  1. "Competition is open, everywhere" from Gailey Some players musth be thrilled about this, like Parrish or St. Johnson, and also means keep working because the moment you start slacking someone can take your job. And please, don't feed the trolls!!!!
  2. I think Stroud bought himself a couple of more productive years in the league playing in this defense, albeit with a heavy rotation.
  3. Thanks for the report Mr. Weo.
  4. I tend to think that the player has the power over the agent, but the player can contribute to a complicated contract negotiation by being stubborn, indiferent or uneducated with the whole process. Stubborn like Crabtree that wanted more money that he deserved, the agent did what his client wanted. I also think that some players would tell the agent, "you're the expert, treat me right and give me what I deserve" and the agents tries to push for a little more hoping for more money his way. If this ends up this next week, we will never know, if it becomes a Crabtree situation we will know what really happens. I really believed this kid wouldn't miss a day of camp, guess I was wrong.
  5. That includes Gailey? Or that is just another conspiracy theory?
  6. Wow, 13 mil a year that could escalate to more, insane.
  7. Get with the program, everything has to be seen in a negative light to merit a thread or post!
  8. Nix said they were still in negotiations with his agent. We will know soon enough to which way this thing goes.
  9. We beat them by 17 points last year in November with Fitz at QB. They are a beatable team.
  10. He's our only hope because I'm sure Robert Duvall won't make that date
  11. So, are you saying Maybin is with the Dolphins now?????? Bad news man....................
  12. I look at the schedule (not too often) and I start to think, what a waste of time, the important date is the next game, anything beyond that is useless projection.
  13. People, don't feed the trolls, please!!
  14. FWIW, the Phins don't win an opener since 2005, Parcells or not. I think we take this one.
  15. expecting a full rant from him....
  16. That is Buftex for you-
  17. Well, Bell is still a talented player, so it might work out with better coaching and system. People get nervous about his false start penalties but that is correctable.
  18. I wouldn't have minded if he was kept but my heart didn't stop when he wasn't resigned, so I'm cool with that.
  19. With the kind of coin he's getting, she doesn't have to anymore.
  20. He proved nothing yet but to be fair to him and a lot Bills players in the Jauron Era, they rarely were given chances to fail or produce. The few times Johnson saw playing time there were positve things he could show. Maybin the few times he saw the field, he couldn't do much. It doesn't mean that Johnson will be great or that Maybis is a bust, heck, I don't know what it means but it seems fans projection is positive in Johnson and is negative regarding Maybin and Ellis for example.
  21. Of course he struggled, I expected him to struggle (did you not?) because he was a young player when it happened. Had he not struggled at all it would have been an anomaly. And we as fans got the best of both worlds, even though he struggled the team still won. The opposition wasn't the greatest but still they were NFL teams, were they not? In that span he made all the throws that were to be made by an NFL QB, consistency and more TDs were the only thing lacking from his game. Then, they came better opponents, a mix of lack of experience, his own limitations and poor guidance by the coachings staff he inmersed himself in a situation in which to this day he can't get past it. If Gailey can help him regain his confidence, that sense of anticipation on his game he could still be a productive QB and more.
  22. "We will stop the run with numbers" Greggo "Air horn" Williams
  23. That is correct, time will tell. Personally I watched a couple of games and he looked robotic, a very well trained athlete but one that would have a hard time improvising when the initial script of plays don't work. Of course I could be dead wrong.
  24. If Clausen was that good, there wouldn't be so much disparity in opinion about him. I don't understand how fans don't see that. There were enough red flags about the kid that taking him would have been a huge risk at #9. But why not take him at #41, people ask, well I bet Nix and Gailey didn't like him more 2 hours later and felt that Troup was the better player.
  25. Night and day, I agree. I remember a Chargers team led by Brees playing in Buffalo in 2002, we beat them 20-13. If you told me right there and then that that same QB would be the MVP of Super Bowl XLIV I wouldn't have believe it. The guy was so normal, there was nothing in his game that would say, hey look, he's a star in the making. Can Edwards be that guy? One can hope, right?
