  1. Once again, a Jauron coached team looks awful on opening day. Am overwhelming trend during his coaching career.
  2. Edwards looks shaky. Not decisive, poor touch on the ball, not ready to play in bad weather.
  3. Can't believe nobody posted this one.... The Bills will win today!
  4. I'm in Chicago and might be the only poster on this board who has watched nearly every game he's coached in his career. He's a wonderful human being, but I have no reason to believe after watching his whole career that the brand of football he preaches will every produce a playoff victory. Really hope to be wrong. It would be a nice to see the Bills do some damage in the playoffs this year and would do wonders for Dick's career.
  5. Completely agree. Another mediocre year by Jauron is ample support for his overall record that he's not a winner in the NFL. A better season means he's gotta back that up with another good season before we can begin to believe he's a winner.
  6. Wow, I hope Brandon doesn't subscribe to this. The front office has done a ton of work since Jauron was hired and I gotta believe they want a return on that investment. .500 or less doesn't give them that and only confirms that Jauron, even when given better talent, only produces mediocre results consistent with his whole career (with one incredibly fortunate season in Chicago as an exception).
  7. Simple. If you truly think the Bills can win 10 or more games, why would you not be very disappointed with 7-9 and why the heck would you feel good about keeping the coaching staff after failing to meet those expectations?
  8. How is it that you can have the balls to call the fake punt and then be so overly cautious in other aspects of the game that you give it away? Jauron is like a bad poker player. Like a guy that will fold with good cards because the pot scares him but will bluff every once in a while when there isn't much to lose.
  9. The other 31 teams should be sending champagne to Ralph for staying firm. If other teams operated in a similar fashion, holdouts would be rarer which is a good thing. Good for the Bills for remaining principled in this matter and what makes it a no-brainer is that the result (player reporting before the first game) was so predictable.
  10. Would love to see Cowher in Buffalo. Some of the same people here that think Jauron should be safe at .500 or less are the same people that think the bills will win 10 or more games.
  11. That looks about right to me, with the defense getting or setting up a touchdown off of a turnover. Going out on a limb, I'll also predict Jauron gets ejected from the game for an emotional argument with the officials while totally losing his cool.
  12. Wow, ya'll have some low expectations. How can anyone look at his 3 years here with an improved roster and think that 7 wins (again) means he's a keeper? I hope Brandon is as tough with Jauron and he was with Peters. At their rates of pay, you have to have pressure.
  13. You could hang a hat on those from 50 feet.
  14. Money talks, doesn't it.
  15. You're nuts. How can you compare what Jauron has done (if the Bills go and win 7 games again) to what is going on in Indy and New England? Consistency is only a good thing if you're getting the results you expect. It they're 7-9 again with the current roster, how can you conclude that more of the same from these coaches is a good thing? At some point you have to expect more. I think we're at that point now.
  16. If you were the GM of the Bills and Jauron and co. win 7 games this year (for the 3rd year in a row) after re-tooling the roster as they have, would you be satisfied? Not me, I'd be VERY dissatisfied. He'd be gone. 9 wins or more or you have to question if Jauron has what it takes IMO.
  17. This is a stretch, but here goes... Maybe the injury is worse than Jauron reported and Crowell would miss a larger part of the season. Let's say Crowell is healthy enough to play near the middle of the season. The Bills can still actvate him then if he passes through waivers, right? So if the Bills do that, another team would have to be willing to roster Crowell (and cut another player to make room for him) only to have him for a short time before he becomes a free agent. How productive could he be learning a new system mid-year? The Bills might not be all that high on his play and may feel they will lose him anyway at the the end of the year. Maybe they'll take a wait and see approach on his recovery and then roll the dice that he clears waivers IF they want to activate him. If they lose him then, no big deal. Maybe they feel Ellison can play well enough to take this risk and maybe they'll try to make a move to add a LB to the roster now.
  18. I'll take a win, even in a sqeaker.
  19. Alvin Bowen gonna get some playing time.
  20. Losman might have a starting job before halftime on Sunday.
  21. It's time for Leon Joe.
  22. Well, he was a tight end and didn't want play there so he was moved to right tackle. He didn't want to play there even after getting a raise so they moved him to left tackle. Now he doesn't want to play at all.
  23. Simple, the moving current washes him away to another place, anbd if there is a waterfall in that river, all the better.
  24. So where the heck is Peters? At home? Where is that? Is he going to the local Dairy Queen every day or at a gym working out? Dancing the night away? Somebody must have an eyeball on him somewhere.
