The Bills have not beat a team this year with a winning record. Sound familiar? At some point, if you're a playoff team, you have to beat teams with winning records. I don't believe Jauron has a single win against a team with a winning record yet in Buffalo. Maybe 1or 2 back in '06. Somehow though, that record earns you a nice contract extension.

Agree that the secondary needs to play better. Fans that are expecting this team to generate a lot of interceptions and sacks are going to be disappointed. The Bills don't play a style of defense that generates a lot of those plays with the personnel that they have. Rushing generally with 4 average players only and playing a "keep it in front of you" style in the secondary without any pro-bowl caliber players. This is a very vanilla and average defense that will take advantage of mistakes by the opposing offense but does not pressure them into those mistakes very often.

If there's a chance he can regain his previous level of play, even if not until next year, he might be worth a shot. Bills pass rush needs a lot of help.

When you don't win, you're criticized for your actions and even personilty flaws. Donohoe seemed arrogant in defeat. In Chicago, when Dick Jauron didn't win, he was criticized for being too conservative and simplistic on offense plus for not showing any emotional leadership.

Don't rush too many guys on defense, you might get beat deep even by noodle armed Chad Pennington. With a first down on your own 1 yard line, pass on 3 consectutive plays. Teams take on the personality of their coaches. Contrast Jauron with Coughlin, Fisher and Tomlin.

Here's the million dollar question. If Tennessee were playing with the Bill's personnel, would their defense be better than the Buffalo coached defense with the same players?
