  1. Hey, for the good of the team I have to be wrong. If Trent were to not pan-out and JP goes on to be a good one, how bad would this front office look compared to a know-nothing fan? I like JPs aggressive approach to the position and I think some other coach will like that and put it to good use as well. Did you see the end of the Denver game last night? Hard not to admire Shanahan and Cutler after that one and Cutler looked very JP-like in that game.
  2. I still don't like the decision and I think the Bills would be the same 2-0 with JP at the helm this year. No question that Trent's style of play and his personality are better fits for Jauron's approach to the game. Trent is off to a good start this year and if he continues to play well and improve, then he'll validate the decision to put him in there. The proof will be in several weeks IMO after the opposition has some time to study Trent's game.
  3. Brief yet right on target.
  4. Bills off to a great start and looking at their schedule, these first 2 games looked like 2 of the tougher out of division games on the schedule. Suddenly 10 wins or more looks within reach. 10-11 wins might even be enough to win the Division. Pats are gonna take their lumps along the way.
  5. I'm not yet sold on the guy. However, coming out of the gate 2-0 erases one of my peeves that his teams tend to start the season slowly. Great step in the right direction. Doesn't he have another year past this one on his current deal? I'd wait til after this year to extend him if that's the case. If the Bills earn a playoff birth this year, it will be interesting to see if the style of play Dick is deploying is a winning recipe in the playoffs. Making the playoffs alone would a big accomplishment for the entire organization and Dick would be due a lot of credit for that. Very cautiously optimistic (in true Jauron fashion)
  6. I wish my company was worth 70-times earnings.
  7. So did the refs announce that #92 is an eligible receiver?
  8. He's hoping for a head coaching gig in Buffalo in the next year or two.
  9. I never said the ailment doesn't exist, but I stand firm that it's overdiagnosed and medication is too often used to correct what is purely an emotional problem rather than a physiological problem. Do some reading. You'll find plenty of experts that agree with this.
  10. Eat matches and shyt fire. That is how you win.
  11. Clinical depression. probably the most over-diagnosed and over-medicated ailment in our society. I can believe he's caving in under a lot of pressure. Keep him away from the shrinks and everything will probably be OK.
  12. Moorman makes most punters look bad, but the Seahawk punter had a horrible day. Coach sending a message.
  13. Did you happen to see Aaron Rogers play tonight?
  14. The fans in Chicago were not fooled by the fluke 13-3. A fluke it turned out to be. We as Bills fans should not be sold by a 1-0 start. Don't get me wrong, it was a very good start but there are many miles yet to travel this season. A lot yet for this team and coaches to prove.
  15. Matt to the other guys: We're voting for Obama in Seattle. He supports gay marriage. You guys might want to consider that.
  16. Moorman is a weapon. He'll bury the opposition deep in their own end on punts and when he's not doing that, he's running for a first down or throwing for a TD. A great athlete and easily the most interesting punter in the game to watch.
  17. This is a Dick Jauron team. He loves DBs. By the end of the season we'll be playing Stroud, Schobel and 9 DBs.
  18. Agree. Way to soon to come to any conclusion on the guy.
  19. If you're right then he'll be retiring at the end of the season. No QB who "stinks" will make an NFL roster. I'll take the opinion of the other 32 teams front offices before I consider that of every fan, guys that cover the NFL or especially you.
  20. Doesn't matter what he says at this point. He looks bad for holding out. Hopefully he's ready to play at a high level in a week or two and the Bills lock the guy up long term before the draft next year.
  21. Passion is only generated when a satisfactory financial reward is in place.
  22. Don't get too excited, the Bills were 4 of 16 and still have plenty offensively to work on. Overall a good start by the team.
  23. You must have been in the small wine and cheese section.
  24. Jauron coached teams haven't won very often on opening day, so give him credit for that. Clearly the Seahawks were not as prepared and missing several starters hurt them, but the Bills took it to them. Nice to see some killer instinct from the team.
  25. Week one people. Let's not come to any conclusions on any team yet.
