  1. When the coaches look at the film tomorrow, they will find a whole lot across the entire team that went wrong. JP had some bad plays as has Trent in every game he has played this year.
  2. Ridiculous that he didn't challenge the call. Looks clear that the ground called the fumble (his knee may not have been down, but the ball hit the turf while he was holding it when he went down. Looked like Jauron didn't have time to get an opinion from the coaches box, but when you are trailing in the game by a couple touchdowns and you're in your own end of the field, you gotta take another look at it. The result IMO would have been the call being overturned, Bills' ball.
  3. Yes they are insightful but you forgot to mention biased.
  4. Haven't read through all of this, but here are two thoughts I haven't seen thus far. 1. Kurt Warner is a lot better QB than many people on this board gave him credit for this past week. 2. The Bills' offensive line did not have a good day.
  5. Who's everybody? Bills should win, especally with Boldin out. That's a big loss for the Cards.
  6. Yeah, loose in his cage.
  7. It's hard to understand how he threw his life away. Many athletes act as if they're above the law, but OJ has to rank as one of the worst athlete offenders of all time. Maybe it's time Ralph took his name off the wall. So many football memories from the guy, but seeing his name up there no longer honors the Bills.
  8. Looks to me like Trent is in a contract year. What's his salary, about $400K? If he stays healthy and continues to play well, you have to think his agent will come knocking on the Bills' door. Yes, he has 2-3 seasons to go on his rookie deal after this year, but he would be so far underpaid as a starting QB it would be right for him to get a new deal this off-season. This is a completely different situation IMO than Peters because the gap in fair compensation for Trent is even larger and Trent may have achieved a high level of performance even faster than Jason Peters. Peters at his current salary has a lot less risk of loss due to injury than does Trent. That would be a motivating factor for Trent and his agent, and if Trent's agent plays this like a gentleman he should have a good chance of getting something done. The Bills might even be wise to initiate the discussion.
  9. Trent has played quite well this year. He's had some lousy halves of games but has yet to have a poor complete game this season. Still a long way to go this year, but if he continues to refine his game, he looks like a good one in the making. Trent's style of play and personality look to be a much better fit for what Jauron wants from his QB. If Trent finishes the season well, I'd expect his agent to ask for a new deal. He's so far underpaid that I think the Bills will have to do something. Hopefully it won't turn into a problem. I still believe that JP will be a good starting QB for a number of years. He needs a change of scenery. I don't think there is any scenario that keeps him in Buffalo beyond this year and I think a few teams will compete to sign him this off-season. He'll leave with tremedous motivation and I expect him to turn that into something good for himself and his next team. Look forward to watching him play down the road.

  11. Too much junk in the trunk not a good thing.
  12. I doubt the recent trend of keeping a team out west between games will continue. Teams will figure out that preparing in unfamiliar surroundings is more of a detriment than a longer flight to another time zone.
  13. There's a willing market in and around the Minneapolis area.
  14. Now if only we can get the same return on our own personal investments.
  15. Certainly the argument can be made that the opponents have not been the top teams, but all you can do is play your games. So far the Bills have done what very good teams do in winning them all and have left the starting blocks fast which is something they haven't done in forever. When you follow a team closely it's easy to see some shortcomings, but few if any teams out there look better. Many little things this year add up to a big difference for the Bills.
  16. Gotta hand it to Marv. When Jackson was signed, it looked like Marv was trying to help out his fellow Coe graduate. Jackson has proved to be very deserving of the opportunity.
  17. Hard to call it hype when you're talking about 2 likely hall of famers. They're both great players.
  18. Orton looks like he's becoming a decent QB and the Eagles defense isn't making it real easy .
  19. Seriously, I enjoy your posts. A little humor and stretch of the imagination is a good thing.
  20. Exactly and there is nothing wrong with that. The guy has had a magnificent career and obviously still plays at a high level. Tough to root for him now that he plays for a division rival, but it's tough to read the negativity about the guy that so many posters write here. All the guy does is show up to play each and every week (for something like 15 years) and give it his best, and his best is pretty darned good.
  21. No, he's a rookie. Hopefully he learns from this and improves.
  22. Let me guess.... After the Bills the Eagles are your next favorite team?
  23. Me too. Road game and the Bills have not beaten a team this year thus far that you could call a very good team. Jacksonville and Seattle each had many injuries to starters. Bills had to win at the very end in two of those games. Bills certainly look improved, but they don't yet look like a team that dominates bad teams.
  24. Avery sounds like another Jackass among a league full of them.
  25. This may be the best reason why the Bills are 3-0.
