What have you seen from this team to indicate that they could beat NE? Especially in any sub-optimal conditions? Not sure you've noticed but even with a 'sub par quarterback' they're the #1 seed right now At this point i'm hoping the Bills can stay ahead of Miami. that sure would be a shtshow to finish the season in 3rd place in the AFCE

In fact, we've lost every close game we've played in. Are we going to back into the playoffs and start blowing people out? It seems more likely, based on the reality of who this team is, that we'll show up to games ill prepared and without a plan, and maybe come around in the 3rd quarter and try to make it a game. that's not a recipe for going anywhere I hope that McD is a good enough coach to take a hard look at this season and make some difficult decisions in the offseason.

That's really it, isn't it. Even if the Bills, through absolutely no fault of their own, end up backing into the playoffs at 9-8 or 10-7. I dont see 10-7 because that requires that they win 3 more games. Anyway, has anyone seen anything from this team over the last 2 months that suggests they can compete in January against physical running teams? Because that's what they're going to get in the playoffs. It might be better for them to miss the playoffs entirely and force them to come to terms with their problems rather than getting blown out in the playoffs but clinging to "well we've gotten into the playoffs 3 years in a row" This team has some fundamental issues that require major renovation to the roster. Keeping this team intact going into next year would be malpractice.

Other years I'd agree with you but this team is going nowhere fast and not worth the risk to Allen. So what, he plays, they win, but he gets injured in a more significant way so they can get crushed the rest of the way out? I'd feel different if this team had given any indication of even being in the top half of the league, but for 2 months now they look more like the keystone kops than a contender There needs to be significant change in the offseason, get rid of the guys who don't want to be on the team. Allen needs help

Simply put, yes. Realistically, the Bills arent going anywhere this year. We've all been waiting for hte last 2 months for them to go on a winning streak. It's not happening, and I'm not sure they even match up well with Carolina, given that our roster is largely their castoffs. Given that, why would you put your franchise QB at risk? He's already injured, and the OL seem to be actively conspiring to get him hurt more. Morse should never see the field again. It feels like the rest of the team are standing around waiting for Allen to do their jobs for them. Let Josh sit, let MT play. Meanwhile, make some changes, shake it up. Might as well let them start auditioning for next year because they will never be a contender with this group of failsons

Agreed on all counts, but especially the expectation of a loss. This isnt the 2020 team, not by a longshot. This is a latter era drought team who could fight to stay in a game but always come up short. the only reason why we still have good (albeit utterly meaningless) stats on D is we beat up some JV teams early in the season. We're the SD Jones of the NFL now, for an 80s wrestling reference. Put on a good show but always get beat by the better team

The Bills did their best work with 4 and 5 wide. If teams are scheming against the deep pass then let's let knox & beas each get 100 receptions 10 yards over the middle. QUick hitters too since the OL is only slightly better at pass blocking than run blocking

how about every time the Bills run D gets gashed, or Moss runs into the back of the OL for 1 yard, they play a giant fart sound on the PA. Like 120db of sloppy wet fart.
