  1. Buddy nix was on video early in the season saying that he didn't like Donovan mcnabb as a QB. At the time I remember thinking it was bold because we didn't have an established QB. I think it was a Monday chat with the GM.
  2. I'm struggling to find the game online. Anyone have a link?
  3. Miami has had a ton of success running the ball and controlling the clock this year. Despite an 0 -3 record, they have been in every game. I think this team could steam roll the bills on the ground and wear out our already depleted defense if we can't stop the run. I'm hoping the coaches consider putting Nic Harris in at Safety on obvious running downs. He's as big as our linebackers and experienced at safety. His 235 pounds playing in the box could be a good plan against the likes of Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams. The Bills need to be creative and make stopping the run priority number one. While not confident, I'm hopeful that we can get back to .500 GO BILLS
  4. It's not like Stupar is behind a first round pick like Jackson is behind Marshawn. The starting TE job should be totally up for grabs at this point. I would like to see Stupar get a chance with the #1 offense in preseason to see how he performs.
  5. On Buffalo Bills.com: said Rhodes. “It’s a younger team, but you get a couple of pieces here and there and you knock out a couple of pieces that don’t fit what you’re doing, or are not even trying to fit what you’re doing and you can be in the Super Bowl before you know it.” I'm trying to put the best face on the Peters trade. We're trying to build a team and Peters might have been a piece that wasn't even trying to fit. As talented as he was or still is - if he didn't want to be a part of the team and wouldn't give it his all under any circumstance then it may help us out in the end. It seems that D. Rhodes was talking about a player very much like Jason Peters in his comments. I, for one, hope he's right.
  6. From CBS Sportsline: 3/19/2009 - Florida Pro day: Ingram ran the 40-yard dash twice and was clocked between 4.5-4.7 seconds. "I think I ran pretty good," Ingram said. "I know on one of them I kinda slipped but you have to kind of roll with the punches. I kept running. I felt fine. I'm pretty satisfied." Ingram was impressive in pass catching drill, executing a variety of routes while catching every pass from former Gator and NFL quarterback Doug Johnson. Ingram made one acrobatic grab near the sidelines, keeping both feet in bounds on a corner route. On another ball over the middle that was slightly overthrown, Ingram made a nice juggling catch. At 246 pounds, Ingram is confident he can block in the NFL. "I think I have the frame where I can put on some more pounds," Ingram said. Ingram said he had upcoming workouts with the Miami Dolphins, Seattle Seahawks, Baltimore Ravens and Philadelphia Eagles. Sounds like he's healed from his ACL injury based on his 40 times.
  7. Potential LB corps next year include Poz, K Mitchell, A Crowell, J Digorgio, K Ellison, and A. Bowen (and that's only with the re-signing of Crow. If we add one more in the draft we would have a nice group to choose from. I still believe that better play from the front 4 is going to help the rest of the defense. So I'm hoping for more picks on the D line.
  8. I love April as a coach and I think he's the best coach that the Bills have right now. in my opinion it's not even close. Last night the announcer mentioned that John Harbaugh was a special teams coach before becoming the head coach of the Ravens. Certainly the 08 Ravens are a more talented team than the 08 Bills, but Harbaugh is winning with a rookie QB. Everything that can be said about Jauron has been said. His teams haven't beat winning clubs and they lose more than they win. On the flip side, April's special teams are consistently near the top despite roster turnover. For me, if he became head coach, I would be excited about next year.
  9. Can't watch the game so I've been listening and doing Christmas work. Just took a peek at the stats. HOLY S ... that's some bad offense on the part of the Bills. You usually see offensive stats from you "triplets" JP, Lynch, Evans - in a single drive - not a half of football. The continued regression of this offense is stunning.
  10. Here's pulling for 64 - and I'm not talking posts - I'm talking margin of victory. Wouldn't it be nice for the Bills to have a blowout against SanFran? Let's get greedy ... I would like a shut out too. The last one I remember was a 31-0 victory. Hell Yeah.
  11. Unreal play calling at the end. What the hell were the coaches thinking? Just painful to watch this team. PAINFUL
  12. Incredibly conservative play calling. Are 47 yards gimmes? NO
  13. Lee Evans? How about something from him to end this game?
  14. Edwards looks like a totally different player since the beginning of the year. He has NO confidence at all out there. He's playing not to lose and is afraid to throw the ball. It's shocking how much he's declined since the San Diego game. What the hell happened to this guy?
