Bills backers bar in Fort Lauderdale ?????????????????????

Jets got so much talent, they put talent on their talent.

Chiefs went 12-4 the year they drafted Mahomes and 10-7 the year that he sat. Mahomes is great, but he took over an already good team, a luxury that not many rookie QBs have.

I think the shortest list in the world would be NFL refs that fans don't think are terrible. The other would be NFL fan bases who don't think that the refs have it out for their team. Both lists would be a blank sheet of paper.

Kelce was recruited to UC as a dual-threat QB so he sees the field like a quarterback. Remember, Edelman was always open too because he would find the soft spots in zones by reading the defense as the play was happening. Kelce does the same thing. He adjusts routes to find the gaps in the zone and Mahomes finds him because they are both reading the play in the same way. Here's Kurt Warner talking about it

Half of the national NFL media grew up as Jets fans or played/coached there. Any time the Jets are even passably good, they become the story because guys like Greenberg and Eisen want to devote airtime to talking about their team. And it's not just them. Ian Eagle grew up in Queens as a Jets fan. You've got that former Jets GM Tannenbaum who's all over ESPN. You've got Rex Ryan. Peter Schrager is a Jets fan. Funny how being a Jets fans drives so many into the NFL media, but I cannot think of a single Giants fan on NFL Network, Fox, or ESPN. I wonder why that is.

NFL Week 1 2023 (September 10) TV Broadcast Maps and Schedule
Low Positive replied to chongli's topic in The Stadium Wall
That Fox late map is interesting with those two tiny islands of yellow. I guess Austin is getting Carolina/Atlanta because of Robinson, but why is half of the state of Louisiana getting that game? -
Tell me how you really feel.

Why do Bills fans feel the need to drag Joe Burrow through the mud to defend Josh Allen? I get that we have to come up with all sorts of excuses to justify trading the Mahomes pick, but we never had a shot at Joe Burrow. In order to get a can't-miss prospect like that, you have to have the #1 overall pick and the Bills haven't been bad enough to have that since 1985. Of course, the Bengals took him and of course, he's been really good. He's won everywhere he's played. I will say that watching Burrow play is a lot less stressful than the Josh Allen Experience. He almost always does the right thing with the football. But he takes a lot of sacks and doesn't truck LBs. I know that Mahomes is the new Brady in terms of winning, but Joe Burrow has a game pretty much like Tom's. The other thing that I like about Burrow as a player is that he won big in HS and college. He took previously weak Athens to the Ohio state championship game in 2014, losing to Toledo Central Catholic 56-52. He also won Ohio Mr. Football that year. We all know what he did in college. He's kind of the anti-Josh Allen. He's a coach's son who went to every QB camp as a kid. He was a 4-star recruit who was on colleges' radar in middle school. We live in the golden age of QB play. Bills fans just ought to be happy that we have one of the top guys.

There is ZERO film of Hackett calling a play and Aaron Rodgers running that play.

Nick Bosa signs - 5 years, $170 Million
Low Positive replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
You can do that when you run the least QB-dependent offensive system in the NFL. -
Buffalo would have its championship if not for some sweaty shin pads.

Homer! Get your head out of the sand. Do you remember Wyatt Teller? Or the Jacksonville game? /s But seriously. Everyone loves the Bengals drafting now, but remember they took John Ross and Billy Price, who are both out of football, in the first round in back-to-back years (2017 and 2018). And Ross was picked right before Mahomes!

YouTube TV - NFL Sunday Ticket question
Low Positive replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall
You have to click on the arrow a few times to scroll through to the week 2 games. It's there. -
Petrine is a small loss compared to the loss of their entire secondary in free agency.

The Bengals are a “cash to the cap” team. They have to pay Burrow very soon. They’ll do that. Joe Burrow will retire a Bengal. He’s a local kid who grew up a Bengals fan. This town would riot if they didn’t pay him. But there is no way that they can afford to keep all those weapons. I imagine that they’ll keep Chase to keep Burrow happy and move in from Boyd and Higgins. All that being said, if the Bengals win a Superbowl this year all bets are off.

I just want him to use all the plays that work and to stay away from the plays that don’t work. Is that too much to ask? Also, whatever he is doing I want him to do the other thing. If Josh is throwing deep passes, then he needs to be calling running plays. But if he calls running plays then he needs to be calling deep passes. If Josh is taking checkdowns then I’ll scream at my TV that Dorsey needs to be more aggressive but if Josh throws a deep incompletion I’ll yell at him for not taking what the defense is giving him.

OT…Now the Jets are the 85 Bears
Low Positive replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
I wish that the Bills had some of that swagger. -
I don't know how many people here can benefit from this, but Google/YouTube have introduced a student rate plan. It's $109 for the season. I am currently working on an online degree and I was able to buy it. My son is a college student and I'm buying it for him as an early birthday present.

Breece Hall will play against The Bills
Low Positive replied to Scott7975's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s not just the NY local media. There are so many open Jets fans in the national NFL media. Anytime that they are at all good, it’s the only thing that Rich Eisen, Mike Greenberg, and Rex Ryan want to talk about. In a related note, when did it become OK for national sports media figures to wear their fandom on their sleeves? 15 years ago, there were no Nick Wrights but now they’re everywhere.
