up it oculd be a move up and grab a top QB sit where we are and grap one with out picks in the 1st or wait and pick up a day 2 or 3 guy who would comepte with Peterman to be the a possible successor. I don't think anyone wants to keep their eggs in the Peterman basket alone..

Cloning technology is pretty advance. We could sneak in and grab some DNA from Patriots locker room when they visit us and make our own Brady. Maybe tweak that DNA a little in the lab to take the Douchieness out of him and maybe increase his desire to sign vet minimum contracts too, Yeah I don't think Cam in being released or being traded from Carolina this year

Why doesn't the NFL change Defensive PI to 15 yards?
ddaryl replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The rule is fine the way it is. It discourages PI.. -
What's the price to move up and get our guy?
ddaryl replied to ProcessTheTrust's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If they believe that there is a franchise qb up top then its picks well spent... Yes they can wait if they believe they'll get a good one or they can go the FA way.. There's multiple options.... Bridgewater is wildcard with limited experience. Lots of what ifs..He could be great or he could end up being a total bust post injury.. If Bills go any route ill assume they turned over every stone played the cards they were dealt and made the best decision... In 10 months to a year Ill see how that is working out for us... Many teams have moved up and grabbed franchise qbs. So its only bad if it fails.... -
Available FA's who might be a fit with the BIlls
ddaryl replied to BmarvB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Unless the vikings over pay Bridgewater and Keenum one or both would test FA....They are going to have to lock one of them early and then transistion tag the other. Thats gonna be tough to do. -

ddaryl replied to ProcessTheTrust's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Favre wasn't an expensive FA pickup. He was towards the end of his contract with GB, and GB was preparing for his replacement at that time. There was little dead money to worry about there No team is going to commit the amount of money it would take to land the top FA QB. Figure in signing bonus and and guarenteed money.. The math don't support a 1st round drafted QB just to be a 3 to 4 year rider of the pine. Rogers was groomed but he was not groomed behind an expensive FA QB that would create a ton of dead money. Cousins is way too expensive of an option to make drafting a 1st rd QB a wise idea. Possible scenario would be to get Smith on the cheap from KC and then draft a 1st rd QB in this scenario.. We can't have a long term contract and large dead money if we are going to draft a 1st rd QB -
Marrone, Dareus, and the Jags: don't call it luck
ddaryl replied to Foreigner's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If that's the case then the Bills are much closer to greatness than many billieve. All we need is a better QB and we could of destroyed the Jags in jax. We held them to 10 points and missed plenty of opportunity to win that game SO the power of transitive relations we would beat Pittsburgh as well (with sed phantom QB)... Of course insert phantom QB and we beat NE at least once this year as well, and don't crap out on TNF against the Jets, and Peterman never puts up a dud in San Diego Life is for good us Bills fans. You just have to look for the angles -
Is having a franchise quality QB essential for
ddaryl replied to KingRex's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Defenses in the top 10 can also be a product of a potent Offense that keeps the other teams offense off the field, and your defense rested Would have to dive into that data, -

yes the odds atill go up considerably if you have a Brees Brady or Roethlisberger. Get back to me when a average QB is part of a dynasty multiple SB winning team that competes in the playoffs almost every year
