  1. And the defense knows when the Bills are running so Marchawn and the O-line are outnumbered at the hole.
  2. Entirely possible. Plenty of evidence to support the notion.
  3. Jauron said in his PC that he dropped the flag on the sideline and the ref didn't see it. Earth to Dick: Throw the flag, run onto the field and yell for the ref. Standing quiet and motionless on the sideline won't help.
  4. Don't call them, call Jauron.
  5. Predictability my friends is a big part of the problem. You can predict the Bills running the ball from the couch with a high degree of accuracy looking at the formation and down/distance. When the Bills run, 11 guys on the other side know it's coming and they know who is getting the ball. You can't succeed in that scenario unless you can dominate the other team physically which the Bills can't. I picked run or pass before ever play today once the Bills got to the line. I missed on 3 plays over the entire game. I'm no football expert. Chances are the Patriots could do at least that well. I'll bet their defensive coaches were home for early dinner each night this past week after looking at film. Bills tendencies just to easy to spot. Doesn't matter who the QB is, you won't generate much offense when the other team knows what you're doing.
  6. Even with the upgraded talent he has been given, he cannot lead the team to a victory over an opponent with a winning record. He rarely did that throughout his time in Chicago. His offenses have always been poor. He's a defensive coach that plays a conservative defensive style and has no idea what it takes to put an effective offense on the field against a good opponent regardless of who his players are. His record supports that. This front office will likely have a lot to ponder about their head coach during the off-season.

  8. No. I think this site, which has hasn't been very active recently, might see a revival. www.firedickjauron.com
  9. Yes, coaching < talent on the team.
  10. The offensive ineptitude is pretty simple. The other teams know what we're going to do (run or pass) on virtually every play. So when the Bills line up to run with a single back and 11 guys on the other side of the ball know who is getting it, the RB won't have much running room. When the Bills line up to pass the ball and 11 guys on the other side know the Bills are going to pass (probably short), they can defend that pretty well. I'm telling you, the other team knows when the Bills will run or pass. How do I know this? Simple, I predicted run or pass before every snap during the game after seeing the offense line up. I was wrong 3 times the entire game. You think NFL coaches and players can be at least as accurate a me? Certainly they can. Predictable, vanilla, risk averse and ineffective. That's the Bills offense. Doesn't matter who the QB is. The opposition must love game planning for this offense.
  11. I have no clue about what? Enlighten me.
  12. Because he's a really nice guy and has a good working relationship with the front office. Give me a prickly coach that wins.
  13. A grinder? Sign him up for the Peace Corps and give him an overseas assignment.
  14. The bus driver that drove the team to the game this morning.
  15. Jauron first needs to have his lips unsewn. When the refs don't see the flag, speak up! Say anything! Shows us that there is a heartbeat in your body. Glad you can still see Trent's bright future. He's on his way to proving that his poor play down the stretch of last season was no fluke. I said this last year and I'll repeat it now. Jauron and co. did JP a huge favor. He doesn't realize it yet, but the chance to go to a team with good quality offensive coaches will put him a leg up on Trent.
  16. Yes. This coaching staff can't get it done. They do not give this team a chance to win. I sat and predicted run or pass on every play during the game (with Bills on offense) just before each snap. I was wrong 3 times. 3 TIMES! I think the Patriot coaches and defenders were wrong less than I. Now, there are obvious running and passing situations, but when the other team knows what you're going to do, you don't give your offense much chance. Second, the Bills defenders on many plays gave huge cushions to the Patriot receivers (again) and the Patriots simply ran short routes in front of them and completed those passes almost every time. Played right into the hands of the offense that the Patriots want to run with Cassel at QB. Simply stated, this team doesn't challenge the opposition. They play the safe high percentage game and give the opponent the high percentage game. Jauron has to go. Period. Very nice man, but not a winner as an NFL coach unless he's matched up against an inferior opponent. Bills have beaten teams with a winning record once in nearly 3 years of his regime. His contract extension timing was horrible. Big mistake by the front office. Good thing Jauron doesn't work for me. He'd never forget tomorrow.

  18. OK, I can appreciate your determination to hang in there with this team. Seriously, someone give me any shred of hope that this coaching staff is capable of leading this team or next year's team to a playoff birth and victory? This coaching staff was schooled today and Jauron is lifeless.
  19. Bills are a little beat up having lost recent games and having some injured players. This game is exactly the kind of opportunity we'd all have wanted when the year started. Tied with the Patriots with an opportunity to get to the top of the division with a win. Bills are lacking momentum right now, but can get it back with a win today. Not that much separates these teams talent-wise IMO. Hoping for a good game and a good outcome today.
  20. Yes, but if the Bills don't win, Trent is spared any blame.
  21. I don't think our coaches are doing fine at all. My take on it is this. The Bills came out of training camp with a revised offense from last year. Same for the defense as Fewell stated in preseason that the Bills with some new personnel would not be as vanilla. Early opponents were weak and teams didn't have much film on the current Bills. After a few games, teams have film on Buffalo and they have figured out how to attack both the offense and defense. Results (W-L) support this. Look at the running game closely. The Bills backs have nowhere to run and the lineman are outnumbered at the hole. I think the defense knows what the Bills are doing on offense. Lynch is far better than what we're seeing results-wise IMO. Now, this week the Bills play a team with a coaching staff that has made a living on game planning for specific opponents. Better than most in the NFL. They lost their star QB and a couple running backs and have found a way to generate offense without them and their defense even with age and player turnover is still putting a winning effort non the field. I think this is a horrible matchup for the Bills. Not the players, but the coaches. I think they get schooled tomorrow in a methodical way. Would love to be wrong. Jauron and Co. just not in the same league as the Patriot staff.
  22. Come on, never? What you're saying then is in a track-meet style game (and those happen sometimes) the Bills won't win. Or a game like last night. Without Cutler's big game, the Broncos don't win.
  23. True. He's yet to play well in cold weather so that may limit his chances for a big game.
  24. I don't know. Jauron in the past has been loyal to a fault with his assistants. People want to jump on Fewell, but remember that he carries out the game plan that is blessed by the head coach.
  25. Very plausible. We find out what these guys are made of in the 2nd half of the season.
