I think it is and as meazza says it's difficult to get it right sometimes. I was watching the game againt Mexico with my brother and when Tevez scored I asked him, was that offside? (obviously, before the replay) And he said to me, without a doubt, no way, there are two guys behind him, it's a goal. So in a split second you have one guy questioning the call and one that would have assured the goal was legit. If the lineman was following the ball, when it reaches Tevez he has the two guys behind him, when the ball leaves Messi's foot he's clearly 2 meters ahead in illegal position. It happened so fast that I can see how the lineman got it wrong.

Pessimistic Fans Should be Heard Too

I'm glad I'm not the only one that noticed that. I don't mind people that see things in a negative light, but I hate it when they're trying to shove those in my face as if they were gospel. -
Name me one starting NFL qb who Trent Edwards...

A trend I see growing lately among Bills fans on many MBs. It's sad. -
Yep, Brazil, historically speaking, was always weak on the defensive end, a trend that ended 15 years ago. Not only they kept producing great players for the midfield and the attack, but they developed big guys with talent for the defense. Lucio must be one the better defenders in the game today. Brazil defense is very tough to break and Julio Cesar is one hell of a goalkeeper. I hate those guys but you have to respect them.

Because of his potential? Raw talent? Who knows. Maybe he doesn't like him and pumps him to send Meredith the message to not rest on his laurels. I for one won't apply the boar MO to bash Bell furiously because he was not Walter Jones last year when he was thrown to the field as green as he was. I still like his potential to help this team aided by coaching and scheming.

Will Maybin turn out to be the Bill biggest 1st. Rd. Bust?
Fixxxer replied to Dr. Trooth's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Too early to tell, he's still very young, besides Mike Williams will forever be the biggest 1st round bust. -
And you sound like a petulant !@#$. Get off your high horse. you don't know more than the next guy, yet it seems like we should take your opinion as thruth. Talking about OL and QBs it appears you you don't take into account the new system and OC we have. It could be possible that the gusy we have up-front be a hell of a lot better with better planning, teaching and playcalling. I could take your view that all is going to the ****-hole but many people like to think that we finally have the right people in command.

It's the conference in which they play. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CONCACAF

I'm not saying it's fair for CONCACAF teams but by taking away a south american slot right now you are lessening the WC level. I'm really not familiar with teams of the CONCACAF but outside of U.S.A. and Mexico, what teams would pass the first round? What Honduras showed was very poor. Costa Rica had a nice player a couple of years back and Jamaica was awful when they played in the 1998 WC.
-
And to think FIFA wants to take a spot from the CONMEBOL (South America) and give it to a CONCACAF team. I think it would be a mistake.

Forza Italia. It ain't over yet buddy.

Obviously, I agreee

I always have this discussion with friends. What is better? To give a good show, to play the game by creating and not destroying or win at all costs eve if that means 11 players "hanging up by the cossbar" (argentinian expression). It is evident that creating a team very strong in the defensive side first, is the closest way to win in the WCs. I don't have to like it by I understand it. Did I like Italy in that last tournament? No, not at all, in fact I think I watched that game solely because I wanted Hector Elizondo (ref) to call a good, solid game. I prefer to play a good game, so that I can be visually entertained, probably is the only sport where I don't apreciate a defensive struggle, where the action occurs only in the middle of the field with no shot at goals. Don't confuse that with a low scoring game, just because teams couldn't score doesn't mean they didn't play a good, entertaining match. Soccer is a game, therefore you play because is fun, and it's fun to play it (non profesional) because you don't worry about defense, you worry about making goals, because they're fun. In the WC, I don't appreciate much teams' overall mindset, a lot more worried about how to stop the rival instead of thinking how to score. Look at the african teams, when they first started to play in WCs they were fresh, naive, but fresh, they would play their style of soccer and they were entertaining and a lot more dangerous than what they are today. Now they hire this european coaches going against their instincts with a ball at their feet and it's a shame because they reggresed big time, they were fun to watch.

Nah, this ref crew is that bad. What is sad is that they were hand picked by FIFA because they were the best of the best of their country.
-
You just got screwed by this awful ref. That goal was legit.

Had we won more games during Schobel era, some of his sacks would be more memorable. 2nd best DE in Buffalo Bills history.

Bills and the free agent market
Fixxxer replied to thewildrabbit's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not to mention his hearing problem, hence all the false starts he committs, plus he's a cheap shot artist. I would trade for Gaither or McNeil, but Adams is not an upgrade. -
In Argentina, Stella Artois is considered too much too sweet. though I sometimes comsume it. People here prefer Heineken or Warsteiner, more of a sour taste.
