  1. So you're telling Josh Rosen there's a chance. The Jets are who we thought they were. The way this game is going, Rosen will be playing the whole 4th quarter with a 40 point lead.
  2. I know the Bills better than any other team & have a totally opposite viewpoint. When I thik the Bills are a lock, I bet the game. I don't bet many because everything has to be right for me to bet a football game. I've only bet 6 Bills games since they legalized sports betting & the only game I lost was when Cincinnati made a game the Bills won closer than the spread. The best business decisions are the ones you have the most information about. For me that's Bills games.
  3. I go to the casino in Schenectady to bet football. I don't bet anything else at the casino. I'm very conservative in the number of bets I make in a season, but I bet decent amounts when I bet. I didn't bet anything in 2020 due to Covid. In 2019 I bet 5 Bills games & won 4 of them. I also bet futures on various win total overs & to reach the playoff. I won about $5,000 for the season. This year I'm 1 for 1 (bet the Miami game) & won $744. I also put future bets in on the LA Chargers to win 11 or more games (Over 10.5 wins) as well as over 9 wins at lower odds & the Bills to win the AFC.
  4. I get phone calls all the time from Amazon & other places telling me I bought stuff I never did, even when I don't even have an account.😄
  5. QBs who really light it up are playing from behind or in tight games & are making throws that a team well ahead won't make as often. So far this season, through 4 weeks the top 5 yardage QBs per week are 11-9, with 7 of the 11 wins in one score margin games. That means that 80% of the top 5 weekly QBs either lost the game or had to keep throwing to gain a slim victory.
  6. It looks like that shirt is based on the Wyoming Cowboys logo. Was it made to represent Josh before the 2018 draft or just after Kiper said that about Josh when he rated him the top QB in the draft (& the 10th best QB prospect of all time as of this year)?
  7. I've been saying for many years how meaningless QB stats are. This host proves my point that a know nothing can take QB stats & claim vastly inferior QBs are better than franchise QBs. I still remember years ago when Rob Johnson looked better on paper than Jim Kelly for clowns who don't know what they're watching. At one time Ryan Fitzpatrick was better than Andrew Luck on a stat sheet. QB STATS ARE FOR LOSERS
  8. At the beginning of the season I thought One & Done. Now I think he's headed to Lou Holtz & Bobby Petrino land. If we can survive Wrecks, Jacksonville can survive Suburban.
  9. The Bills will be playing there on February 13th.
  10. Since he got Belichick from the Jets and rehabilitated him, maybe he'll think he can do the same with Adam Gase. I can dream, can't I?
  11. He signed at the wrong time-could have started on the 2017 & 2018 Bills (along with the other below average WRs on that team).
  12. I'm worried that if, after yesterday, the Bills don't add Cam to the 53, he'll get signed by another team. Then the question is who do you cut in order to get him on the 53. My choice is Ford.
  13. Josh gets the TD in that situation and there no reason why Lawrence don't either. Good idea to go for it but horrible use of the QB. If you're going to play it the way Meyer did, then I agree with you. I'd rather kick a field goal than do a QB run out of shotgun from the 1.
  14. Nothing wrong with going for it, but if you are running a QB sneak you don't do it from shotgun. Meyer should go back to college.
  15. Lawrence should have been right behind the center and just gone over the top. Bad coaching.
  16. I don't believe Lofton lost his speed. For some reason the 1st thing to go were his hands. He started missing balls he would have caught easily just a season or 2 before.
  17. I'm going with Trubisky-probably plays most of the 2nd half after the Bills go up 42-0. Trubisky puts up 49 & we win 91-0.
  18. I was at that game and because of all the no shows we were able to buy club level seats from a scalper for around $20. It was so cold I stopped on Rt 17 on the way down and got a wool face mask that I wore the entire game. When the game was over we left our seats and in the concourse we passed Ralph Wilson who had just come out of his suite. I still had the mask on & I yelled "All the way to the Super Bowl, Ralph!" I must have startled him because all he did was give me a look like I was out of my mind.
  19. Somewhere between Lou Holtz & Nick Saban.
  20. The Bills are 2-0 over the Jets on CBS in Albany. So far the only game not shown on home TV was a Fox game that was on the same time as the Giants. The Giants will never get bumped in Albany no matter how bad they are but when the Bills are good and the Jets are bad, they bump the Jets off the air.
  21. I'm sleeping when they're on. I don't watch the pregame shows except for the Bills one that's on 11:30-12:00. I listen to the Bills pregame on the radio unless I have to go out to watch the game. When I arrive I watch whatever pregame is on for the Bills games. I go to OTB for Bills games not on home TV where they have individual booths (carrels) with your own personal TV. We get around 10 or more Bills games on home TV during the season-more later in the year if the Jets are really doing bad.
  22. One more week and Met-Life will be declared a disaster area.
  23. I think Darnold is a good example of my theory that a team cannot ruin a QB. Stymie him in a bad offense, yes, but ruin him, no. Darnold doesn't look ruined under a competent coach. There's a decent chance that Wilson will bust because he just can't play at a NFL level. It won't be because the Jets ruined him. It's not incompetent coaches an ruin QBs , it's incompetent scouting that overestimates a college QB's NFL potential. I recently had lunch with a group of people and one who stayed home most of last year said he watched a lot a college football and said Wilson will never make it. Take his opinion with a grain of salt but if Wilson busts don't blame it on the Jets. I don't usually love other people's misery, but I can't resist seeing Darnold succeed while Wilson fails and enjoy that it's happening to the Jets.
  24. Go back and watch how he dominated vs Dallas on Thanksgiving day 2019 before the biggest road crowd and national audience of his career. Some myths die hard.
