  1. Wow, 13 mil a year that could escalate to more, insane.
  2. Get with the program, everything has to be seen in a negative light to merit a thread or post!
  3. Nix said they were still in negotiations with his agent. We will know soon enough to which way this thing goes.
  4. We beat them by 17 points last year in November with Fitz at QB. They are a beatable team.
  5. He's our only hope because I'm sure Robert Duvall won't make that date
  6. So, are you saying Maybin is with the Dolphins now?????? Bad news man....................
  7. I look at the schedule (not too often) and I start to think, what a waste of time, the important date is the next game, anything beyond that is useless projection.
  8. People, don't feed the trolls, please!!
  9. FWIW, the Phins don't win an opener since 2005, Parcells or not. I think we take this one.
  10. expecting a full rant from him....
  11. That is Buftex for you-
  12. Well, Bell is still a talented player, so it might work out with better coaching and system. People get nervous about his false start penalties but that is correctable.
  13. I wouldn't have minded if he was kept but my heart didn't stop when he wasn't resigned, so I'm cool with that.
  14. With the kind of coin he's getting, she doesn't have to anymore.
  15. He proved nothing yet but to be fair to him and a lot Bills players in the Jauron Era, they rarely were given chances to fail or produce. The few times Johnson saw playing time there were positve things he could show. Maybin the few times he saw the field, he couldn't do much. It doesn't mean that Johnson will be great or that Maybis is a bust, heck, I don't know what it means but it seems fans projection is positive in Johnson and is negative regarding Maybin and Ellis for example.
  16. Of course he struggled, I expected him to struggle (did you not?) because he was a young player when it happened. Had he not struggled at all it would have been an anomaly. And we as fans got the best of both worlds, even though he struggled the team still won. The opposition wasn't the greatest but still they were NFL teams, were they not? In that span he made all the throws that were to be made by an NFL QB, consistency and more TDs were the only thing lacking from his game. Then, they came better opponents, a mix of lack of experience, his own limitations and poor guidance by the coachings staff he inmersed himself in a situation in which to this day he can't get past it. If Gailey can help him regain his confidence, that sense of anticipation on his game he could still be a productive QB and more.
  17. "We will stop the run with numbers" Greggo "Air horn" Williams
  18. That is correct, time will tell. Personally I watched a couple of games and he looked robotic, a very well trained athlete but one that would have a hard time improvising when the initial script of plays don't work. Of course I could be dead wrong.
  19. If Clausen was that good, there wouldn't be so much disparity in opinion about him. I don't understand how fans don't see that. There were enough red flags about the kid that taking him would have been a huge risk at #9. But why not take him at #41, people ask, well I bet Nix and Gailey didn't like him more 2 hours later and felt that Troup was the better player.
  20. Night and day, I agree. I remember a Chargers team led by Brees playing in Buffalo in 2002, we beat them 20-13. If you told me right there and then that that same QB would be the MVP of Super Bowl XLIV I wouldn't have believe it. The guy was so normal, there was nothing in his game that would say, hey look, he's a star in the making. Can Edwards be that guy? One can hope, right?
  21. I liked the article overall, but there are some comments here and there that has me questioning if this is a very opiniated article or he knows something we don't. 1) Brohm having the upper hand and Edwards possibly being cut if he is not the starter. With Gailey being very hermetic about this whole QB ordeal I doubt this guy knows more than me or you about it. 2) "He has asked to be traded but the Bills have found no suitors. Former Colts back Chad Simpson, who figures in the mix at return specialist, will be given every chance to take Lynch’s #3 RB job" Nix was very clear in his intention to trade Lynch, with were zero, regardless of Lynch's wishes. He is in the plans for this year and the future. 3) about Bell: "His development is critical but also highly questionable, as he has not displayed the greatest work habits or maturity and has been slow to absorb coaching." How the hell does this guy know Bell's work habits? How does he knows bell is well, dumb? For better or worse I never heard/read anything about him being that way.
  22. We agree. That is why the organization with Nix at its command won't give away Lynch because some fans don't like him anymore. Maybe Nix doesn't like him either but he sure as hell will try to get out the most from him, just by making him play or until the market is forced to give something of value in return.
  23. And yet that guy picked up things fairly quickly according to his coach. And the only people looking to move him are some fans, Nix and Gailey are in no hurry to get rid of a talented player.
  24. Thanks for this post, nice to hear good things about Troupe from people that actually saw him play and his team. What defense did they run at UCF? Was a 3-4 or a 4-3?
  25. Too true. I remember when I wanted the Bills to draft Ngata, there were a few Ray Ray's articles in the net, begging Ozzy Newsome to draft big fata Ngata so that he could make playes at the LOS and not 10 yards downfield. I'm intrigued by Troupe, I was watching the East West Shrine game, he looks good, though his playing time was not ideal. If he can produce in his rookie year this defense will be a step closer to being solid.
