  1. Agree on the timing, he's guessing right now.
  2. Thank Mike, great report as usual. I hear you about Chambers, he is one of the most experienced guy out there, but hopefully some of the younger guys can push him out of the roster. He's not a reliable vet, IMO. Youboty the enigma. The guy is talented but he has to stay healthy. I remember the couple of bliztes he had before he injured in 2008, the guy is aggresive and could fit better in this defensive system. The guy looks bigger than the other CBs, except maybe for McKelvin and Florence. If there is something we will like about Edwards (DC) is that he will be sending CBs and safetie blitzs, can't wait to see Whitner in that regard. Bell (LT) has to stay healthy, I believe he is talented enough to be more than a promise. We will see.
  3. NoSaint left it wide open for this beauty of a post. Well said Promo.
  4. I think what he tried to say is that what you see is what you get, a space eater commanding the double team that isn't athletic enough to get to the QB. If Troup can do that for 10 years he's a great pick.
  5. It's August and for all we know the schedule got easier if Favre keeps unretired. Still a tough team but now is a little more beatable. GO BILLS!!!!!!
  6. Tears rolling down my cheeks, shortness of breath, palpitations, could it be possible???? is that time of year already, yes BillsPhan is right again hurray!!!!!
  7. Indeed, that is a huge blow, now your season is not so certain. To those with the wish of a QB next year, we have more competition.
  8. Rex's biggest asset will be his biggest downfall. He talks so much that one day he will say something stupid enough to get him fired.
  9. That's not his call, it's the HC call.
  10. To those who state that Nix should have traded Schobel when he had value I would like to remind you that Schobel was very clear in his negative to be traded or playing for another team. He said (in an article back in March IIRC) and I quote: I play for the Bills or I retire.
  11. No doubt we lack a poven LT but I think the system and playcalling will help mask the deficiencies in the OL and QB. It's tall order I know but it can be done to a point of having positive results.
  12. You're right, time will tell what the problem with Giather is, if there is any. But you have to admit that the extremist fan view of trading now for A or B or forever be doomed is, to say the least, a simplistic view of things.
  13. 1. Undrafted rookie from Georgia Tech, Gailey and Alessandris know the guy, they recruited him. 2. "Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man." The Dude
  14. A trickery of sorts, non other than the Fastball Special: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fastball_Special mmm, this just might work.....
  15. I think Cordaro Howard is actually a OG. I think if both him and Allen have a good chances to make the roster. In every report I get to read, Chambers is being beat by someone and Christian Gaddis is not a sure bet. Coleman could suprise, but if Schobel returns it will be an uphill battle for him. Bell could make it as the 4 RB, I think he will see ample time in preseason games.
  16. What if FreeJack has an injury after we trade Lynch? What do we do then?
  17. They're absolutely amazing and there is one for every person, moment or job. I discovered yesterday and I can't stop listening to them.
  18. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a-mzn3HJ3TY...feature=related Mr. King of The Karaoke Mic
  19. "Competition is open, everywhere" from Gailey Some players musth be thrilled about this, like Parrish or St. Johnson, and also means keep working because the moment you start slacking someone can take your job. And please, don't feed the trolls!!!!
  20. I think Stroud bought himself a couple of more productive years in the league playing in this defense, albeit with a heavy rotation.
  21. Thanks for the report Mr. Weo.
  22. I tend to think that the player has the power over the agent, but the player can contribute to a complicated contract negotiation by being stubborn, indiferent or uneducated with the whole process. Stubborn like Crabtree that wanted more money that he deserved, the agent did what his client wanted. I also think that some players would tell the agent, "you're the expert, treat me right and give me what I deserve" and the agents tries to push for a little more hoping for more money his way. If this ends up this next week, we will never know, if it becomes a Crabtree situation we will know what really happens. I really believed this kid wouldn't miss a day of camp, guess I was wrong.
  23. That includes Gailey? Or that is just another conspiracy theory?
