initially i had the same reaction and chalked it up to belichick's surly nature. on second thought though, i don't think many coaches would publicly break down game film after a loss. i doubt they'd want to critique their players in that manner. usually that sort of stuff is done behind closed doors.

i hear you, and i hope that he finds similar success with the bills. that said, my enthusiasm is tempered by the fact that he's been with the team for a year now without seeing any significant improvement on defense. given wanny's defensive credentials, i expected more. it's entirely possible that edwards was completely running the show and wanny's influence was severely limited (though i doubt it given his relationship with coach chan). i guess we'll be able to determine if that was the case about this time next year.

given indy's win/loss record over the past decade and their super bowl victory, i think it's more than fair to say that polian's built a winning team there. we should be so lucky as to have him (again).
